I came home this afternoon to find loose shingles on my roof. My contractor told me to contact Luke. I called Luke, who returned my call within 30 minutes. Two hours later he had come to my house, diagnosed the problem, fixed it at a reasonable price without upselling me, and we were talking about cars in my front yard. It is one of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor. I definitely recommend his business.

We were extremely satisfied and happy with the company and highly recommend them. They did a great job replacing our old roof a few years ago, but not only that, they were there when we needed them most! When we discovered a leak during torrential rains, with more rain in the forecast, Luke came out as soon as weather permitted, fixed it and also inspected and sealed anything that could cause a problem later. We could not be happier!

He was extremely helpful and took time to answer all of our questions. Luke and team did a great job! Part of my project had to go through insurance and Luke was very patient and knowledgeable. His expertise helped get the approval for an entire detached garage roof replacement instead of just a “patch” job. We also had all our gutters and downspouts replaced. Honestly ….one of the best experiences I’ve had ever had with a company. Very honest , reliable and just downright KNOWLEDGEABLE!!! I was told my issue was due to gutters. I met Luke from Top Dog Home Pro when he came to our home and he explained everything. He was very professional. He went up on the roof and took pictures. He came down and reviewed the pictures with me. Then he walked me around the home and specifically showed me where there was damage (to very old shingles). Because of the yard angle, I was able to see on parts of my roof what he explained. Then in a day or two, he sent the estimate with pictures. He answered my questions and I was convinced that Top Dog Home Pro was the company for us.

I checked out two other roofing companies. One of those companies said he didn't have to get up on the roof to give an estimate which struck me as odd. My roof had damage, so how could a roof inspector give me a true estimate of what it would cost. I didn't want to be surprised with a substantially higher bill than what the estimate was. The other company did inspect the roof and took pictures, but did not find all the damage that was there that I saw with my own two eyes.

When his team had finished the job, Luke sent me "finished" pictures. The before and after pictures were like a night and day difference. We downloaded the finished pictures & with the dates it shows when the roof was completed. The house we purchased "as is" took on a whole new appearance. The skylight that was installed really works great. On a clear night with a moon, the skylight takes available light and gently lights up the room enough to where you don't need a night light in the room. It's also great in the daytime, we really like how bright it can get.

The warranty is also great. We asked and Luke gave us some extra shingles in case one ever got damaged, but he reminded us of the warranty and to contact him if our roof had any issue or was damaged by falling debris, bad weather, etc. I should also add that after the job done, the clean up was completed and ground was clean and free of nails, etc.

Be sure to include Top Dog Home Pro when your shopping for roofing! You'll be glad you did.

Luke and the Top Dog Home Pro team did a fantastic job on our full roof replacement. From fixing the initial leak through the full installation, Luke was professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and patient as we did our due diligence and checked every available options. There were less expensive options, more expensive options, flashier options, and simpler options. In the end, Top Dog Home Pro was simply the BEST option and the one we were the most comfortable with.

Luke was very responsive when planning and scheduling the work. He and his crew were punctual, professional, and courteous. In the process of completing the contracted work, they found a couple of other issues I wouldn’t have know about and discussed the situation with me before ultimately making the necessary repairs. Fantastic experience! I called Tog Dog to have our dryer vent inspected and replaced. The unit installed by the builder (Ryan Homes - Potomac Shores) would get clogged every 4-6 months. At minimum should be least a year. Luke came out to our house, immediately diagnosed the problem (turns out this unit is the totally wrong model for dryer vents), removed the old one, installed a more suitable model, and replaced the shingles surrounding the vent hole. He also took over a dozen pictures detailing the before and after. Overall, outstanding work and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thanks Luke and Top Dog!

Wow! I am impressed with this company! I have not experienced this level of customer service in a very long time. I received a response to my request almost immediately. Luke came to inspect our roof and gutters the next day and provided me with an immediate and highly detailed quote with pictures! The work was done quickly, yet thoroughly. I'm a little embarrassed that it's taken me this long to write a review but, you know, life...it happens. Luke Mitchell is absolutely amazing! He did a major overhaul of my house...new siding, new windows, faux stone foundation, new shutters...and it turned out better than I could've ever imagined. He's honest, responsive, knowledgeable, and stands behind his work. I first reached out to him late summer of 2021 for an estimate. He came out right away, was on time, listened to my needs, and answered all of my questions. Between COVID and the resulting materials shortage that happened universally, Luke pushed through it. He stayed on top of my order, working with the Alside company until everything was successfully delivered. Where a lot of contractors would've taken advantage of this situation by increasing the price, Luke stuck with our original agreement through it all. I could not be happier with his and his crew's work ethic and performance. He even replaced my entire gutter system for free, which I didn't ask for, but happily accepted! Whole experience was wonderful. Seriously-home repair or construction projects are usually stressful but this wasn’t. The crew that came out was very friendly, efficient, and did quality work. Luke who came out and did the estimate was amazing and was very friendly. I hired Top Dog to do my two front windows. This is the fourth job I have hired them to do in the last few years. (They have also done my siding, other windows, and gutters/downspouts.) As with the previous jobs, I got a good price, great quality products and service, and it was done on time. Top Dog's owner and all workers are incredibly professional and courteous. Do yourself a favor and have them out for an estimate for your next home project. You'll be glad you did.

