MidAtlantic Contracting did a great job replacing my roof, gutters, and trim. They also replaced my sliding glass door. The work was done professionally, they were polite, reasonably priced, and worked with me on the schedule. I will be using them again for any needs I have in the future

MidAtlantic was honest and forthright about possible under-deck damage repairs (wood slats under the shingles that could not be seen). The provided me with a picture of each board that needed replacing and a picture of the final repair. I am amazed at the fact that the roof didn't have more leaks than it did originally.
They were always in touch with me about possible weather delays and met all schedules.

We recently had MidAtlantic Contracting Inc put on a new Trex deck to replace our old wood deck. The crew was outstanding. They were on time every day and we have never had a crew work so hard! Even our neighbors commented on how quickly and professional the team was. They removed the old deck within a day (not an easy task). They then worked the next 4 days and put up the new deck in less than a week. The home office was also incredible in coordinating all the required county permits and scheduling the county inspections. We love the new deck! Thank you MidAtlantic Contracting.

Our whole roof replacement went smoothly. Eric is the owner and the contact for a smooth transition. Get about 3 estimates including Midatlantic contracting inc. Finished the job in 2 days-used 41 squares of Certain teed shingles--the company is a Certain teed roof master.

Mid-Atlantic did a great job on our deck! Great communication throughout the process, very flexible with our schedule and some weather challenges to get the job done. Always had good answers for all our questions and left things looking clean. They even planted some new grass for us because the rain made it muddy and messed up our yard (not their fault).

My experience with Midatlantic Contracting was perfect. From the beginning to the end of our project they were attentive and ahead of schedule. We are so happy with the new space they created at our house. The project manager Dave and the office staff Amber and Lindsay were in touch regularly and had all our questions answered quickly. They took care of our punch list quickly and we are really happy with the entire experience. We went from having an old rotted deck to a beautiful outdoor living space which we use every day!

MidAtlantic had performed repairs to my roof after another company failed to fix my leak. More than a year later I called and spoke with Amber about a possible warranty repair. Amber was very courteous and helpful and quickly retrieved the records of my previous work they had done. Within 24 hours Erick quickly evaluated the issue and made the repair - no charge. Very happy with the whole process. This work was pursuant to a large insurance claim and required a general contractor. I’m grateful for them making it all happen, particularly coordinating w the insurance company. MidAtlantic’s back office is really on the ball as well.

I normally write reviews only when I’m either really unhappy or really amazed by a company. THIS IS HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST companies I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. From start to finish, Erik the owner was incredibly honest and helpful. I needed a new roof, new skylights, and a window reframed. And I needed it done asap since my roof and window were leaking and it was raining all the time. Erik and his staff were efficient with sending the necessary documents and got me scheduled within days! We talked about every detail until I was comfy with the work and the contract. Everything looks great and the job was done in one day! My standards are very high, so when I recommend a company, it really does mean a lot. Heaven knows there are plenty of companies I would never recommend. I even offered for them to use me as a “live” reference, which I rarely offer. I would definitely hire them again.

Mid Atlantic has been amazing to work with. When searching for a contractor they were the only company to actually return my inquiries and calls immediately. They have been patient with my questions. The roof looks great and can’t wait to see how the house looks after the rest of the projects are done.

I was pleased with the professionalism of David, the owner, and the team that rebuilt my deck. They were very organized and kept everything clean after each day's work. David was very attentive and responsive to all my questions throughout the entire process, from getting a quote to the end of the project.

MidAtlantic was recommended to us by a friend in the building industry. Our older roof had issues after a heavy storm, but our initial communications with our homeowner’s insurance company proved unfruitful. MidAtlantic came out on multiple occasions to support our claim and we were ultimately approved for a replacement. They talked us through our options, coordinated the various facets of the project, communicated with us throughout, and timely completed the work. It was a big job and their hard work made the process much less stressful than it could have been.

I cannot say enough good things about this company.
Out of 10 contractors we had to come for a quote on our Doors, Roof, Siding, and 40 windows they came in under 80K for the entire project. (No not kidding!) Even with this we could have gone lower but we added some options that were better for us.
To put this in perspective because I know 80K is a lot.
Out of the 10 people who came to quote, 3 companies started at well over 100K just for the windows part of this project.

