I was extremely pleased with the entire process from start to finish working with Neighborhood Roofing. The sales experience with Brian was no pressure, informative, and very helpful. Once I made the decision to go with Neighborhood, the office staff was so responsive to all my needs. They even provided me addresses of homes that had different color shingles so that I could get a sense of what I liked and what would look best on my home. Additionally, when I specifically asked for their opinions based on their years of experience, they readily shared them with me and those suggestions ended up being terrific. Prior to the install, the project manager came to my home to review a checklist of all the things that would occur on roofing day. Exactly as he had described, everything went exactly as he had said. The roofers did an excellent job of covering and protecting all my landscaping and cleaning the job the yard. Upon completion, one would never know anyone had been here, but I had a great looking new roof. I have since referred two different families to this company. The entire experience was really great and I can’t speak highly enough of them.

Neighborhood Roofing has been my go-to contractor for 30 years now. (I have owned three different homes in Ann Arbor over the decades). They have always been professional, and the quality of work is nothing but top-notch. I just had a completely new roof put on my home, including all boards, and their team, which includes sales, administration, project manager, and crew, was very courteous and respectful at all times. I highly recommend them if your end goal is to get work done on time, on budget, and done right the first time.

Neighborhood roofing has done multiple repairs for us, ranging from fixing a small tree branch puncture to replacing a whole roof section that was leaky and starting to rot. They always do really solid work for a reasonable price. The workers are polite and helpful. We will continue to go to them for roof work whenever we need it!

Had leak issues after heavy rainfall. Tom came out and found the issue, taking helpful pictures and thoughtfully explaining the issue to us. Him and his team carefully fixed the roofing around our chimney and we haven’t had a drop of water in the home since. We would highly recommend them for any roofing job!

We had Neighborhood Roofing replace our roof and six skylights just before the 4th of July and we are very satisfied with the result. Rob provided a very helpful review of our roofing situation and a solution that was practical and affordable without any unnecessary extras. There were weather issues and the office worked with us to shift days to start the project. The crew worked very hard installing the roof and skylights which took two days. There was a manager on site who answered my questions in detail. In all, the crew did an excellent job and thoroughly cleaned up afterward.

Tom and his team are honest, friendly, and efficient professionals. They explain everything about the job, options, potential uncertainties, and costs right up front. They do it right, they do it fast, and somehow they still keep the cost competitive. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Neighborhood Roofing just replaced my roof and other than the fact that I had to get a new roof – I could not be happier with the experience. I submitted a request for a quote on their website and within a day someone had contacted me to set up the appointment. While getting the quote, I was asked about any of my concerns, given information to help guide my decisions and walked through the process. I was in contact with various staff throughout the process and all were knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. They are very communicative, letting you know what to expect and when. Day of the actual roof work a crew of about a dozen came and got started and again someone went around with me to check on my concerns and go through how the day would go. Everyone worked at a good pace, they weren’t rushing, but since they had so many people the work went quickly. Afterwards, the roof looked great and they left things so clean, I only found one staple in the driveway. They had torn off most of my decking and I had seen plenty of plywood splinters while they were working – they cleaned up all of it. Very impressive. I highly recommend Neighborhood Roofing.

We were impressed with Neighborhood Roofing on many levels. Our sales rep Jeff was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the scope of the work, how the process would work, the staff who would take care of any questions or concerns, etc. Our project manager and the crew were all efficient and timely. One tiny oversight was corrected almost immediately. Our roof replacement wasn’t cheap, due to the improper installation of the previous roofer, but we felt we got our money’s worth, and now we a have a beautiful new roofer that is also safe and will last for decades.

After referring this company to my clients and friends for many years, it was an absolute pleasure working with them on the installation of our new roof. From the initial consultation with Jeff, scheduling with Cabrina, working with Steve on the project details, to Jamie and Chris on the install team all of them were top notch. Every step of the way the communication was clear and concise. Each person we spoke to did exactly what they said in the timeframe they estimated. The crew was here at 7:30am and got right to work, everything was done with a thorough clean up by 4pm the same day. I consulted with Tom Meadows of Neighborhood Roofing about an attic ventilation problem. Tom reviewed the options available to me, including the installation of extensive-- and expensive -- venting in the roof. But given the largely trouble-free condition of the attic, he ultimately recommended a very low-cost solution that would not involve his company at all. I appreciated his knowledge, experience, insight, and honesty, and I would not hesitate to use him if I did need attic or roofing work. My neighbors had recommended him to me -- for many of the same reasons -- and I would certainly recommend him to others.

Neighborhood Roofing replaced our roof and skylight. the process was so painless. The job was done quickly and beautifully when promised. It looks great and they were a pleasure to work with.

From beginning to end, everyone and everything was top notch. A+ My roof was 30 years old and water started to drip into my garage. While on the roof, the Sales Rep immediately identifies how the water is getting in, which was the roofing nails have worked themselves up. He explained I could simply caulk over the nails if I wanted an easy fix. Or they could replace the leaky section, or they could replace the whole roof. The Rep did a thorough inspection, including getting into the attic to see the underside of the plywood. That is great attention to detail and very professional. He took digital photos and did all the measurements electronically with his phone. He came back 2 days later, and we discussed options. He had a digital layout on his tablet and he showed photos of everything we discussed. These guys are doing roofing in the year 2025, using modern tools and technology. The other roofer I interviewed, I felt like he was still working in the 1970’s. I wanted full roof replacement. The Rep then explained the process of everything that will happen next. It was all explained and it went down exactly as he described. The office was nice, polite and professional. The Sales Rep was a “no pressure” guy, which is always nice. The work crew was 9 laborers, a crew chief and a Project Manager. That is an efficient way of doing business. One day, complete tear off and whole new roof. Price was great, work was great and management was great. I am very happy with Neighboorhood roofing. Five Stars.

