The team at Timberline Patio Covers and Rock Electric helped to transform our backyard patio into a beautiful outdoor entertainment and living space. It started with a very thorough review of our architectural plans with the sales engineer (Skylar Owen) who guided us on the various aspects of their construction process. This included looking at other client projects which convinced me the company was qualified and competent. Once engaged, their professionalism really kicked into gear! Starting with the consistent communications I received on our project from Jesica (Jet) Garcia (Customer Care Manager) to the onsite project manager (Kyle Bannister). Their onsite foreman (Lucas Cook) took tremendous interest in every aspect of the construction process. Lucas’s enthusiasm for making our pavilion come to life was real and very much appreciated! On the Rock Electric side, their team came through by really listening to what we wanted to accomplish, both functionally and esthetically. Aaron Motter (Lead Journeyman) went out of his way to help review and implement a custom electrical and lighting program for our project. Brad Wood and Chris Hale (On site Foreman) executed the electrical plan with top notch professionalism. The end result is a beautiful and comfortable outdoor pavilion we look forward to entertaining our friends and family for many years to come!

The team at Timberline Patio Covers and Rock Electic helped us bring our dream outdoor living space to life! Initially it didn't look like the project would ever take off, but they worked extremely hard with the city to get my project design approved. We added a much larger composite 2 tiered deck with a cover, outdoor kitchen and fire pit area.

Mario P. was a fantastic project manager, if you are lucky enough to work with him on your project you'll understand why. He is so thorough, detail oriented and was very patient and responsive to all of our questions/concerns along the way. He always took the time to hear us and resolve any issues we ran into along the way and continues to do so now post completion. He's great at his profession and is even a better person!

He had an amazing team around him, Steve and Edwin did an incredible job installing our custom Azenco cover (awesome louvered cover system) that butted up against our house. There were some tweaks that had to be made along the way, but they were able to problem solve to truly make it one of a kind!

Teagan with Rock Electric also did an incredible job, he had a sizeable task of installing 4 large Bromic heaters as well as running power and lighting to our Azenco cover and outdoor kitchen. He masterfully hid all the control boxes in an existing stucco pillar, which are located a good 125ft from our electrical panel in the gargage!

Highly recommend the entire team at Timberline Patio Covers, so do yourself a favor and at least have them come out and give you an estimate. They likely won't be the cheapest price wise, but their quailty and craftsmanship are worth it!!

Timberline took on complicated completion of an existing hip roof frame that needed to have an acrylic cover installed. For many reasons we did not want the actual completed frame system changed. They took on this challenge and we could not be happier with the outcome. Kyle, Lucas, Collin, Boyle, and Cole were flexible, professional, and communicative. They were receptive to any feedback from us...even down to the last day when we asked to have extra caulking added. I will be recommending this company to anyone in need of a patio cover for sure!

Timberline installed a deck cover with insulated panels for us. We are pleased with the new outdoor space we have, and look forward to enjoying it this summer, and many more years to come.

Evan A was the Marketing person who introduced us to this company. He was thorough in his presentation of the company profile and all the options available for our choice. He patiently responded to our many questions, and promptly responded with an email or phone call. After we made a decision, he outlined what the next steps would be, and the approximate timeline for project completion.

The project was then turned over to another team. We dealt with Ryan Q a lot. His role was as a Project Coordinator and Scheduler. We relied heavily on him to tell us what was going on, and what the project status was. He was also the liaison with the vendors to ensure timing of materials delivery.

Dave T and Josh L were the installers. Dave, as the Foreman, met with us first so he could check out the construction site, and review the design specifications with us. He and Josh started work early each day, and worked fast and hard in spite of the extreme heat during their couple workdays. They paid attention to the smallest detail, making sure everything was safe and secure. They left the construction area clean.

The main communication with the team was through Buildertrend’s online Daily Log. We found that communication was easier, faster, clearer when we were able to talk with any of the team members by phone.

We highly recommend Timberline for anyone’s outdoor space and cover projects.

I have been remoding my house for a few years now. I have workind with a lot of contractors. This company is by for the easiest and most professional I have worked with. Kyle and Jake were awesome. They were able to figure out how to add flashing between the roof and the patio cover. It took some time and Im so appreciative that they accomplished it. During the install. they're was some damaged to one of my pavers. I let Ryan know and he had someone out same day to make the repairs. I will definitely recomend Timberland Patio Covers to family and friends.

