My wife was dreaming about our bathroom remodeling. We decided to hire Top Level Construction for this project. I've got a free estimate and design project. Everything was done very quick and the price was even less than we expected.

It was my dream to change my kitchen to a fashion space. I hired Top Level Construction and they fid s great job! Now my kitchen is so lovely! Thanks Ivan, Oleg and Inna for your help during all project!

I contacted Top Level for a ceiling renovation in our rental property, and they truly exceeded my expectations. Not only did they flawlessly removed the popcorn, but they also installed a ceiling fan, adding a perfect finishing touch. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident throughout the project. I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and the efficiency with which they completed the job. So I made an appointment, got a reminder text to confirm free estimate appointment. Confirmed. Then I receive a phone call shortly after from a woman telling me there permit expired or something al9ng those lines. To be honest it's very hard to understand her. Not bashing but I have family from distant lands, but she is hard to understand. She continued to ask about my projects and if I'm removing existing walls and other questions. I don't know, if I knew I wouldn't be calling you for work on my home. Anyway I just cancelled. Too frustrating. Hard to find good work now a days! Sad.

Remodeled my entire first floor and kitchen with Top Level Construction. Total time – 6 weeks. The quality of work like other reviewers say is excellent. Job also completed on time.

I docked a star because I felt I was being nickel and dimed for the change orders, unforeseen circumstances that occur during the project that require additional work. The contracts come with a detailed itemized list. The detail and itemization can be good or bad. Example: you are having them fabricate the kitchen countertops and you want a bullnose finish, there will be an additional fee because bullnose was not in the initial description of the contract. The original quote included purchasing underlayment and placing it under the vinyl flooring but the flooring I went with was Lifeproof which comes with the underlayment built in. So no underlayment was purchased or installed. I thought the underlayment fee in the original contract would have been reconciled but it was “conveniently” applied to the first change order but had no mention of the reconciliation. Upon completion of the job, I received another change order which was never discussed or approved with me and work already completed. They did say that it was up to me whether I pay it or not but if that’s the case, why present it to me in the first place? It was this final change order I saw the charge for finishing the edge of the countertop along with other services completed that was not listed in the initial contract. I was very clear in speaking to them previously that I did not want to incur any additional charges and to finish the countertop edge as agreed upon. In the end, we called the second change order invoice a wash because the crew did not install an air gap button for a garbage disposal which would have required substantial work to rectify because they put the original switch back into the new backsplash. Lastly, I received a cleaning invoice from Top Level Cleaning for a post construction clean up job. Only after I brought it to their attention did they stop sending me the invoice because the initial contract included the clean-up.

My recommendation is to make sure you know what materials and services you want and it is clearly outlined in the description of the job contract. Finalize your materials. The contract includes the cost of the materials and the way it was explained to me by the sales rep was that I could pick out anything I wanted. Not true. The rep took me to Daltile to pick out a backsplash and I got push back due to the high cost of the tile I choose. The company is not unreasonable, they will work with the majority of the materials even at Home Depot but I feel it is reflected in the cost of the material quote and there is an upcharge to allow buffer for materials the customer wants. But if you are hoping for something like custom cabinets from Home Depot or Cambria countertops, it’s not happening. I was shown materials from wholesale vendors like C&C and Golden Cabinets. If you are hoping for something more upscale or customizable, expect to pay more. That is why I recommend you have the materials picked out before agreeing to the contract. I feel it will help control your costs and ensure you get what you want.

The second star I docked is for my LG sidekick front loader washing machine. Before the job, it was working fine. After the job, not working. It made this horrible grinding noise. A tech came out and inspected it and he said it was a total loss. I asked what could have caused this and he said impossible to tell unless you break apart the machine. I mentioned this to the project manager and his boss’s position on the matter is they are open to discussion if I can provide information that it was damaged because of them or some reasonable evidence. All I know for a fact is the washer was working before the renovation and not after. Using my inability to prove any wrongdoing by Top Level to skirt any accountability for the broken washer is disappointing at best and not very Aloha spirit. I did not know they practiced law too.

Mike was amazing! Super friendly guy, and an absolute champ! We had several projects, that I thought would have taken all day, he was able to get through all of them in half the time. If any issues came up, he made sure to check with me to come up with solutions, and to make sure I was aware of everything every step of the way. I would absolutely want to work with him again!

