I recently had the pleasure of working with Rob and his team on an insurance claim for my roof that was damaged in a hailstorm. The insurance company did their best to drag the claim out and deny parts of my claim that shouldn’t have been. Rob explained the process from the beginning so I was able to trust the process and he followed through and was able to get the claim fully approved and installed my new roof just a few weeks later! Highly recommended!!!

We recently had the opportunity to work with Rob and Austin to replace our old roof and gutters. Austin coordinated everything with our insurance company providing documentation and following up on additional requests for information. Rob's team did a great job on installation. The worksite was left very clean and free of debris. They both checked in and made sure all was going well through the process. We are very happy with the finished product and we highly recommend Rob's team to get the job done.

Significant project delays, poor communication, shoddy workmanship, unreliable crew members, lack of responsiveness to concerns, poorly written contracts,I felt left in the dark with how much the initial cost was drastically increased and I was left to pay some of it off as the insurance would not cover it. No deadlines it was always a hassle to get things scheduled and when so wouldn’t either show up or even contact me. Took nearly 6 months to put the gutters on, within that timeframe I left numerous voicemails for Rob and he only returned ONE of my phone call and even then did not give me ANY definite answers. Save yourself a major headache and do not hire them. I’ll add that I chose this company as they were local and seemed to have good reviews.

We had some roof damage after a storm and searched for a reputable contractor. Through Facebook, Midwest Building Solutions came very highly recommended! Then, I was contacted by Ralph directly through messenger, as he saw his company tagged in the post. He was very friendly, accommodating and agreed to come out immediately for a free estimate, which was greatly appreciated! Rob and Ralph both came out and discussed our options. I never felt pressured to follow through with their company, but appreciated the time and care they put into helping us with the new roof. In addition the inspection was so thorough that there were more things that had been damaged, and they were very honest about it all up front! They worked with our insurance and the roof was fixed swiftly and it has been great ever since! I greatly appreciate them for all their help and hard work, plus personability! They’re good, local, hardworking guys. I highly reccomend this company for all contracting needs and tell all my friends! Thanks Rob and Ralph for everything!

After 4 denials from other companies; Luis and the Midwest team finally got us a full approval on the roof and gutters. Whole process was seamless! Would recommend to anyone who needs a new roof and especially to people who keep getting denied by insurance! Thank you Luis and the Midwest team for making such a frustrating process so easy!

We got our roof and gutters done by them and they did a great job. Very proactive with working with our insurance and got most of it covered. It was an overall good sales process.

Let tell you when I say Midwest Building Solutions not only promises, they actually follow through on the delivery, I’m not lying!!! I had the pleasure of working with Rob on my claim. I had filed multiple insurance claims on my roof/siding in the past from different sales rep that would come to my door and promise the world, but every claim was denied and then they were nowhere to be found! Until I met Rob! He was honest and upfront about the process and didn’t sugar coat it. State Farm initially tried to deny my claim again as they had with 4 prior claims in the past. But like the others, Rob didn’t stop there! He fought on my behalf and was able to get the denial overturned into a FULL APPROVAL. We went from $0 to almost a $70k approval. Not only was my roof/siding approved but Rob was able to get them to cover a few other things like gutters, window wraps and garage doors that I had no idea they would even cover! If I could give 6 starts I would!!!

We selected Midwest Building Solutions (MBS) to replace our roof. I worked with Rob throughout the entire process. He was very polite, professional and honest. He answered all of my questions in detail and explained the process and how long the project would take. I was very pleased with the quality of MBS's work. They do not subcontract their work and they guarantee their work. Our roof is very steep in certain places and has several angles. They did not have any issues with this and did not neglect perfection. Their attention to detail was first class and there were no surprises or hidden costs. Lastly, MBS did a great job of cleanup, i.e., picking up any old shingles debris, nails etc. I would recommend MBS for any roofing needs.

We had an extremely difficult and lengthy process getting our insurance to cover notable damages to our home. The insurance company sent 2 different engineers to eventually deny our claim. Rob worked with us for roughly 6 months (taking calls from our insurance, providing experience and insight, while also challenging the claim adjusters reasoning for denying).

Eventually, with Rob’s assistance he was able to sway the claim decision in our favor and we were able to get new siding and gutters for our 20+ year old home. Rob’s team did a professional and exceptional job and we are very happy with the process and end results.

It’s not often that I take the time to write a review. I only wish that I could give more than a 5-Star review. I had the absolute best experience with Midwest Building Solutions. My roof was 21 years old & had been through a number of hail incidents. I knew that it needed replacement but frankly I didn’t want to deal with the Insurance Company or the hassle of having the work performed.
Luis & his team were wonderful. They handled all the communication with the Insurance company & even the Bank. The crew worked from Sunrise to well past sunset. I’ve never been more impressed. My roof looks great & I know the work has increased the property value.

They were also great with all the back and forth that is inevitable with your insurance company when you are replacing a roof. When everything was said and done we had a beautiful new roof. Midwest replaced our roof and gutters. They were amazing. They worked closely with our insurance company to get a full roof replacement. It took a couple of months of back and forth between the insurance and Midwest, but Midwest was always on our side until the end.

Midwest Building Solutions was our homes saving grace. Our roof was slowly blowing away. We had multiple roofers walk away from the job despite our home needing a full replacement because unbeknownst to us, our insurance company and the adjuster assigned are beyond difficult to work with. Rob Springhorn of MBS was not afraid, he is honest, smart, tenacious, and kind. He took on our job and we finally got a full roof replacement.