Our experience working with Timberline Patio Covers was TOP-NOTCH from start to finish and we would 100% recommend them! We've been planning for this covered space for quite a long time and choosing the right builder was so very important. I know there are many people behind the scenes keeping things running, but I want to give a shout out to Mario, who managed our project. He's no-nonsense, easy to communicate with, and we had TOTAL confidence in him running our project.
When it comes down to the actual build and having crew on your property day after day, there's no one we would want other than Jack and Jeremiah! They were always here when they said they would be and were very gracious with me and all of my questions. :) The whole process was fascinating and I enjoyed knowing what they were doing and watching it come together- and they were so kind to share with me. Lastly, I want to mention Timberline's use of their on-line portal for project communication. At first I thought it was going to be cumbersome, but it was brilliant. We've worked with OTHER contractors who either don't communicate or don't follow through and that makes it incredibly difficult to follow along with your project or even get responses on queries. With Timberline's portal, every question was answered, every day's accomplishments were noted, and the timeline was clear- and because of that, we never felt out-of-the-loop.

We just completed our backyard patio with the Amazing team from Timberline this 12/1/23. Although the process was long due to permitting process in our vicinity. Timberline Patio Covers did a great job building our deck and Patio cover, complete with a gabled roof, gas fireplace, lighting, and built-in space heaters. This is now our favorite place in the house to spend time as a family. We ate almost every summer meal on our deck, and now that we have entered fall time, we watch football under the patio cover while the kids run around the backyard.

The team from Timberline did a great job on the project. The process was very smooth. The planning process along with permitting takes a long time, but they take care of the whole thing for you, and you can rest assured that it is getting done correctly. Timberline was actually able to start building over a month early, and finished exactly when the construction scheduled predicted. Which meant we were able to enjoy the patio the entire summer. Mario from Timberline led the construction process. We were very happy with the job he did and his level of attention to detail. Communication during the process was always good, both through on site, phone calls & texting, and through BuilderTrend. Jake and Eli, who the primary on-site members did a great job and we were very happy with their work. They are hard workers and were always very respectful to our family and engaging with our kids when they had questions. My boys were always excited to see them in the mornings.

The price of the project wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. When we were searching for contracting companies to build us a deck and patio cover, we wanted the project done right and completed to the highest standards. And that's why we chose to go with Timberline Patio Covers and we are happy we did.

Our project was to put a covered structure over our deck adding about 600 square feet of outdoor living space. We did a lot of research into reputable companies and Timberline was on the top of that list. The project was completed during the pandemic and took around 15 months from soup to nuts, with actual construction completed in about 6 weeks. From initial design, through permitting and construction was extremely well organized and communication was great throughout. Clayton, Jeremiah, Kyle and all the others were fantastic to work with. We recommend them often to our friends when they comment on how fabulous the space is. We love it.

Timberline Review

We had an amazing experience working with Timberline Patios. They designed a 500sqft addition to our already existing covered patio and it is simply amazing.
We first met with Skylar who was extremely knowledgeable about the design process as well as offering his take on different styles and what would work for our area. We are still working with him on completing the outdoor kitchen to go with our new patio!
After the deigns were submitted to the city, we met with Mario who came to our house almost weekly to walk the project and ensure it was up to our standards, which it always was! Something I really appreciated about Mario was his opinion regarding the concrete pad which Timberline doesn’t do. He referred us to Casey who did an awesome job with our stamped concrete. They then worked together to make sure the concrete and patio were both up to our standards.
Jake and Eli were the primary builders for our project with Kyle coming in for the last week or so. I could not recommend Jake and Eli more. They worked so fast and hard to get this project done before our newborn arrived while still maintaining their high standards. They were very communicative about their progress. I really appreciated how clean they were too, especially with a toddler that liked to wander the construction area. Kyle was great when he came in to finish the post wraps and trim work. His attention to detail was suburb.
I would recommend Timberline to anyone looking to build or expand an outdoor living area. They are top notch and I can’t wait to continue to work with them through our kitchen design and build!

Kyle Bannister and team did a phenomenal job on our backyard project. Initially, we had commissioned Timberline to build a large outdoor structure but ended up adding on an outdoor bathroom/shower and storage room. The team was organized, and project managed the whole thing transparently. We loved the regular updates on BuilderTrend, the online project management tool that they use. They were always pleasant and courteous on site and responsive to any questions we had. The quality was excellent and there was no nickeling and diming for things we were not happy with. I would recommend Timberline in a heartbeat. Thank you for building a place that we will be forming memories in for years (if not decades)!

