If you want to hire a contractor that keeps your money (multiple $K) and didn’t get the job done, this is the one to hire. We hires Trent to build the sunroom. After he presented the plan and we placed a deposit of $5000 to get the job started. He had an architect come to our course drawing the blueprint but we requested changes. In the meanwhile, we have engaged Trent for other small scale projects, such as adding a wall or adding rails to our porch. We paid all the projects in full after the projects are done. However, the main project on sunroom hasn’t made any progress for over 8 months. Our request to the change of the drawing hasn’t been addressed in a concrete manner. Understanding that Trent might have busy schedule and we didn’t want to wait for any longer. We kindly requested to cancel the project, refund is $5000-minus the drawing fee. He agreed to refund in his initial text but then unresponsive for our calls and texts. However, he also didn’t move forward with our project. So, essentially we paid $5000, got a semi-finished blueprint and waited for over a year and nothing was done. His argument was this $5000 was baked into the cost of other projects but we have separate quotes for other projects from him and we’ve paid in full. After we have read other review about failing to refund $2000, it seems a consistent pattern. Please address it ASAP before we bring it to the next level!!

We hired Trent to do a major renovation of our 60 yr. old home in Bon Air. They removed a garage door and bricked up the wall, renovated our entire basement and laundry room-bath, the master bath and the upstairs guest bathroom. In the process, they also re-did the gutters (thank goodness), successfully addressed a big plumbing issue, power-washed the entire house and even replaced a large stretch of our backyard fence. We chose Trent because he gave us confidence when we met with him that he would deliver quality results we would be proud and he worked with us to do it for a reasonable price. And we were not disappointed at all. The work was consistently top notch and on those few occasions when we were not pleased some aspect of the daily progress, they re-did what had to be done to make us happy, sometimes more than once, without complaint. Trent made our vision into reality and helped fashion some creative design solutions to really make our home more functional and attractive. His crew was reliable and respectful. It was not in my character to leave my house unlocked and the doors open for workers and unknown subcontractors to be in and out while we were away at work all day. But, not a single thing was ever disturbed, broken or unaccounted for and they took care of the place like it was their own. We thought the price we paid was very fair and was no doubt, honestly earned. The work took longer than estimated, which we knew to expect. The entire process was about a 5 month ordeal. We are now 2 months since the conclusion and could not be more satisfied. We enjoy our new living space daily without a hint of regret or remorse. TM and KM definitely gave us the interior we had been dreaming of for years. We look forward to having them re-do our front porch and will likely have them do our attic as well. Highly recommended. 5-star all the way.

However, I have had a terrible experience with this contractor and its owner, Trent Davis. He still owes me over $2,000 and won't answer my calls or explain why he is keeping the money.

I have had many Contractor experiences; some good and others bad. This one was Amazing and gave me renewed faith in hiring a general contractor. Several reasons.

Professional Staff when you are communicating (Vernice is Superfantastic)

Trent came out to look at the job site in unusually short notice. (This was very refreshing, he made you feel valued)

Pricing was extremely fair . I believe this is because he employs his own crew versus Subcontracting everything out.

His crew was very attentive to detail and was very friendly and professional.

I would not hesitate to reach out to this team again for additional work (Big or Small) I’m confident you will be pleased with the outcome

Trent and his team did a great job with an old house reno of a bathroom. Trent made sure the structure could support the new fixtures and tile work.

They put down new flooring paying attention to detail. Results look just like a showroom. The guys were polite, explained everything along the way, and made sure everything was correct. Would use them again!

TM & KM recently finished a basement upgrade project for our home. We spent a lot of time researching and reaching out to contractors in the area for the project, and selected TM & KM for their communication, price and overall positive repor. Scheduling and communication from the office was very reliable and helpful for planning. Throughout the job, we were very satisfied with the daily progress of crews, communication and of course - the quality of work. It looks great! We have recommended them to neighbors, and would certainly work with them again.

Couldn't recommend these guys enough! We had them extend an upstairs dormer to create a full size bathroom and partition off the upstairs to create a landing with two separate bedrooms. Trent and his team were extremely professional through the whole process. I felt that the estimate we received was extremely fair and reasonable for the amount of work done, and Trent made every effort to stay within it. George was our day-to-day guy, and he was unbelievably knowledgeable and transparent with unforeseen obstacles; we always felt like we were in good hands. I'm sure anyone on Trent's team would be equally great. We will absolutely be using TM & KM again for future work!

TM & KM just finished a complete bathroom reno for us. Trent was great to work with, knowledgeable, professional, and did just what he said he'd do. The work was high quality, they helped make some design changes on the fly, and it turned out beautifully. We will definitely use them again for other projects.

Trent and his team did an amazing job! We hired TM & KM Construction to knockdown a load bearing wall, remove a vestibule, replace the front door, and install new hardwood flooring in the living room, dining room, and hallway. The project took about three weeks and created a lot of dust and debris. However, they cleaned up the work site on a daily basis and left everything impeccably clean when they were done. During the work, they kept me informed on everything going on and were methodical and detailed focused. I was impressed by how they took the extra time to make sure everything was done correctly. We had a lot of wood and trim work and they took the extra time to make complex cuts to ensure pieces fit together perfectly (versus jamming things together and covering it with caulk). Overall, I highly recommend Trent and his team.
