The communication through the process was very poor. Many timeline commitments were made (like I’ll let you know by end of day) and not followed up on. Through the whole process, if we wanted an update or to know what came next we had to reach out. The work on the roof was fine, but again came with poor communication (including nobody present on construction day that spoke English).

I would not recommend using this company.

After hail storms last summer, we had TJ Beam evaluate our home. They were very thorough in the inspection, assisted in working with our insurance company and worked with me on the selections of siding and roofing. We worked with Dan and he's been very attentive to our renovations. They replaced and repaired our roof and completely replaced the siding. We have been very pleased with the work crew. They are fast workers and very skilled. As we are winding down on our home renovation, we are so very delighted by their attention to detail and workmanship. A+ company!! Thank you!!

Following a severe storm that caused significant hail damage to my residence, numerous companies visited to assess the extent of the repairs needed. However, I declined their offers due to concerns about their reliability. In contrast, TJ Beam approached the situation with a different approach. There was no significant pressure to sign a contract with them, and they confidently guaranteed their work for life. They collaborated with the insurance company to obtain the necessary approvals, although the process was delayed due to the approaching winter and the need to complete the remaining work in the spring. Unlike other companies that may have seemed to vanish, TJ Beam remained committed to finishing the job they had begun four months earlier. I highly recommend this company for any exterior work. They actively engage with their clients and listen to their concerns. You cannot go wrong with TJ Beam.

Update: Changed 1 star to 3. I had issues with water damage in my ceiling in two different areas where the ceiling is vaulted without attic between the drywall and roofing. I climbed on the roof to look around, and I can see that they never caulked the holes that were drilled into the roof for the scaffolding when installing the siding. Absolutely ridiculous, totally unprofessional, and they are not answering my calls. (They called me hours after I posted this review, something internally happened and they failed to get in touch with me). I sent photos of the roof stains, and sent photos of the holes. [Maybe they will see this message and actually get back to me and fix the issue. If so, perhaps I could come back and modify my rating.] Hey I predicted the future!

But it gets worse…

In addition to the roof leak, they never reconnected my ceiling attic fan, and left the cut wires exposed and dangling from the fan. (They say they don’t do anything in the interior. My ask is better communication that I need to fix that after they do the roof). Every roof vent in the attic is about 3-4inches off center from the hole in the roof. (This is a good reason to not give 5 stars). One of my gutters is pitched downward on both sides, and there’s only a gutter on one of the sides. This is causing water to spill over the edge and creating water stains on my new siding. (He they agreed to come out and fix this. Still, another reason for not 5 stars.) I also have buckling siding all across one side of my house. (Also coming to take a closer look, perhaps it’s a defect, or just needs to be caulked to hold it down?). I will say the porch that I paid extra money for looks great! The rest, a headache. Maybe that’s why they are avoiding me. (They have been in much better contact lately, I’m thankful for that)

We just had our roof replaced by TJ Beam Inc. Our salesperson was Dan. He checked our roof and found damage from a recent hail storm. He took charge to make sure our insurance company settle the claim fairly. Made the whole process completely painless. TJ Beam quickly and professionally came out and using the highest quality materials (IKO Dynasty) knocked out our roof in a day leaving the job site spotless! I am very well satisfied with selecting TJ Beam and especially happy having Dan to work with as he really knows how to make this process so painless! Thanks TJ Beam!!!

T.J. Beam was phenomenal to work with. They were kind, fast, and efficient, and our new roof looks absolutely beautiful! Dan was wonderful to work with and very attentive throughout the process. We would highly recommend their services!

Turns out we were away when a storm hit our area. Ben Halter and a person he was training stopped by and asked if I would like them to look over our home for storm damage. Fast forward to the bottom line, they found enough damage for me to contact our insurer. They sent out an adjuster of their own and agreed with TJ Beam. We now have a new roof that was completed as scheduled and we’re very happy with the results. The photos will show the previous brown roof and now we have a black roof that is new and matches our color scheme. We recommend TJ Beam. There was no pressure, it was professional and timely. Give them a try!