Timberline did a fantastic job with our outdoor covered patio. In all phases, everyone on the team did a wonderful job guiding us through the process, offering options and handling any hiccups along the way. We had a wonderful experience with Timberline Patio Covers. They built a tall deck on our property featuring a roof with installed skylights, heaters, ceiling fan, and recessed lights, a staircase, and a great railing. Our project manager Kyle B. and his colleague Jessie made sure all of the contractors were scheduled so that there weren't any major delays once construction began. The project lead Boris and his crew Colin, Kyle W., and Jeremiah did such a great job with the construction. Their attention to detail and obvious pride in their work really made a difference to the final product. We couldn't be more pleased. They kept us informed the entire way and were always patient with our questions. They kept the job site clean and were friendly with our curious kids. They showed up on time every day and worked until they finished whatever was on the agenda for the day. Because of their effort and dedication, it is the best room in our house. The work by Rock Electric (Seth, Eli, Aaron, Chris H., and Angel) looks great, and they were also very communicative and made sure that we got exactly what we wanted. The same can be said with the crew from Rescom railing - Christian and Jacob - they made sure the final product met our expectations and didn't go over budget. Really happy that we chose to work with this contractor!

Outdoor BBQ grill island demolition and construction - Rob and his team did an outstanding job of demolishing the old one and constructing a new outdoor BBQ grill island. The TPC team is very friendly, prompt, respectful and professional; willing and able to take my inputs through out the project. I am very delighted with the final outcome. I would highly recommend TPC to anyone looking to hire for home projects.

Were great to work with from permit process, to getting all the necessary documents, the install and completion, Crew was thorough and let us know plans for each day as well as sending end of day reports. We are are thrilled with our new patio cover and are so happy we chose Timberline Patio Covers for our project! We've been in our home for 26 years and have tried patio umbrellas, fixed retractable awnings, portable awnings, etc., trying to get more use out of our modest patio space, but it was always too cold/wet in the fall and winter or too sunny/hot in the summer for us to spend any notable time out there.

Timberline was very responsive and professional throughout the project, from our initial online appointment, on site estimate, design phase, pre-construction meeting, and final close out. Tyler, Tony, Jessica, Robert, and our ace builder Jeff were all exceptional and were in constant communication with us. Their construction management app (accessed through any web browser or using a phone app) was easy to use and was a great way to manage communications, schedule, progress, and payments. Best of all, our patio cover is of excellent quality, was completed ahead of schedule, and has transformed our backyard into what we always wanted it to be!

Timberline recently built our gorgeous patio cover and we were very pleased with their focus on quality, professionalism and attention to detail. The final result is stunning. Across the board, the team worked together to deliver framing, masonry, electric, gas, beautiful carpentry, and more.

From the start, our sales person, Jeff was instrumental in capturing our vision. At kickoff, we were pleased to work with Tony to scope out and make plans for the project - we appreciated his knowledge and expertise. We contracted with Timberline to convert our front deck and master bedroom deck into a covered front porch. This involved a lot of planning and coordination which Timberline handled incredibly well considering the supply chain issues during the pandemic and design changes that inevitably happen when remodeling a house. We are very happy with the end product which is incredibly well designed and built. The onsite crew was always professional and actually helped us manage some other crews that were on our site working on landscaping at the same time. We can whole heartedly recommend Timberline for your construction projects.

Timberline Patio Covers is one of the best companies we've ever worked with. The quality and level of craftmanship they produce on their projects sets the bar to any other Patio Deck company in Washington and abroad, hands down. We booked our project during the pandemic which made us nervous because of how the industry was so impacted but they we assured us our deck project would start by a certain time and they delivered and kept communication the whole way through which is extremely important with this type of investment. From start of securing building permits to the completion any questions or concerns we had (which were very few) were always addressed. The project manager and assistants were always kind, patient and professional even on their busiest days. We now have a beautiful covered Deck that we can use year round!

Not to mention the value it added to our home. We're so grateful to the Timberline Patio crew for the commitment to great customer services and quality.

