We had a roof leak develop which required highly technical and difficult repair due to the custom nature of the original construction. We called Tonys Roofcare which was prompt in sending a knowledgeable estimator who quickly turned around the estimate, including blowing leaves and pine needles from the gutters. Tonys quickly scheduled the job, consulted with the contractor working on the inside of the house, and developed an aesthetic, practical solution. We are very thankful for working with Tonys.

Amazing customer service! Tony's Roofcare is exceptional. They have fair pricing, show up on time and do thorough and great work. Our technician went above and above to clean our house, extra garage and outbuilding roofs and gutters.

Mark came out to do the work and did an awesome job with both the roof and siding repair. He was thrown a curve ball and had to reshingle the entire section but he got the additional shingles and stayed later than expected to get it done. Mark is also an amazing carpenter patching the hole and putting the siding back together. Looks as good as new!

Tonys installed our new roof a couple of years ago and we just had them come back to clean and remove moss. The technician did a fabulous job. He was very professional and did more than required. This is a great company...I would definitely recommend them and will call on them in the future.

I have used Tonys roof care for over 2 decades. Tony and his "crew" have always been professional, great work and fair and honest pricing. The 11/01/2024 recent work done was much of the same.

The owner Tony is very professional! Most other roofing compnay's were much higher with estimates and many never even returned calls. The work was done in a timely manner and they workers did an amazging job of cleaning up. I also had gutters replaced. There was some miscommunication and Tony made sure that I was satisfied with everything! I'm very please with how everything turned out and his patience with me as I worked through getting my payment options figured prior to getting the work done. I recommend Tony's roofcare for all you roofing needs. I will also be using him for any other exterior needs in the future!

Tony's Roofcare was willing to take my small roof repair job when most other businesses turned me down. They provided a fair estimate and delivered on that. Their team member (Chuck) is a very nice person and his workmanship was great! They repaired a small soft spot in my roof that needed new plywood. This is an old school company that understands that quality, price, and customer experience is very important. They really are doing everything right, and that's why I'll be returning to them for my full roof replacement in the near future. I highly recommend this company for all your roof needs!

Tony's Roofcare has taken such good care of our shake roof for many years that we felt comfortable asking them to replace our wooden deck railings along with cleaning and re-staining the deck floor. They did an excellent job, were reliable, and when a supply snag stopped the railing part of the project, they came up with a creative alternative that was so much better than the original deck rails that we were thrilled with the result. We can happily recommend Tony's for home projects.

Once again, we had a great experience with the folks at Tony’s Roof Care. We have had our shake roof washed, repaired and treated every five years for 25 years. Response to owner. That's a blatant lie. It was no vapor cigarette. It was a paper joint. You are you are lying about the employee. I was stopped next to him saw him light it and smelt the pot. So don't tell me it was a nicotine vapor cigarette.

Tony's Roofcare has been our "go to" roofer for approximately 20 years. We have a shake roof which requires specialized care and Tony's crew has always done quality work at a fair price.

Congrats! You have found an under the radar old school quality and experienced roofing company that is a cut above the rest. They just replaced my composite roof with cedar shakes and installed zincalume gutters on my historic north end Tacoma home. Simply amazing results receiving accolades from retired contractors in the neighborhood regarding the high skill level and craftsmanship of the work. This company does not advertise on the radio or TV nor have a fleet of new Ram trucks or a revolving stable of apprentice roofers wearing company logo hats and shirts. What they do have is a team of experienced craftsmen and artisans that communicate well, work hard and deliver old school quality results at a reasonable price. Unfortunately in my humble opinion those qualities are becoming increasingly rare in the roofing industry.

Tony is very prompt to answer all questions, checks in to see if if you need any advice or changes to their estimate, and most importantly is honest in regards to what you need and doesn't try to upcharge or pressure you. They've worked on several other houses in our neighborhood and they all look fantastic, they include high quality materials in their base bids that you often have to pay extra for with other contractors. Tony's has been maintaining my shake roof every year for the past decade. Their prices are fair. I let them know what I need and we negotiate a fair price. I like a little more detailed cleanup than some and they know that. The labor is skilled and pleasant. they are on time, courteous, and they aim to please. We had our entire roof replaced by Tonys Roofcare. It was quick, efficient, and the contractors were communicative the entire time. We had them install an extra vent for a dryer that wasn't properly vented and they not only did so, but they connected the hose for us too. The bid was the middle bid for us and entirely reasonable.

