We had a leak every time it rained. The rain water would come through the ceiling and wall. Top Dog was very professional and prompt. The crew were outstanding. They used an infrared camera during the Water Leak Detection. Once they fix the leak, they restored my home back to normal.

I would highly recommend Top Dog for all handyman services. The guys were on time, very friendly and knew exactly what needed to be done. In todays world its a good feeling when you find a good company that provides quality services and afforadable rates. I WILL be using Top Dog Handyman service again.

Very professional and easy to talk to, both to make the appointment and the workers doing the job inside the house. They were quick to respond to a request to have someone come out to look at a water pipe and mold problem we were having. He even called earlier in the day just to confirm the appointment made the previous week, which I appreciated. They showed up when they said they would, and we feel confident that the job was done right! We are very appreciative of their service and will definitely use them in the future! I don't have much to compare regarding price, but I can say that I felt that it was reasonable considering the amount of work they did. Also, everything was invoiced and rates were stated at the onset so there was no guess work when it came to why the cost was what it was. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

I've used many many carpenters and handyman services over the years and these guys are by far the most qualified, professional, friendly, clean and timely. From start (the initial phone call) to finish (the beautiful work and shaking hands) this outfit gets rave reviews. What started out as a fairly straightforward job turned into one with some challenges. My contractor, Zurich, found an innovative solution that really worked. He listened to me and found a way to address the job the way I wanted. He took off his shoes, put drop cloths all over, and even vacuumed mid-job! I definitely recommend you hire then for any job big or small. I know that I will be hiring them again that's for sure. Don't even bother calling around for another outfit. Birds were nesting in our second story dryer vent. One bird broke through and was flying around our laundry room at 6:30AM. I scoured the web for handyman services and found these guys. I placed a call at 7:20AM, not expecting to hear from anyone until much later in the day. I was so surprised when I actually got a call back 5 minutes later from Rod! He was professional, sent me the terms immediately and even scheduled me for the next morning. The tech was professional and did a thorough job cleaning out the vents and replacing the hoods. When I needed to replace my garbage disposal, I first tried to find help online. While it seemed a simple fix, I had many previous attempts go awry, this was no different when I tried to remove the old disposal. It felt like the old disposal was bolted firmly in place and rather than trying to man handle the old one off and risk breaking something, I decided that it would be wiser to get professional help.

After calling a few companies and getting many quotes, I went with Top Dog Professional Handyman Services after talking to Rod Heiston, who’s the owner. I liked his matter of fact style and how he went through a couple of options and he wasn’t quick to recommend the most expensive fix.

I was impressed with the level of thought his crew members showed in trouble shooting where the cause of the problems was. I felt like they were looking at the problem with a home owners eyes and not just trying to find where they could pad the bill.

What was supposed to be a simple garbage disposal replacement turned out to be much more complex as the sink had a slow drain but we didn’t know exactly where it was.

Eventually we found out that the original cause of the disposal malfunction was an old blockage in the drain. Rod and his crew were a great at diagnosing the exact spot of the blockage. They were methodical and went from the main drainage pipe all the way out to the water main. It turned out to stem from years of pouring grease and other nasty things down the drain. (Let this be a warning about pouring oil and other stuff down your pipes!)