The honest truth is that I don't have a single complaint about Timberline. It was a great experience from day one when I met Dave Hull.We went over all of the preliminary stuff, and that's when things got moving.
After permits were approved, Tony Mitchell came out for a pre-con meeting. We went over items in the contract to make sure that everything was going as planned. Tony was always responsive when I called him with questions.
Then the main team showed up to get started, Mario (Poppo), and Kyle (The Professor). They were always on time and worked so well together as a team. They put up my patio cover in one week. That's the main structure. Of course there was much more to this project, such as one free standing deck around a big swim spa, and another deck attached to the house with a grand staircase. They get along so well. The amount of work they get done in a day is simply amazing, and it is done to perfection! I enjoyed having them out here. Mario was great at communication, which is key when you are constantly making changes. I added so much more to this project as time went on. Mario would send me a change order, and of course a cost increase that I found very fair. That's on me! I can't say enough about the quality of work. It is absolutely beautiful!
The guys from Rock Electric, Eli, Seth, Don, Thomas, and Ace were a pleasure also. They worked so well together and busted out a ton of work in short order.
The final install were the railings. Hunter and Edwin did an amazing job. The rails are beautiful and heavy duty. They turned out perfect and look awesome.
The experience with Timberline was great. All of the guys on this project got along well and seemed very happy in there job. I didn't witness a single negative thing or see a bad attitude.
My advice to future customers is to have open communication and expect to make some changes that are going to cost you a little more. Pick the minds of the guys working on your project and ask them if they have any ideas. They've built many of these projects. I added a lot of electrical when Seth and Eli shared their ideas with me when I asked them. Poppo and the Professor also had great ideas. We used Timberline to build for us a replacement roofed cover for an outdoor kitchen and an accessory building for use as a greenhouse and for storage, and we are very happy that we did. Ours was a fairly complicated project, requiring creativity in the design process and thoughtful implementation. Every aspect of it was handled with exceptional professionalism by Timberline. Its design was better than what we had in mind. The people that Timberline assigned to our project - Mario (lead), Kyle, Azaryah and their colleagues - couldn't have been better. And the final product is just superb. We ended up with a first-rate outdoor area that we'll be enjoying for many years to come.

This review is horribly late as our construction ended 6 months ago. We had a deck and gable installed on our home. Ford, Aaron and Kyle were absolutely fantastic. The entire company is EXTREMELY well organized and we were kept up the entire job timeline. (even included daily pictures). I cannot stress enough how fantastic this company is if you are looking tor any sort of remodel. They are the only company we will use in the future.
The bid was professionally done outlining cost and the plans. Work started and finished on time. They were not the cheapest but they were the best by far. They pay their employees well so they stay. They pay their suppliers on time (I asked) so they deliver on time. If you want a turnkey no worry and absolutely stunning job done...these are your folks. I cannot stress this enough.

Highly recommend Timberline. We worked with Brett and then Tony on putting in a outdoor patio kitchen with retaining walls, beautiful stone work, and high end appliances through LUWA. While the supply chain delayed the project at times, they always kept us informed and top of mind. At the end of the project they followed up with us a number of times to ensure everything was working properly. We are very happy with the end results.

I hired Timberline based on their reviews and portfolio. I knew they were going to be expensive but quality is incredibly important to me.

Pros:
1. The team is great. All were positive, nice, responsive, respectful, hard working, thorough.They fielded all calls and questions immediately. They were respectful, empathetic, and understanding throughout the entire process. I have experience this level of service during the sales stage and an evil alter ego once the job starts. Not with this team.
2. Planning & Design - The early designs and renders set expectations clearly. They came up with beautiful designs that met my requirements and my HOAs. Top notch.
3. Execution - The details matter and they have clear experience building great looking patio covers.
4. They will handle the permitting and inspection processes for you. Huge stress relief.

Cons:
1. Cost - I know I said at the start that I knew they were expensive, but expect change orders and additional costs. My project was uniquely mine and am not trying to pass on assumptions that yours will go through a similar change order creep process. Consider sourcing as much as you can yourself to avoid markups.
2. Finish - It was never discussed but I assumed the finishing touches would be handled by the crew. Especially with the costs. Final staining, painting, and caulking was my responsibility. At the cost it should be rolled into the job.
3. There were a various cuts that were cut roughly and not precisely. Wood splintering that wasn't sanded smooth or a couple examples of cuts made for inset lighting that were made too large. This left exposed gaps after lights were installed. VERY SMALL problems overall but when you are paying well over 60k for a patio cover I expect finish carpentry levels of execution. Overall the work is sound but there is always room for improvement :).
4. Project timeline - It took around 1.5 years for the project to start. Prices were estimated based on the time we booked the job. That means you could be overpaying or underpaying for your wood. I ended up overpaying for the price of wood since I booked the job during a supply issue. All things to keep in mind when booking your gig. Don't expect the job to start within a couple months.

