Pete and Horizon did a great job 10 years ago installing a roof on my rental. I went with them over Bergin Roofing due to longer warranty and their bid included replacing all flashing and vents instead of competing bid that said "as needed." Fast forward 10 years a small tree fell and put a little hole in my roof. Pete took care of it right away.

I love this company! We had them re-roof our house. The guys were on time & the work was exceptional. Very trustworthy company. We have referred them to our friends, and they are always happy with the results.

Pete was great! We had him come out and inspect our roof and give us an estimate on a new roof. He also gave me 2 contacts to have the roof cleaned. We had someone come out and were given an estimate of about $6000 to clean it. We decided since the roof was 21 years old we would have it replaced. When I contacted Pete he said are you sure you want a new roof? We said yes.

Having my roof replaced was a terrific experience from start to finish. Pete and his team did a fantastic job for a reasonable price. They even went above and beyond by getting rid of my old TV antenna and trimming some overhanging tree branches at no extra charge! The foreman, Brandon, was communicative and friendly. I tend to ask a lot of questions and he was happy to answer them all. I couldn't be happier with the job Horizon did. Money well spent!

This past spring I noticed some discoloration in the ceiling of our living room. I went to the attic and noticed some wet spots. It appeared our 40 year warrantied roof had some leaks, even though it was only 27 years old. Hoping the roof could be repaired I began to examine some online resources that reviewed roofing companies. Since I'm retired I had the time to have 8 contractors come and give me bids. All but one recommended replacing the roof. For the most part, these individuals represented themselves well. Several of the estimates for the project were relatively close in price. One presentation was very slick, providing me with shiny brochures and samples of materials. Who should I choose?

After receiving all of the written estimates, I spent a fair amount of time studying the proposals. The biggest differences I noticed were the mention of “Hidden Problems,” and the cost of replacing plywood sheathing “if needed.” I saw these terms as gray areas, giving the contractor the flexibility to increase his price. One bid, however, provided by Horizon Roofing, included plywood in the estimate. They were also the company that told me the roof was at an “iffy” stage, and could be repaired. For those reasons, I decided to go with Horizon. The owner was very good in answering all of my questions and concerns. The job was performed a couple of weeks ago, and the workers arrived on time each day / tidied up before they left. On the final day it was the owner that did the finishing touches and immaculate clean up. The total paid was the exact amount in the bid – no hidden surprises.

I encourage you to get several estimates, study the language of the contracts, and strongly consider having Horizon give you a bid.

Pete was great! First roofer told me I needed a whole new roof because of moisture found in the attic. Pete cured the issues with some flashing repairs and new attic vents at a cost of a few hundred dollars compared to $30,000 for a new roof. Highly recommend Pete!

Excellent bid, excellent on the jobsite, excellent finished job. They used a magnetic tool to pick up the loose nails! When we need a new roof on our current home, they will be contacted first!

I did my research and received 6 different bids for replacing my roof. Pete at Horizon stood out. Even though obviously busy he responded to all of my questions and requests for the shingles and underlayment I wanted. Everything about the bid was reasonable including if there was need for plywood, a fair price for extra labor if needed, and a good guarantee on the quality of work, all in the original quote. Throughout the whole process I felt that I was being treated fairly and everyone on the crew listened to my concerns (I have new gutters and new deck). The crew were friendly and they took extra pains to take care of my property. Awesome team, great leadership makes me a happy customer!

Horizon recently completed the roof on our large custom home- lots of odd-ball angles. I wish all the contractors we've had over the years were as good as these folks. Competitive price (they were the middle quote of 3) and excellent work. The finished product looks perfect. Pete always kept us informed of what was going to happen and when. Always responsive to every question. Stable crews who worked well together. Always on time. Very efficient. Absolutely great service from all of them. Site clean-up each evening. Magnet sweep to pickup any debris from the job. I can't think of anything I would have asked to have been done differently. If you need a roof, call Pete. Now if they only did decks...

I am the original owner of a 21-year-old home in Federal Way and knew my composition roof was needing to be replaced. Replacing a roof is expensive and not knowing anything about what to ask about or be concerned about was a big concern. Of all the roofing companies I contacted and got a quote from, Pete @ Horizon didn't try to upsell or pressure me to decide and was patient with all my questions. Most important to me, it was the best value quote based on what I wanted.

The crew that came to our home was very courteous, and they cleaned up the work area at the end of every day. The end product more than exceeded my expectations and will add value to my home.

I moved into a home with a roof installed by Horizon in 2008. I called when I noticed a few leaks in the kitchen. The issue was found and fixed quickly without any cost to me (due to the warranty on the roof). I recommend this company and will continue to use them for all my roofing needs.

Pete was great! Discovered we had a leak in the roof Christmas weekend. I left message on the answering machine and Pete called back first thing Monday morning. Was here the next morning. Found the leak fast and got it fixed in 15 min to my relief. I would have paid much more than he wanted to fix it. Great service you can trust. Thanks Pete.

Pete and his crew put a "Nu-Ray" metal roof on my house a year ago and after a full year of wind, rain, and hail storms it remains perfect. I love it and would do it again with the same material; and more importantly the same installer. I had 6 bids and had all the big companies over to estimate the job. Pete was on time, easy to work with, and listened to what I wanted. He listened to me and sold me what I needed not what he wanted to sell. His bid was nearly half of the most expensive company; the one that rhymes with "Grate". The big companies have aggressive commissioned sales reps that try to build fear, denigrate the competition, and oversell everything. Don't let them hold you hostage with a scared straight Time Share type presentation. Call Pete at Horizon to get it done right at a fair price and you are gonna love your new roof!
Oh and FYI...Metal roofs are not loud during rain storms. This roof is as quiet or quieter than 3 tab composite shingles. Love it!!

We received several quotes for our roof and right away, even before we received the actual quote, we felt really comfortable with Pete. We were impressed with his honesty as he said we could probably scrape by with a few more years before even actually needing to replace it. We still opted to replace it! Pete and crew installed a new roof on our home in Auburn in 2008. It's now January 2020. Recently, I found a slow leak around the skylight they installed in my garage.
After emailing Pete he was out the next day to patch the leak. While here he noticed that the ridge vent that they installed in 2008 was an older style that could possibly let in rain if it was blowing real hard. His crew was out the next day and they replaced the entire ridge vent over 4 hours with snow on my roof.
The leak repair, attic inspection and ridge vent replacement was all done at no cost to me even though the 10 year warranty expired over a year ago. Now that's what I call customer service! Thank you Horizon Roofing.

We couldn't be happier. We got roofing quotes from 9 different companies and Horizon was the least "confrontational." Pete was knowledgeable and friendly. We didn't expect to have so many guys working on our roof each day. They were great! Pete inspected the crew's work and told us to call him if anything "popped up" and they would make it right. We had Certanteed architectural shingles, Winterguard ice and water shield (in the valleys), ASTM #30 roofing underlayment, ridge cap, and gutters. The best thing though was coming in UNDER budget! We highly recommend Horizon!

2 small jobs a couple of years apart and both were done professionally. Highly recommend them. I had one small follow up item that really wasn't that big of a deal but the Owner came out and made it right. To me this is good customer service!
