I bought some tarps but after finding a better grade tarp at Walmart for less than Ace's cheapest one, I returned to Ace for a refund.
Prices are high, but you can get what you need in a small, remote town.

Ace is the small town hardware shop that you need. Whenever I have a need, most of the time they have it. Which is a huge thing as it's an hour one way, or an hour and a half the other way to drive to a city.
And everyone who works there is very helpful.

I'm glad to have a Hardware store in town! Ace has a large inventory from which to purchase. Guns, ammo, fishing tackle, paint, plumbing, electrical, housewares, door and window accessories - cabinet knobs, garden supplies, lawn mowers etc etc etc. No matter how small the item I'm looking to buy the staff at Ace Hardware acts as if I'm the only customer they have. It's a little more expensive than buying online or at Walmart, but they are right here, right now with what I need. And again, the staff is amazing.

Very high prices ! Seems like we always hear small businesses complain about lack of patronage but dismiss that most people shop to get the most for their money. I bought some tarps but after finding a better grade tarp at Walmart for less than Ace's cheapest one, I returned to Ace for a refund !

Pretty darn good, very similar to other ace hardwares but usually have what I need and that’s what counts. There is free popcorn in the back while you shop, my kids love that.

Prices are high, but you can get what you need in a small, remote town. Worth the savings in gas and/or time. Helpful staff. I don't have a problem spending more to get something done now.