But it is not just the price, for us the quality of the materials is just as comparable to any of the contractors you hear advertising out there. Do not be fooled by other contractors and their material claims, we did our research and really compared apples to apples, what we got from MA had the same values and quality as everyone else. The largest variant we found was .03%

There was no high pressure sales, the owner came to quote us not some high pressure sales guy. This actually impressed us.
Erick from Mid Atlantic asked what our budget was up front and he made us feel comfortable enough to tell him. He worked with us to make it happen. I would also like to point out something we noticed, MA did not put down other companies to try to get me to sign with them. Erick also did not use the "If you sign with me today......" line. He actually took a few days to research and get us a quote.

In addition the workers double and triple measured for the final measurements before the actual work started. Then the actual installers double measured and took incredible care of our house, and made sure everything was right.
I felt safe with leaving my house in their hands.
We had one very small punch out for siding where they tapped over one of the drywall screws that popped out the drywall above the screw and some small places around the window where the builders grade stuff was stubborn. They showed us before we saw it, apologized and patched it by the end of the project.

Lastly after the project was completed we actually feel a 5-7 degree temperature difference without hvac being used.
Do NOT be fooled by other sales people, you can get quality materials, and expert workers, and customer service, at a great value.

My roof replacement experience was extraordinary. I was so overwhelmed with the process, I didn’t know where to start. I chose MAC to partner with on this journey and couldn’t have been happier. They guided me, answered my remedial questions, were patient, thorough, reliable, fantastic communicators and put out incredible work. Zero regrets and I look forward to partnering with them on future projects.

Exceptional service from start to finish. All of our interactions with members of this team were top notch. On-site work was done by friendly and professional team members, the office staff were extremely responsive and helpful and their professional referrals for additional work we needed (outside of their scope) were of high quality. Erick and his crew did a superb effort replacing our roof, gutters, and shutters. They are an A+ company. Met schedule, all three crew members were professional, the products used on roof were latest products designed to aid in mitigating heat entry into house, and cleaned up when done. Can speak highly enough about the work done by Erick and his team at Mid Atlantic. Had siding replaced from storm damage. And was even able to redo my front porch with Cedar. All within the money I told him I had to spend. This was the second time I had MAC out for work on my house. And will hire a third and fourth time if needed. His prices were much more reasonable than some of the other quotes I got for the same siding material. And can say the compliments from the neighbors are still coming 2+ weeks after the work has been completed.

I had an amazing experience with MidAtlantic Contracting! Erick worked directly with my insurance company to replace my roof, and so we decided to hire them to replace 46 windows on our home. There were 2 special order windows that we needed and it came out perfectly, no mistakes! The customer service was outstanding, and the product was exactly what I was looking for. I was so pleased with the service I received from Erick, Amber, and Lindsay: they exceeded all of our expectations! We are ready to hire them for my next few projects soon!

We have extended our house by about 1500 sq ft in Ashburn. For this new addition we reached out to MidAtlantic for a quote to get roof, siding and gutters installed. Erick came in took measurements and sent us a quote. We were happy with the price and signed the contract. One day before they are supposed to start the work, they emailed us saying they cannot do the work and cancelled our contract. There was no explanation given on why they cancelled. Our house project got delayed by over a month because of them.

This company is not to be trusted, they won't keep their promises and they are extremely rude & unprofessional. I called them few more times after that, they went completely unresponsive.

The siding was installed on time and when I added the replacement of the Front Door, the estimate was fast and the door was installed the next day. I was impressed with the attention to detail shown by both the workers and management. Overall excellence.

I used Midatlantic to replace a porch and deck with a Trex deck. The project grew to include all new siding and some exterior painting. The proposals were clear and professional. The work was done quickly by tradesmen. Both Erik and David were fantastic to work with. No hesitation in recommending them.