The roof was done in two days. Our siding got a little dinged up, and the contractors patched it for us but it just wasn't the same so Tonys came out and replaced the piece entirely.

The old roof was cedar shake, and the new roof is impeccable. It changes the entire look of the home and it is much cooler inside now that the roof is replaced.

I had Tony's roofcare Inc. come to my house to give me a free estimate because I am in the process of getting a new roof installed .. ( I didn't know how to change the bad review, I was shown last night, I received the estimate ) I took a break and haven't decided. Chris was nice and answered questions. Water began pouring into our home while my husband was in the ICU. (He is usually the maintenance man for our home, and I am less knowledgeable about home repairs, and not comfortable getting on the roof.) As a not handy woman, I felt very vulnerable hiring a contractor without knowing what the root cause was. I was also uncomfortable going off of a quote for time and materials without a guarantee, since the estimator wasn’t 100% certain what was causing the problem. (He quoted me time and materials for a partial roof replacement.)

The repairman arrived promptly on the agreed day and time, and quickly determined that the cause of the leak wasn’t the roof at all, but actually the unfortunate combo of a failing gutter and shoddy siding patch from years ago that hadn’t been properly caulked. He quickly made the repair and billed me a very reasonable amount.

This company could have really taken advantage of me in my moment of vulnerability by charging for work not needed, but they didn’t.

They’ve earned a customer for life.

Mike was my rep very nice guy told me all my options on my home. They put a new roof on my home and new gutters everything went so smooth and best of all they had the best pricing in the area. Will highly recommend Tony's to everyone.

I just had a new roof put on by Tony's and they did a amazing job both on the bid process and the roof itself. Chris Adams was the person doing my bid, he gave me a nice choice of shingles and was very honest about the things with my situation that could add on to the cost. I needed some plywood and all new fascia board, I knew this would add cost but I was not surprised since this was explained to me beforehand. All my questions were answered promptly before I accepted the bid.

The quality of the work is great, my new roof looks amazing and is totally watertight (old roof was leaking). I also had them put new gutters up and they look awesome and are functioning perfectly. We changed how they are done over the old ones and I no longer have water running off the rake board edges. The old way rotted out some wood and now all the water goes into the gutters and will protect the new rake board edges.

If you want your roof cleaned, with replaced shakes or shingles, and treatment, Tony's Roof Care is amazing! They won't be your lowest bid, but worth the extra few dollars to have your roof looking like brand new. I have used their services twice since 2009.

Tony's replaced our roof a couple of months ago. This is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review, in large part because our attempts to get our issues resolved through discussions with Tony's have gone no where. We selected Tony's because of their more affordable price. What was promised to be a one or two day project turned into a month. In fact more than two now as they are still not done. Communication during this month was nearly non-existant, we'd only hear from the on-site workers that "they'd be back". We never heard from anyone why the project took so long other than "it was harder than we thought"-- but removing two layers versus one shouldn't be that hard, and besides, why didn't they anticipate there were two layers of roofing to remove, rather than one? We had some bids where the price and timing did not distinguish between there being one or two layers of roofing to remove.

Meanwhile, during this month roofing material littered our lawn, deck and gardens, and shrubs and plants were treated carelessly. Finally, after a month they nearly finished the roof and the bill came. It was way over the estimate (true, we did have that extra layer of roof to remove and we expected that). We asked for itemization and turns out they double charged us for removing the extra layer. While they reversed the double charge, it reflects a certain sloppiness (or was it bad faith?) in their work. Communication all around during the project was exceptionally poor, especially given how long the project took. I would expect that before being hit with a bill nearly 50 percent over the bid, someone from the organization would discuss it with you. If they had, they also would have caught the error in the double billing.