I recently used Toplevel Construction for installing a ceiling fan. Misha, the handyman, did a great job even though it was a challenging installation. He had to climb into the attic and do some new wire connection.

He was on time, friendly, and very skilled. The fan was installed properly and works well. I’m happy with the service and would recommend Toplevel Construction to others needing handyman help.

I don’t know if I ever contact any other company again! These guys ARE THE BEST ON ISLAND!!! I needed a ceiling fan fixed/replaced. I had 3 other contractors came to tell that they can’t do it for whatever reason - ceiling is too high, electrical issues, etc. For Ivan Rudenko and his team, it literally took less than an hour!!! As a realtor and a property manager, I’m in a desperate need of someone reliable, diligent, and professional, as these guys. Kitchen looks spectacular! The workers did a great job on the installation of the appliances in the kitchen. Oleg was a great Project Manager who took care of this business. This work only took 2 weeks, and I’m happy this is how our new kitchen turned out.

The worst customer service that I have ever experienced. They are impossible to get a hold of constantly changing days and times on you without your consent and scheduling with you just for them not to show up and not to call you and then expecting you to change your schedule and work around their schedule when they are the ones who have missed the appointments they are scheduling.

I attempted to contact this place for services and I was able to have a few responses through email and set up a date for visit, however I never got a response back for time of day and when the day came I called again to see if they were still planning on coming, when I called they said that I was probably talking to some other company and that it was my fault there was no schedule actually made, I have the emails to show that I was indeed attempting to schedule and yet they claim I wasn’t talking to the right company.

I was very excited to work with these guys since our consultation went well and they were able understand the vision and not to mention their reviews were all amazing. But I’m really upset it got to this, it’s currently 11:52 at night and I’m dealing with a light that’s flickering on and off by itself in my bedroom. They did a few electrical work and 10 days ago I called them up and let them know a few things that’s acting up and got told with what seemed like concern that they will get to it to get someone out to fix the issue. It’s been 10 DAYS and they’re literally ghosting me! I texted again frustrated to get someone out here since the issue was getting worse and they said they were sending someone that Saturday. No one showed up and no one gave me a heads up/text/call or anything. It seems as though they’re obviously unable to deal with the amount of work they’re accepting which wouldn’t be an issue if they would simple communicate that or gave accurate timeframes. If you’re going to be extra responsive on an invoice I expect that same energy and response time when it comes to a job not done correctly. I’m honestly just hoping this catches someone’s attention so I can finally get a call/text back to figure out when they can fix this. Also, I chose them over a different company since they gave me a way more comfortable quote only for them to let me know later on that it’s actually not accurate for a certain project and I’ve been waiting on a quote for that one for weeks now. I was sadly not expecting this is how my review was gonna go.

Ivan reached out to me within minutes of me leaving a message. He had Tony in less than 24 hours working at my place that included, plumbing and electrical and more. Tony is ridiculously knowledgeable for his young age. I almost don't want to leave a review and mention him because people are going to request him more and he might be too busy for me next time. He is on point in his field and it's clear his family raised him right !

This is our first time using Ivan’s service. We needed to repair/replace toilet and water spout.
Prior to asking Ivan to assist, I reached out to some of the plumbers for their estimates and availability. Ivan’s estimate was most reasonable and what was the decision factor to proceed with Ivan was his quick response and availability. On the day of service, Ivan tested everything to make sure what the issue for water leaking. He was very professional, patient and through in all explanations. After he fixed the water leak, he made sure to test everything and show me what exactly he performed work. It was a wonder experience working with Rudenko LLC! We needed some dry wall Replacment post electric work. I contacted them on a Thursday and by that Friday night the job was complete. Not only was the service fast but the quality of work was impeccable. 10/10 would recommend and will keep using their services for all our handy man needs!!!

I hired Rudenko to replace two lights, Ofcourse I got the short end of the stick and bought lights that was 1. A store return and missing screws/ wire cut 2. Screws too short. He asked if I wanted to return it or for him to make some adjustments, because I have had them so long I had him make the adjustments. You can tell he is very experienced because with adjustments the lights looks just like the picture on the box. His prices are very reasonable and he is very polite and respectful.