I worked with Dan, from TJ Beam, Inc, And the amount of patience and help that he gave me and my family to have our house done within a time frame, he exceeded my expectations and delivered with giving us a beautiful new home! I highly recommend working with him and his team/crews As they were all a pleasure to work with, very kind, very prompt in their communication, and went above and beyond for our sincerest customer satisfaction! I am glad that we saw many signs in our neighborhood that used them and that we reached out to them and didn’t go with anyone else. Our salesman, Dan and the work crew did an excellent job! Dan helped us with filing an insurance claim and stayed by our side throughout the whole process. The work crew was on time, polite and were very hard workers! Not only did they do an excellent job of putting the roof on, but they also did an exceptional job cleaning up! This roofing company is thorough and goes above and beyond! We were remodeling our basement and had a leak, JT roofing came out and reroofed our house the next week, to help us with our problem. Roof looks great! I called Dan a couple days later and stated the leak was back, so he brought Bill, the owner of the company, to see what was going on, because they had done a great job around the chimney with flashing and other materials to help with any water coming in. Bill decided to go up on the roof-93 degree day-and carried another ladder on top of our two story home with many peaks, to climb to the top of the chimney. He Fixed the problem-it was the fan that was loose and holding on by an inch of rusty caulk. So Bill caulked it really well and no more water! These guys Dan and Bill I can’t say enough good about!! Thank you for your speedy quality work and coming out same day to fix our problem! Highly recommend

STORM CHASER, We should’ve known better when starting to work with Dan on a possible roof replacement due to storm damage. During the initial assessment Dan let us know that we had significant hail damage and was confident that it would get covered by insurance which was a major concern of mine because I didn’t want to submit an insurance claim for nothing. Once the insurance adjuster came out to inspect he in fact found zero roof damage, and even asked the other TJ rep that was here to point it out for him to take a look, which at that point the TJ rep said THERE WAS NO DAMAGE. He didn’t even pull out the original report or inspection from Dan. State Farm closed out the claim with a very minimal payout for other damage that was not even the original concern. So now we have a claim on the house, will see increased premiums, and not even have our roof replaced thanks to trusting the “experience”, “knowledge”, and recommendations to move forward from Dan. Extremely disappointed with the outcome of trying to work with this company, when clearly they just wanted to make a sale & didn’t care about our concerns at all! Would not recommend!

I was turned down TWICE with 2 different contractors who guarenteed us we would get our roof fixed...radio silence after the adjuster appointment.
My neighbors used tj Beam, so I gave them a call..the went to bat for us and hit a home run!! Not only did we get a new roof, but our old aluminum siding was replaced along with new gutters....these guys are the REAL DEAL! we couldn't be happier!!

Wow, what a phenomenal experience it was to work with Tom at TJ Beam. I needed new siding on my home and reached out to them for a quote. Although I was paying out of pocket; as this wasn't an insurance claim, it didn't matter to Tom. He provided excellent service from start to finish. In addition, on the installation day his crew was outstanding. No more ugly, dilapidated siding when I drive up to my house. Now it looks like its new again. Thank you Tom & all the guys at TJ Beam!

We called TJ Beam to get an estimate for storm damage to our roof, siding and window saches. I spoke to Bill and he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about helping us. Ben came to our home to give the estimate, he was very thoughtful, thorough and knowledgeable and made us feel at ease during the entire process. The work on the house went smooth and in a timely fashion. Construction crews were professional and did quality work and left the site clean. In the end the suggestions by Bill and Ben on materials and color options not only fixed all the storm damage but transformed the entire appearance of our home from old and dated to New and inviting with curb appeal. I had Brandon Brooks reach out to me last year for hail damage to my house from the August storms last year. He was very professional in explaining the damage and the process for repair/ replacement. We filed a claim and he thoroughly explained that process to me as well. My insurance company gave us a tight deadline to complete repairs so TJ Beam was able to do the work in the middle of Janary which allowed us to get the process complete ahead of schedule. Overall I'm satisfied with the work they did and would definitely recommend Brandon and his team to anyone in need of roof repairs.

Replaced roof and siding on entire house. House looks great. Only complaint was communication needs to be better. But key members of team were very nice and concerned with the work being done correctly.

Jon Harden is very personable, professional and determined salesman for TJBeam. I enjoyed working with him as he worked hard to get work done at my home. It took time to get assessed properly but persistence was in our favor. The house was sided beautifully and workmanship to top standards. It took longer than I thought to get gutters installed but I will leave it to the Carona Virus Pandemic. tough times for sure. Mike and owner Tom came out to make sure I was being taken care of. TJ Beam replaced our roof about 5 years ago and we were so pleased every step of the way! Fast forward five years and we have a leak coming through our bathroom fan. Trying to pinpoint the problem and called TJ Beam to check the roof. We called at 4:00 and he came out within 3 hours!!!! He checked everything, thoroughly, went over potential issues (not roof related), gave us great tips on how to solve the problem, AND went on the roof to caulk around the vents just to be safe. All of this and no charge!!! Love dealing with a contractor that stands behind their work! Highly recommend!!!