Three other points on this issue of sloppiness/unprofessionalism: Tony's told us our chimney needed repair, which it turns out is true. However, they also told us (on two separate occasions after their workers inspected it) that the chimney had no liner for our gas furnace, and that the furnace was not appropriately venting, which was a problem. This led to a series of new estimates, all of which were for naught because our furnace installer came to inspect the "lack of lining" and gave us proof via photos that in fact the liner is there and easy to see simply by looking down the chimney. They were baffled, as were we, about how anyone looking into the chimney could not see, plain as day, the venting liner.

Meanwhile, Tony's replacement of our roof remains an unfinished project as some cosmetic covering of flashing has still not been finished, as they were done in a very unprofessional and incomplete manner. The on-sight inspector six weeks ago agreed, and promised to send someone else out to complete the project. He also promised to pass along our other concerns (mentioned above) with the project to Tony. Since then, nothing. Two weeks ago my husband wrote to remind Tony's of the unfinished project. Still no response. Maybe this review will get their attention.

Tony's Roof are replaced our roof in January. We love it! The workers were awesome and worked tirelessly to get the job done in just 1 day. Highly recommend.

I did a total of 14 roof estimates for my home. Tony's roofing was one of the most straight forward of all fourteen. Chris Adams, came out straight from another job he was at and got right down to business. No dog and Pony show, No hassle to make a commitment, just very straight forward. I asked Chris for adjustments to the original estimate as I began to decide on doing more work than I had planned. Chris again never pressured me into anything ! i made choices based on what I was learning. All work was done at a very safe and steady pace. All the roofing guys were straped into harness and went straight to work. I have the largest roof in my nieghborhood and it was a big job. Everyone cleaned up very well every day. The clean up driver Jackob was excellent, he showed up just as I was going to ask when the left overs were going to be taken away. Walk thru inspection found a few items...but Chuck was sent over two days later to correct those concerns and WOW! great job! I would have given a 5 star review but...the office is in a bit of a reorganization process and there were a few communication issues. No one made me angry, I just was not 100% sure when things were going to start. roofers showed up at 7:30AM everyday on the dot, and WORKED!!!!! the gutter guys showed up at 1:00 PM and WORKED!!!!! no one wasted any time. I guess had I been given a printed schedule ahead of time then I would have had a better idea but no worries. I am very VERY HAPPY with my new roof!

I was have a difficult time finding a roofing company that did roof repairs. Most only do replacements of the entire roof. I was so happy to find that Tony's Roofcare can do both! They were able to arrange the assessment quickly, and I only had to wait about a week for the repair to be done. So thankful for them!

This company came to replace/repair my neighbors roof. Upon coming home from work we have a lot of my neighbors roofing debris all over my yard and it is completely dark out and the roofing crew is still on the roof [with head lamps on] hammering away. When confronted they did come down from the roof and used a leaf blower to clean up the debris in my yard. The next morning in the light you can see splattered tar all over the side of my neighbors house including the gutters and windows. In the light you can see that there is still all kinds of debris [nails and such] left in my yard. When speaking with the owner Tony, it is very obvious that he does not care about his customers or reputation. He even informed us that he didn't care who we reported him to. I just had my roof replaced by a very reputable roofing company and can say to any future consumer, this companies work is shotty, easy to tell even from a distance! Stay away!.

We used Tony's at our previous home in Tacoma. Flash forward 15 years to our new home in Puyallup. Shopped around for a reasonable price for new roof installation with other companies and their quotes were shockingly steep. Called Tony's and got a quote that was almost half the cost of others and with better material. The workers came out early and kept working until dark, finished up in 3 days, cleaned up after their mess, all were respectful and polite. Tony personally came out to inspect to make sure we were satisfied. I would recommend you consider them an option before signing with another company.

I found it difficult to even find contractors willing to work on a wood roof. Tony's came out and provided a detailed estimate with various options priced out. It did take a while to get on their schedule, but the repair went very well. The new furnace vents and skylight windows installed look great.

I called Tony's Roofcare after finding a leak under the soffits. Tony came out that day to check it out. He responded later the same day with an estimate which I thought was very reasonable so I approved the work to be done. As soon as the weather cleared Greg called to schedule the repair. The crew were great they were on time and did a great job. They were careful to protect my new gutters and cleaned up everything when they were finished. I definatly use Tony's again.