Would I recommend them to others?
Absolutely! And, I already have ;).

Just finished our patio cover built into house. Mario and crew did a fantastic job with expected top tier quality to the build. It took us 9-10 months to get permitted but once construction started it moved ahead with steady pace. We love the final product and would highly recommend this team!

We hired Timberline to build our covered patio structure, and we are more than pleased with the result! Kyle Bannister was the amazing project manager who led us from beginning to end, super professionally, and always timely in answering any and all questions we had. Anything that we believed required changes/updates/edits, Kyle would call to understand, propose, and immediately had his team act on it. Ford was the main guy who helped build the structure and was amazing as well. The structure is amazing, and we have been enjoying it every day. The team added lights, speakers, heaters, TV, and basically made it our most enjoyable area of our home these days. Thank you Kyle and team, we cannot recommend Timberline enough. Over the years I've worked with many different contractors but my project with Timberline was by far the most satisfying experience I've had. From project design, planning, installation, and follow-up, there was never a question of what was happening or when from materials delivery, daily project updates, daily progress photos, payment methods, etc. their online project management tools were a easy to use, & no detail left out.

Every person I dealt with throughout the process from project pre-sales, build-up, & completion was courteous, flexible, & professional. The final project ended up looking like it was part of the original house build, not some add-on that looked like "an add-on". The product exceeded my expectations & I'm pretty picky.

In today's environment & past experiences, it was a refreshing change. I can't recommend them enough to anyone contemplating a patio project big or small. (Note: in photos, owner painting is not 100% complete nor staining of tongue & groove roof ceiling)

After meeting with Struxure and another contractor we came across Timberline online. We are so grateful for all their work and willingness to come to Olympia which is normally outside their vicinity. Previous home projects have always been so stressful so we were reluctant to take on our biggest project yet given pandemic-related delays and costs. Interestingly enough the cost to build with Timberline is actually cheaper than what it would have been with Struxure AND we have more of a guarantee against roof leaks. From our initial zoom meeting with Robert the sales manager to the final inspection the process has been almost too good to be true. We love the Buildertrend app because every single correspondence is documented in addition to everything else related to the project including invoices and a calendar schedule. They are an extremely organized and professional company who value customer service. They promptly respond to all phone calls/emails. Special shout-out to Shaun and Eli for building us a patio cover more beautiful than we could have imagined during the hottest part of the summer! Also Seth and Don from Rock Electric installed our ceiling fan, infrared heaters, and all lighting and did a nice job despite some delays. In addition Brett and Tony have been generous with their time providing info on where to obtain privacy/weather screens (this was after final inspection). The only thing the company did not manage was painting the patio cover (required or warranty is voided) because we are outside of their vicinity (but they did provide one recommendation). We give the highest recommendation to Timberline because they deserve it.

This is my second project with Timberline. The first was a covered patio, with outdoor kitchen and fireplace and two years later we are still loving it. This was a much smaller project, a deck and concrete pier for astrophotography, but despite being smaller they still brought their same no-compromise approach to deliver an exceptional final product. This was a bit outside of their normal work, but they were up for the challenge and super accommodating of my requirements to ensure the deck was completely isolated from the concrete pier to eliminate vibration transfer to the telescope.

Their team are all highly skilled professionals and I’d absolutely use them again for my next project and recommend them without hesitation.

They were very professional with exceptional craftsmanship, and the quality of work they produced are as advertised. We've dealt with so many contractors in the past who failed to deliver per contract or as promised, or that the end product was poorly produced or that it would quickly fall apart. This made us very cautious in dealing with any contractors for our project needs. However, Timberline Patio Covers was an exception, and they definitely have met and exceeded our expectations. From the sales team (Tim), who made great down to earth impression and persuaded us to give them a chance, to permitting, engineering, and electrical departments, through their due diligent, all were an integral part in the successful execution of the project from beginning to the end.

