Got our attic insulated a few weeks back and they did a fantastic job! Niko, the owner, came to our house himself to give us a quote and we were able to use a rebate from the city to go towards the service. Niko was always available for questions and I’m so happy we went with this company! 10/10 would highly recommend!

I cannot recommend this company enough. I contacted several companies, and many were priced way higher than Thermal Building Solutions. Others were priced similarly, almost impressively by how close they were. What made this company stand out was 1) their initial response time 2) their communication between appointments 3) the pace in which they completed the work 4) the level of detail given during a walk through. Many companies talked about filling the walls with 3 inches of foam, leaving a half inch for moisture or bugs to get into. This company stated they would over fill and cut the excess back for the best seal and result.

Another great selling point was Niko. He was all around professional. I made it pretty clear I had a budget that I had to work in, which would result in me needing to do the demo + ceiling myself. Where most other companies neglected that wish of mine and quoted those items anyways, Niko not only understood my budget but gave his field expertise on how to effectively do it without causing myself issues down the line.

Then, after the job was completed for over a month, there was an item that Niko and I had discussed that the inspector disagreed with. When I raised this Niko, he was here within a days time to correct it for us despite all payment obligations being fulfilled.

I've had to work with a lot of contractors, and a lot of the time it can be super stressful. Save yourself the stress and go with Niko and company for your job!

We used Thermal Building Solutions to add blown cellulose insulation into our attic space. They were prompt and professional and we would recommend them to anyone needing the same service.

Thermal Building Solutions added 12” of blown cellulose to our 1950’s ranch house. What a huge difference! We noticed a huge improvement in the overall comfort level. We are doing a bathroom remodel. Both Kyle and Niko have been incredible at helping me understand the insulation needs of our project. This included where spray foam insulation will be the best application and where blown-in insulation will provide the greatest insulating value. They also walked me through what will work best in my wall cavities versus in my attic/ceilings. They even showed how ventilation in my attic will lower my energy consumption by keeping the humidity consistent and my insulation dry. We recently had a home inspection done and needed someone to come out quickly to fix an issue with condensation around our ceiling fan electrical box in our master bedroom. Kyle came out, inspected the issue, and fixed it right on the spot within 10-15 minutes. I appreciated his transparency and professionalism throughout the entire experience. First impressions matter! Kyle was professional and knowledgeable. He listened to my specific problem with a uninsulated garage ceiling under the master suite. He offered a couple of options and set a time to meet with me to provide a quote. Locally owned with their own employees, no subcontractors.

Niko and his crew spray-foamed the inside of my garage; 24x24 w/ 14' ceiling. Great job overall- they showed up on time (for the estimate, for the main job, and for the followup I asked for) and the job was done with an eye to quality and customer satisfaction. Absolutely recommended; this is a company which is fully invested in customer satisfaction.

A 3000W electric heater is more than enough to take the chill off; I got >30*F temperature difference (outside vs. inside the garage) running the heater at 6000W for an hour, so the insulation is definitely insulating!

Solid crew and work. They removed all of my home’s ancient (1960’s) attic insulation as well as prepped and filled it with new insulation. I’m ready for winter, and have a much better insulated home.
