Jeff and his employees have done several different roofs for us over the last 10 years. We have always been overly impressed with him and never had any issues with him or his work. His bids are generally half, if not less, than anyone else. If you’re looking to scam your insurance company- he probably isn’t the guy to go to, because he is an honest man. There have been times we have had him check roofs on our properties and he has told us they really don’t look bad/need replaced unless we have further issues. What other roofing company would say that? We very much trust his judgement. My guess is that is where all the poor reviews are coming from- people wanting new roofs that aren’t truly necessary. If you genuinely need a new roof Jeff will do an amazing job. I would encourage these people to include a photo of their invoice to prove authenticity to these claims of even having jobs done. I will never hesitate to recommend him to our friends and family members!

I have had Thompson Roofing do several roofs and they have been amazing every time. Great workmanship, fair pricing, on-time installation-you can't ask for more. No wonder they've been in business for 70+ years.

From the bid to completion everything was done well. The yard was clean and job was done right. They even did the garage which wasn't part of the insurance claim. Local company that cares.

I am a local landlord with several properties. I luckily found Jeff and he has done at least 6-7 roofs for me including 3 this year. He is great! Has gone above and beyond for me over the past 15 years years.

Listen, I have no idea where the negative reviews of Thompson Roofing have come from on Google!?! If you want a more accurate assessment of Thompson roofing please look to Angie's List where they have a 5/5 rating with 39 VERIFIED reviews. Jeff Thompson and Thompson Roofing (the original Thompson Roofing in Omaha- not to be confused with the others as I suspect they may have been in several of these reviews) is the most professional, highest quality, most reasonably and fair priced Roofing company in the area. It's a shame that more of Jeff's customers haven't posted of their great experiences.
Thompson Roofing came incredibly highly recommended by several people that I trust and Thompson Roofing only exceeded my already high expectations with the quality of work they did for our family. Jeff also repaired the roof on our church and insulated the attic portion of a new addition on our company. He also did a roof for my brother and in EVERY case Jeff's work was amazing, his customer service was unequaled, and his bill by far the most affordable of anything we had quoted. Don't believe the negative reviews on here- they're garbage. I'll stake my own reputation on the quality of work you'll receive when you hire Thompson Roofing!!!

Horrible company for roofing. The owner (Jeff Thompson) does not back his work. Does just the basics and when your roof starts leaking, this company doesn't stand behind their work. Excuse after excuse. A new roof leaking???? Are you kidding me. I know others that have used them and have had similar issues. Stay away from them. The owner is correct, there are other companies that use the same name, but only 1 doesn't do quality work. This is them and stay away....

Thompson roofing replaced our roof in 2013. We are in the process of getting our roof replaced again now. The work was poorly done and with different materials than our contract described. They did not use rain and ice shield. We have had all sort of small leaks because of it. Buyer Beware. This is not a trustworthy company. We are so disappointed in there are such unethical companies in our community.

I think Thompson roofing put a hole in my neighbors roof when giving a bid so they could get the work of putting on a new roof. After they were hired by my neighbor, apparently they never came back when the roof started leaking a month later. The owner simply did not call back - ever. They do not stand behind their work. I would find another roofing company.

This company installed my neighbors roof and destroyed my property while working on it. Owner said basically it’s not his problem and didn’t even try to come up with an amicable solution. Unprofessional and well, not a good person overall it seems like. I would suggest finding a better roofing company to give your business as this one doesn’t care about your property values.