They have promised since April 2018 that they would provide me with a certificate showing that they installed a "50-year roof" on my house. I am in the process of preparing to sell my home and this certificate is critical for showing potential buyers that the roof installed in 2018 is good for 50 years. I simply want the certificate.

We had a leak around a skylight. Tony came out and explained how the flashing had not been installed correctly when our roof was replaced. (by a different company) The bid was to replace the flashing on all four skylights and replace the vents attached to the bath fans.
I think the job took more material and a little longer then he anticipated, but he stuck by the bid. Most importantly, NO MORE LEAKS!
Five years later—still no leaks! Based on that great experience, I recently had them replace the skylights in our patio roof (a different section from the original repair) and re-roof the entire area. They also built a new roof over the back door. As before, the work was top-notch, reasonably priced, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

Very unhappy. The roof looks okay, but the workers completely destroyed my gardens. When I noticed they were just dropping all the wood, shingles and other stuff onto one of my of my gardens, I asked them to stop. They did not, and they proceeded to destroy the garden on the other side of the house. When I called Tony he didn't care, he just said "that's the cost of doing construction." Unacceptable. He or his workers could have easily warned us this might happen or asked us to transplant the flowers, but they had absolutely no regard for us or the months of work we put into our garden. Tony 's solution was to reimburse our landlord a low amount of money (he refused to reimburse me even though it is MY garden) that was over a month ago and we have not seen the money. In addition, the lowly amount will not even begin to cover the cost of the seeds, plants, soil, effort and time, not to mention the raised water bill from watering the plants EVERYDAY during the hot summer. If you want someone to come to your house and destroy your property/hard work, this is the perfect company. Tony cost me hundreds of dollars and did NOT make it right.

Update: Tony is now refusing to provide the reimbursement he promised. So basicall

Second update: Now that it has started raining, the roof is LEAKING. Unprofessional attitude and bad work.

We are now replacing a Tony's roof that was touted as a 40 year roof. The roof is 17 years old and has caused substantial damage to the house. The roofing company we are working with now was happy to point out all the shoddy material used in the roof which caused it to fail, while Tony, when called out said it was all our fault it failed. Avoid this company like the plague.

I've referred Tony's Roofcare to clients for several years. They have great customer service and competitive bids. This time they provided my client with a roof certification, which will help with the sale of their home. Many realtors in my office refer Tony's as well because they provide timely estimates and do great work - and keep the job site clean! I look forward to referring them again!

I wasn't here for the initial cleaning but my contractor said that the tech only cleaned the roof, he did not spray the moss killer solution as ordered. After discussing this with Greg, he sent someone out right away who applied the solution. Customer service = 5 stars, I just docked 1 for not doing it properly the first time.

My parents were very happy once the re-roofing done by this roofing service company changed the look of our house. The team was very professional and knowledgeable. They kept me posted regarding every noticeable aspect even though I was not around. I would highly recommend their services.

I just had the worst experience with Tony’s Roofcare. Cant just fix leak, have to replace ENTIRE upper roof before can guarantee any work. So let me get this straight: The only way they fix a leak is by replacing the entire roof?! Makes total sense. NOT.
Believe me, I am not retarded or brain dead. After he said that, I had to MAKE SURE I understood correctly which is why I said, “So to make sure I understand what you are saying, you cannot just fix the area where it is leaking, you have to replace the entire roof area over that upper room?” He said, “no, the ENTIRE ROOF.”
I gestured to the entire roof area (it is a HUGE flat roof) to make sure he knew I was referring to the parts that were not leaking at all and dry, and he said yes, that is the only way they can guarantee their work is if they replace the entire upper roof.

I am still completely dumbfounded.

The guy clearly did not care about trying to gain me as a customer as he became irritated and showed it.

I had an active leak in my roof, called and set an appointment for early the next day. No one showed up or even bothered to call. I called again and left another message and never heard back. That's pretty messed up to do to someone who was relying on your services. Totally unreliable! Call someone else.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. Tony is very knowledgable in his field, he is very straight forward and states the facts. He has did our roofs for my townhouse association Lakeside Townhomes in Milton last year. His crew was fast, through, and overall did a great job. I am using Tony's Roof Care for the home I am purchasing. I am very pleased with my experience with this company. I would definitely recommend Tony's Roof Care to anyone. :)