Brett was an excellent project manager who listened to what we wanted and how we envisioned our patio deck to be and didn't hesitate to deliver it to our satisfaction. His crews, Mario & Kyle had great attention to details, and built precisely to the engineering blueprints. They were very informative, kind, and respectful. They always asked for our inputs before proceeding in each phase of the project. The project was built and delivered as scheduled. After choosing Timberline construction, because of the care and professionalism shown by Jeff Snider we did a walk through with Brett Kunnari the construction foreman, who explained the process in detail with us and also identified things they we can add to the existing contract, his knowledge and professionalism were in my opinion outstanding.
Next we meet Mario Poposki and Kyle Woodward I was very impressed with their professionalism.
I really need to explain how comforting it is to know that I was in the hands of these two pros, i feel that me and my Wife Vicki we given the A team for my project.
Through every step of this project the we’re so very hard working, when I would go out and ask any question that I had, the answered it in a way that you just new they new exactly what they were doing every step of the way.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate their workmanship, attention to detail, quality and knowledge they are in my opinion the best.
The structure will finish in a couple of days, then after the pavers are installed, they will work on the outdoor kitchen and Fireplace.
Just to sum it all up What a great experience I am having and am so glad we picked Timberline construction to build a outdoor living space that I will be using the rest of our lives.

We had Timberline build an outdoor covered structure in our backyard. I would highly recommend them! It’s beautiful and they were very professional. Good communication, great team. Engineering is robust and high quality.

I want to start out saying, this is not a paid review. I rarely take the time to leave reviews since there are so many fake ones out there, but Timberline deserves this review because they were beyond stellar.

From the start of the project, the team was incredibly punctual, professional, and courteous. They constantly took extra time to ensure that our property was protected and that our new deck (which they were installing a patio cover over) would not be damaged. The PM (Brett) was fantastic at communicating things through the entire process. He consistently checked in through the entire build, and was on site several times for quality assurance. The two guys who actually did the work (Mario and Kyle) were incredible, and i don't say that lightly. Both of them constantly took the extra time to ensure that everything was absolutely perfect. At one point I was talking with them about their work ethic and how much I appreciated what they were doing, and they both said that every time they build one of these, they try to make it better than the last time. There were several times they would do something, then take a step back and look at it, then go back and make a small change, and do it again until they felt that it was perfect. That is the type of group I want working on my home.

They also have their own electricians (Rock Electric) and painters that they work with consistently, so the hand-offs as the project progressed were completely seamless. We have seen a project like this with several people in our community, take months and drag on forever because of delays, botched hand-offs, scheduling mistakes, etc. Our schedule was given to us up front and they hit (or exceeded) every single date and completed exactly when they said they would. Let me tell you, that alone is worth using Timberline....

Their app (BuilderTrend) was updated daily with progress, notes, pictures and any comments they had from the day. Every day they cleaned up their equipment and left the job site in a great state.

We cannot recommend Timberline more. We have already shared their information with the entire Snoqualmie community through social media, so get going on booking these guys because otherwise you just might miss out on the absolute best there is.

TImberline Patio Covers did a fantastic job with our covered patio addition. They were the ultimate professionals to work with and the final project was beyond what we had hoped for. We use the patio every day (rain or shine)! All the subs were fantastic and Tony and Brett from TPC were amazing. Highly recommend.

We love our Timberline Patio Cover, patio and outdoor fireplace. Brett and Kyle were great to work with on a daily basis. The process was LONG for us, getting a permit from the City of Sammamish the biggest hurdle but Timberline had someone to get us through that process. The design process was great, they walked us through different options and what they recommended. Timberline provided ongoing updates on their work and schedule. They were clean, picking up any debris often. Any contractors were managed by Timberline and everyone we worked with I would recommend. Overall we are happy with the end product and everyone we worked with.

Timberline did a great job adding a Patio Cover to our home. From our first preconstruction meeting they instilled confidence that it would be done right, and they did. Ryan the lead contractor built our addition with the same attention to detail and craftmanship that he would have used in building one at his own home, including doing items that weren't in the spec, but were needed to do the job perfectly. Brett Kunnari, the Project Manager was outstanding in keeping the project on schedule and keeping us informed. He also went above and beyond to ensure our project was done right, on time and on budget. In my world, that is the highest recommendation I can offer.

We just had Timberline Patio Covers build us a carport and it is beautiful! They helped us through the entire process and were able to match our older roof shingles perfectly. It looks really nice. We would hire them again.

Lucas and his team did a great job with our deck. He communicated well through out the project and had great attention to detail. The end result is deck that is a blessing that we have been enjoying when we entertain our family and friends.

