Absolutely excellent service and crew. Jose, Elvin, Luis, and Marcelo worked continuously for 4 days until job was completed. The only time I saw a break was for lunch. The area they worked on in this house(built in 1945-46) hasn’t been this stable in the last 15 years. If we need any further work done, this is the company we will call. You should too. You won’t be disappointed!!

I have been very pleased with the workmanship of VA Foundation Services. They installed a perimeter drain under my house with two sump pumps last year. They came this week to do the yearly maintenance and they were on time for the appt, checked the pumps and also checked under my house for any issues. Everything was good and Caden, the technician, was friendly, informative, and very professional. I would recommend this company for any of your house & property needs.

Virginia Foundation Solutions we’re a pleasure to work with. The process was very smooth from the initial quote from Mikey, to scheduling, and during the work being performed. If I could leave more stars, I would. This is the best experience I've had with any vendor in the course of my renovation travails. All of them—Duane B, Carl M, Will, David, Samuel, and Baker, went above and beyond in the work they did in my house's crawlspace, to include installing steel beams, jacks, etc., to support a rotting foundation, clearing out the wreckage from other vendors, and putting in a new crawlspace lining that is so much better than the crap they pulled out and replaced. It looks pristine under there and all the work was top notch. Their pricing is fair, and the work quality is exceptional. Plus, they worked fast and were out of there in a day, cleaning up any mess in the yard and under the house. I sincerely hope this company does not lose its attention to the customer and become one of those companies that only thinks about time and money and ends up screwing the customer. I select vendors based on price, but especially on how I interact with the crew and salespeople. I have no desire to hire a company with unhappy employees and difficult to work with. So kudos to the owner, whoever he or she is, for bringing a company to Richmond that is so customer-oriented. Thank you, Virginia Foundation, for a job very well done!!!

The crew of Donovan, Justin, Jacob and Clifford installed 2 beams for us. They did an excellent job. They were respectful and did a great job cleaning up after they were done. Donovan is astute and recognized a situation in our neighborhood that could have been a big issues for us. Thanks to the Purple Crew and especially Donovan.

Mauricio, Gerardo, Irving, and Rodolfo- The RED VFS Team were AWESOME! Very hard workers And how they completed our basement job in 3 days. I'll never know but did a fabulous job.

The work crew was on time both days. Obvious diligent effort by all three members of the crew. I was able to follow their progress throughout. All of my questions were answered directly and professionally. They left my property looking the same as when they first arrived. The coordination with the office and work supervisor was excellent.

My home is on a low area near a tidal creek on the Chesapeake, it is 50 years old. We have been having under house work done for a while. We have gotten bids and inspections from 3 different companies. Most of them just proposed what they wanted to do and were expensive. Mickey Demasi, not only looked at the job but welcomed the idea of my going under with him where he actually listened and focused on fixing the issues without trying to expand the job even more. Then the two VFS crews that worked on my home (Purple and Yellow) this past two weeks did an absolutely stellar job. We have been trying to fix these two problems for almost 5 years. Another company came in and sistered a bunch of joints in our home but they ignored an area they said they could not reach. They also refused to work in a small space under a slab where the wood frame was actually rotting away. Despite having a local inspector create a real problem for them the Purple crew managed to get the areas prepped and did support half of the section others "couldn't" reach. Then the Yellow team was able to satisfy the inspector and finished the under slab job. But they went further, thinking the problem through, they worked into the hard to reach area from the other side and actually fixed it. Our floor is no longer softening. Kudos to VFS I have already recommended them to someone that has asked me for my experience since they have had bad experiences with the competition.

The Red Crew was awesome,and kept me informed all thru the project.The supervisor came both days and updated. Clean up was like they were never here!

Virginia Foundation solutions just completed work on my home. My team was the white group. They were very professional started work early worked hard and answered all my questions. The on-site supervisor was very courteous, smart professional through out the process. Thank you VFS.