40-year homeowner, not our first roof job. Mid-Atlantic Contracting is a professional roofing company. Erick, Victor, Jaime and colleagues met all of our expectations and did a complete and thorough job. Five things especially impressed me: an experienced crew, efficient use of time on site, minimal wasted material, doing the little extras for a more complete job, and excellent clean-up operation, leaving the premises as clean as they found it. Add to that a fair price and friendly office staff and that's all you can ask for in a roofing contractor.

Mid Atlantic removed our 30 year old deck and built a new, safer, bigger, upgraded one with Trex decking and rail system. Complicated job with high elevation, difficult access in yard, a bridge, and large staircase with intermediate landing. Dave, the sales rep, was responsive, friendly, and great to deal with. Cost seems very reasonable. Work started on time and quickly after the contract was signed. Work crew was always on time, friendly, worked very hard, and did outstanding work. Highly recommend this company. We are getting a quote for a paver patio now.

This company is fantastic! They gave us such a fair price and started immediately - we paid significantly less for a much better job by MAC, than our in-laws paid for a less-reputable job done on their smaller house by a different local company.

Our entire house was wrapped so my husband doesn't have to get up and down the ladder to paint all the time, the results are beautiful and flawless, and the owner came out constantly to check on the work and ask our opinions/questions. He even got up on the ladder to doublecheck his answer to our question to make sure his company had done exactly what we wanted.

We are extremely comfortable with the results and, if we ever have shingle damage in the future, will call this company back.

MidAtlantic Contracting did two big jobs for us in 2022 after we bought a new home. First they replaced all the wood trim around our house and fixed some other little items here and there. They also redid our side yard to add retaining walls, steps, new sod and bushes. The work was top-notch quality, and the team was very professional and friendly. The only downside was that we booked one of the jobs during busy season, so it took about 5 days over the course of a month. But they got it done and did a great job, so we didn't mind the wait. Highly recommend!

Had entire deck removed and rebuilt with trex composite boards and vinyl railings. Quality and craftsmanship is great and company was very responsive to any questions and details of work. This company doesn't push to sell you on first visit like other companies do, for that "now" only discount. The price was great for the quality of a completely brand new deck over the ridiculous prices of those deck refacing companies.. some of which were more than the price of a new deck. Definitely recommend this company for any work needed.

The Mid-Atlantic team created a beautiful Trex deck that we love. Their team did a great job on the deck and were very responsive. The neighbors have all commented on how great it looks -- of course, that's nice but, really, we use it all the time and it has become an extension of our house. What was unusual is they had to install a door in the bay window so we could access the deck -- although we did spend a few days going out the window (which was fun!). The door looks like it was always a part of the bay window. What was also great is they did both the deck and the door and obtained the permits. Fabulous! Would definitely recommend the Mid-Atlantic team!

Midatlantic built our screened in porch and second floor deck. This was the second time we had worked with Midatlantic and we couldn't be more thrilled. My screened in porch is literally my favorite part of my house. The crew did an amazing job. There were lots of moving parts and Midatlantic did a great job of keeping things on schedule and on time.

Great service! Two years since our roof was installed. Roof still looks amazing and they came by to check for hail damage, no charge. All around great experience and great company!

MidAtlantic outlined all the work that was needed and why. Then working with them selected shingle and color. Their men worked for two full days and installed shingles and roof vents perfectly. Clean up was wonderful and even used a magnetic rake to pick up any nails on the ground. Couldn't be happier!

MidAtlantic Contracting built a new deck for us. From the very beginning all the way to the end, our experience with them has been very positive. The estimates they provided is the most detailed from all the estimates we received for the JOB; it listed exactly what you will get and what each option will cost. Their pricing is also very competitive. Knowing exactly what we will be getting made us comfortable in selecting MidAtlantic for the Job. MidAtlantic communicated with us promptly through out the permit and scheduling process. Everyone we interacted with, from sales to office staff to builders were very professional and very friendly. They answered any question we had, explained any confusion we had and provided any information we requested. Once they started building, the builders came promptly in the morning, worked tirelessly through out the day and left the work area cleared and arranged properly at the end of the day. They were done building the deck in 5 days as they exactly told us when they provided us the estimates. The deck looks amazing and they cleaned up well once done.