It took a while to get things scheduled, but the work itself was done without any problems. Workers came on time, worked quickly, cleaned up well, and the roof looks very good. I also appreciate that Luke doesn't try to sell you things and features that you don't need, but gives you an honest assessment of what needs to be done. Top Dog helped get our home ready for sale. An old roof is a concern. While we haven't noticed problems, any inspection issues can turn into a demand to replace. That's what some other roofers recommended. Luke carefully inspected, applied minor sealing repairs, and confirmed a good (but old) roof. Honorable and excellent work. A trustworthy resource to guide your roofing investment.

Highly professional team, I would use them again. Our roof was over 25 years old and needed to be replaced along with our guttering. I did get 5 quotes and selected Top Dog Home Pro as the best value and because of the outstanding reviews. Billy Samson provided excellent and helpful advice on what we needed to do…no hard pressure sales approach (was not asked/pressured to sign the contract that same day to get the best quote as one company did). Billy was very responsive to my follow-up questions … just gave me the facts and quoted a very completive price. Luke Mitchell, the owner, was on site each day to oversee the project… his crew was very professional and considerate … they made sure to protect our landscaping throughout the project…outstanding cleanup. The replaced gutter and added “raindrop” gutter guards look great and work great (tested in a 2 inch rain with leaves falling covering the roof… no leaves went into gutters … gutters continued to flow). Luke completed all the paper work for the warranty and provided me with a copy.

So far we used them twice. First time to replace our gutters a few months later to replace the front door. We received multiple quotes, and they were the most competitive in both projects. I especially liked that in the quoting process they were the most accommodating with appointment times. Also, they applied the least amount of pressure sales tactics.

The front door we ordered came in time, exactly as requested and was installed quickly with only minor issues. The crew cleaned up after the job.

TopDog is also very responsive. We had a minor issue with the gutters, which wasn't their fault (our roof is ancient) but Luke still came out the next day and fixed it for free. He also made pictures on the roof to explain the problem.

They are very tech savvy. Almost all communication goes by email; you can pay on the web.

We are 100% satisfied with their service and planning to use them to replace our roof sometime next year.

I've had two jobs done by Top Dog and now went use anyone else! Most recent was a brand new sliding glass door. I had mine done at the same time a coworker used another company. I have been enjoying my new door with blinds and IN the door itself. My coworker is still waiting for the right door, the correct handle, etc. I love the concealed blinds! The added 8 inches of space ( no matter or curtains and curtain rods) to my family room is awesome!!

Everything was great. We had some issues and questions after the roof installation was complete, and Luke promptly came out, took a look, answered our questions, and fixed a couple minor issues. Overall it was a smooth process, and the roof looks great! I’m definitely going to recommend Top Dog to anyone looking for any roof work.

Top Dog is an excellent company!! We were looking for a company to replace our roof, siding, trim, gutters, etc. We received multiple quotes and Luke was not only competitive with his pricing, he was also very attentive to all that we requested and followed up multiple times to see if we had any questions. Update*** We had all this work done in 2018, and just recently we had the handle break on our storm door due to freezing temperatures. I contacted Luke to see if he could give me the name of the company for the door that he installed so I could order a new handle. Not only did Luke order the handle for me, when it arrived he came over to my house and installed it for me. The service that this company provides is outstanding, and Luke helped me without hesitation and just took care of my problem. Please consider them for your next home project - they really are a 5 star company!!!

Recently had Tdhp come out to install new gutters and rain guards. Company stands behind their lifetime labor warranty. I requested Luke to come out a couple times to look at a couple things post install and he did.

Top dog has become my go to company for my exterior home repairs.

I had a wonderful experience with Top Dog Home Pro! After receiving multiple quotes, I liked the fact that Billy didn’t provide me an hour long marketing sales pitch and they got straight to the facts. Luke and his team were in and out within half a day for my townhouse and they left no debris/mess behind. Also, my globe string lights accidentally broke during the shingle removal but Luke made sure to replace them right away by sending me a package (before I even noticed!). Top Home Pro is a very courteous, trusting and professional company, I would not hesitate to use them again!

My roof was leaking--old roof, obviously needed serious work. The question was, how much and what would it cost? I did online searches to educate myself and also looked for businesses in the area.

Top Dog was recommended by a neighbor who had TD recommended by her realtor. I contacted Luke, and he came out and did a thorough review. The roof needed total replacement, and I decided to include new gutters in the project. The price was hefty due to the amount of work that needed to be done--but definitely fair and competitive.

The work was done quickly and with little disruption to house access, parking, etc. Everything looks great, and the yard was completely cleaned up before the crew left.

I called Top Dog during the recent wind storm (Fri) to schedule an estimate because I knew all of the roofing contractors would be slammed. Luke and his crew did an outstanding job from estimate to clean-up. He understands his product lines very well and is able to clearly describe the pros and cons of each. We opted for a mid-level siding and had his team replace the soffit, fascia, bargeboard, and gutters while they were at it. The crew found a number of surprises along the way and were able to correct each without significant increase in cost or timeline. I would not hesitate to recommend Top Dog for siding and gutters and will be sure to get their bid when it is time to replace windows or doors.

Luke Mitchell the owner of Top Dog Home Pro was amazing!! He came to inspect my roof on an extremely windy morning after several shingles had blown off due to a very bad windstorm we had in early February. He was very professional and video taped shingles that were blowing upright while he was on the roof giving us the perfect documentation for our insurance company.