Had a team of 4 led by Edwin. Had them sister up a good amount of joists. Also installed five jacks to shore up some sagging beams. After they were done, I went under the house to see the work and everything was installed as expected and looked great. Everything was completely cleaned up from both crawlspace and driveway before they left. The floor where the jacks were installed now feels very solid. I would highly recommend.

Mr Sammy, Mr Ronin, Mr Willian and Mr Jose are amazing. Professional from their arrival to their departure. They arrived early every morning, notified us of their presence on the property before beginning each morning and notified us before departing each evening. The only sound we heard from the work crew was them communicating with each other and the sound of tools on wood. Neither of which was overly loud or excessive.

Mr Sammy reviewed the work documents with us before starting the job and walked through with us after the job while showing us photos of the work accomplished.

They cleaned up daily before departure and removed all debris, trash and tools from the site to prevent any hazards being left around to hurt our dog or children.

I would use them again and recommend this crew for future jobs.

Mr. Hugh and Mr. Carl made several visits (at the beginning, during, and at the end of the work) to keep us update on the progress as well as to check if we had any concerns.

All in all Virginia Foundation Solution is truly a professional organization with professional employees who stand on their promises. This 6 day job took 5 and they worked in 3 inches of snow with temperatures ranging from 18 to 26 degrees…

Justin, Alex and Tommy were here on time and finished the job in a few hours. Very courteous and when finished showed me the pictures of what they had done. They will email us the pictures. Would highly recommend them.

Crew was quick and professional. However, when the job was complete, the process and corrections were not explained well other than quickly flipping through phone pics. I thought an indoor laser-light measurement would have been conducted to verify the foundation is level but this did not happen.

We had our crawl space encapsulated the past two days by the VFS “White Crew” lead by Edwin! Also installed a dehumidifier with a drainage system! They were OUTSTANDING! Punctual, hard work and standards! Found a water leak, let us know, so we could get it repaired immediately! Answered all our questions and made us feel at ease! “Chris” did a great job with the estimate, because we got everything VFS promised and told us to contact him anytime if any questions!“Hugh” did a great job constantly checking on us to make sure we were satisfied and told us to contact him anytime if any questions! He even did a quality control check by crawling around in the crawl space taking pictures! We will recommend VFS to everyone!

We had foundational work done. Sonny and his team did, what I believe to be an excellent job. Time will tell but I am very satisfied with the professionalism displayed by Sonny and Co. He found an issue that we were not aware of and after pointing it out to his boss it was brought to my attention. The necessary and significant repair was made at minimal cost to me, which was much appreciated. This additional repair added additional work to be done while not adding to profit from the job. I suspect many workers would have ignored the issue saving themselves time and work. Sonny and Hugh took the high road, doing what was right by the home owner.

My crew was Hugh with Pink crew and they did an excellent job on the encapsulation of my crawl space. Sammy and his crew showed up and got right to work. Hugh ensured I knew what would be done each day and answered any questions I had. The crew did an excellent job, cleaned up at the end of each workday, were very polite, and even finished a day early. I love how clean my crawl space is now, especially since I have to go in there monthly to change my house water filter.

The Blue Crew (Donovan, Alex, Tommy and Oscar) were great. They were punctual, highly efficient and professional deal with. They left things tidy and in order upon leaving and made sure to go over everything with me. Along with Cody the field supervisor and Brian the foundation specialist, who checked in to make sure things were running smoothly, I would say this company is very good and I would highly recommend.

In 2023, VFS installed a french drain system with two sumps under our crawlspace. Now one year later our annual maintenance and inspection arrived. We also started having a small issue with one of the sump alarm boxes draining the 9volt battery so VFS sent Nolan out to take a look. Putting the drainage under the crawlspace was a huge investment so it makes sense everything works properly. When Nolan arrived he did a thorough inspection, cleaned the pumps and made sure they worked and discharged properly and made the repair to the Alarm box. Every question Nolan answered without hesitation and he followed up right away with our service report. Overall really nice guy and our sumps are in great shape. Thanks Nolan and VFS for keeping the water out!