The first contractor we contacted actually referred us to Timberline due to the size and complexity of the job. I had some rough drawings I had made using free 3D drawing software. I showed them my ideas in December (You'll see the concept drawings in the photos), we discussed materials, components, and pricing throughout January, and signed a contract in late January.

They prepared architectural drawings in February and the engineering in March. By April we were in Permitting with the city and broke ground in late May.

They knew we were planning a big party for Mid August so they worked feverishly to get it all done in time. Tony was our project manager and was great with communication. Lucas was our construction lead and Matt his assistant, and they both were great to have on the job, and they kept us updated daily with what they were working on and what was coming next.

I was also impressed with their choice of contractors for the gas, electric, masonry, and painting, all did high quality work and were very professional, courteous, and respectful of our home and our neighbors.

Throughout the project Tony (Project Manager) had great ideas on how we could improve things, and they were always very responsive to our wishes, working very hard to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted.

For as much of an ordeal as it can be to have people working at your house for four months, they made it as painless and as stress free as possible. There we no major issues or concerns, and even the minor stuff was typically cleared up in one email or phone call. I can't imagine having a better experience.

And the final result is absolutely amazing! We are on the patio every day and throughout the weekends, watching football, cooking, and enjoying hosting friends and family. It's made such a huge impact on our quality of life. I only wish we had done this sooner.

The scope of the work was a 16x30 covered patio, plus pavers along the front and side, and a separate paver and fire pit area. The patio has 4 skylights, a ceiling fan, 12 recessed can lights, four 4Kw heaters, a 36-inch gas fireplace, 36-inch Hestan grill and dual side burners, Bose speakers, and a 70-inch Skyvue outdoor TV. The counter tops are granite, and the kitchen, built-in seating, and fireplace are covered in natural stone. The seating is topped with natural blue stone and has built-in storage areas underneath. The flooring is Mbrico porcelain tile and it is amazing! We've already had things like grease and even a bit of paint spill on to it, but everything just wipes up effortlessly with a little shot of Formula 409 and a paper towel. It's expensive, but if you want zero maintenance flooring that will last a lifetime, this is the stuff to get.

I can't speak highly enough of Timberline patio covers and their entire team. If you are looking for top quality work, you won't be disappointed.

I am writing this assessment based on design, construction, and finish of our project, without consideration of schedule.

Scope of Project: Gable style roof cover attached to house over existing backyard deck, footprint of 26’ x 18’. Metal panel roofing with 4 skylights. Ceiling of stained tongue-and-groove pine. Modified Timbertech (composite) decking and new bench construction. Addition of a kitchen counter with built-in natural gas grill with matching cabinets and drawers. Electrical includes: recessed ceiling lights, two 6KW electrical heaters, hanging ceiling fan, low voltage accent lighting.

Assessment: Based on our experience with 8 major house remodel projects and another half dozen landscape projects (decks, fences, outdoor kitchens and pool construction) we rate the quality of the Timberline work as exceptionally high. The design for our patio cover project was done by a Timberline-selected civil and structural engineering company, with drawings and accompanying structural calculations for stresses and loads. This design work was complete and excellent in detail. Timberline was very helpful in gaining the building permit from our city, this required extra effort and documentation to address the local code for surface water permeability. Kyle Bannister was our project manager – he was outstanding as a communicator, had excellent listening skills, was always ready to answer questions and offer insights into the details of the project. He is a master at construction and takes ownership for his work and the work of his team – it shows in the resultant quality, which has been repeatedly noticed and commented on by neighbors and friends. Kyle orchestrated all aspects of the project with other subcontractors and inspectors. He kept us informed about the schedule of activities, and he kept a collection of photos to document progress and show construction details that would later be covered by siding panels.

Regarding schedule, we observed the same results as are common with other projects where construction material deliveries and hand-offs to other subcontractors introduce time gaps. We did not wait long for inspectors. We have learned to be flexible with contractors, and we employed flexibility on this project.

Bottom line – we are very satisfied with the work done by Timberline, and we feel we received high value for the cost of the project.

Timberline did a great job. Everything was in budget, great project manager (Tony) and we are using out patio cover, fire table, grill and heaters many times a week! We even had the neighborhood over for smores in the snow.

From the first time I contacted Timberline to the last final detail the guys were outstanding! Completely knowledgeable, upfront and honest in all business and technical aspects. The teams of carpenters and electricians were polite, professional, dedicated, extremely well skilled and hard working. The sales, permitting and office staff were professional and efficient.