Had a tree take the electrical mast off my house. After searching around and looking at reviews, I settled on calling Neighborhood Roofing. Tom and his crew were professional and courteous through the whole process and were very responsive. The work they did is excellent and the price was very reasonable. Very happy I decided to go with them.

First-rate experience from beginning to end. Crew arrived on time , worked non-stop and stayed late to get the entire roof and first clean-up done before any rain arrived. The final clean-up was meticulous. The roof looks great and the sealing work they did with insulation and flashing should prevent any leaking and critters from invading from any construction gaps. Just had Cristian and his crew out to fix a long-standing issue with a skylight. They were exceptionally compassionate and professional, left my home neat and tidy and most importantly protected! I had an awesome experience and would recommend them and a huge shout out to Rob for his help! Rob came out to provide a quote on a house I was looking to purchase that had some roofing concerns. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and super helpful in informing me of the issues on the house and what it would take to repair. Ultimately, I didn't end up going through with the purchase, but Rob really helped in that decision and for me to not get into something I wasn't ready for. Will definitely be coming back to them once I find the right home to purchase.

I hired Neighborhood to replace my roofing, because some neighbors reported satisfaction with their work. That Neighborhood's estimate came in lower than others was a big factor, of course, and I was pleased that they stuck with the estimate. The few additional charges were quoted as unit prices. Those charges turned out smaller than I expected and matched the work that I witnessed. The crews at my house performed professionally. I'm an old construction guy, and I know some people think that a construction foreman should be hollering at his/her people and making them run. What I saw at my house was the way I respect more; workers went about their varied duties calmly, with no shouting. It looked like no one was in a hurry, but no one was idle. The superintendent dropped by a couple times to check on things, but he didn't yell. By late afternoon they had everything cleaned up and left me a beautiful new roof.

Great team of guys showed up and installed a vent from my bathroom through the roof (previously venting into attic). It wasn't easy due to insulation but the team got the job done quickly and without compromising quality. I was very pleased and the price was pretty good too :)

I’ve never seen people work as efficiently as the crew that did our roofing. And they cleaned up so well at the end of every day that it looked as if no one had been there - spotless! I would highly recommend them for all your roofing needs.

Neighborhood Roofing put a new roof on my home and did an excellent job . I also asked them to add a vent for a future bathroom fan to be installed. Now, 2 years later, was happy to discover they added the vent pipe for hook up as well. That's quality care and service!

I had a localized area of rotting of the roof deck beneath the shingles where three different roof pitches came together at a complex trifurcation point where a "hot roof" met a standard porch roof. Steve, Tom and James came out from Neighborhood Roofing and did a great job identifying the root cause of the problem and then reconstructing the roof deck and replacing with new shingles. They also addressed the root cause which was most likely a flashing problem (from the original roof installation) that allowed water beneath the original shingles. They worked very hard all day long and did a great job from the beginning to the final cleanup. At one point, they found that they needed a thicker roof deck OSB 4x8 because our roof was decked with 3/4 inch OSB and so one of the crew went to the local lumber yard and got the right material rather than try to get by with what they had. The result was that they cut out all of the rotten wood and reconstructed the deck very professionally before finally placing the ice guard, flashing and new shingles. It was a great crew and we were very grateful for the great work they did. I watched them work all day and they did a really great job. I recommend them without reservation.

Did needed repairs quickly and correctly. Didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need. Gave me honest feedback on my 24-year old roof— saying that it still has a few years left in it.

The Neighborhood Roofing team is top notch, from professional and kind front desk to skilled roofers. The roofers installed new counter flashing to my brick chimney, repaired crack in masonry chimney cap and resealed chimney liner cap —and more! It looks great and I just have to trust that “the fix” is exactly what I needed to prevent anticipated water entry and damage. Bottom line, they were wonderful workers, and cleaned up beautifully when they they completed the job.

From the first contact until the finished project, everything was beyond my expectations. I can't say enough good things about dealing with Neighborhood Roofing. They went above and beyond regarding communication, explanations, and follow-up.

I called to have my roof inspected because when I bought the house the inspector told me I had at least 3-4 years until I needed to think about replacing it. Rob from Neighborhood Roofing just came out, and told me that the shingles look great, and the one thing that is starting to show wear is the coating between where the house roof meets the garage roof. He told me that I should have them come back in a couple of years to see if this small repair should be done then. But he assured me that my shingles have quite a few years left. What customer service!!! I could tell that he was experienced and knew what he was talking about. I will definitely have them out in a couple of years like Rob suggested, and when I do need shingles replaced, they will be the ones I call first!

The entire project was reviewed with me. The work was completed in one day. Every employee I had contact with was professional, courteous and pleasant. My yard was cleaned and no debris was present when they left. They did a superb job.

Great job from start to finish. Huge crew that did an excellent job preparing around the house to keep debris from hitting our house,windows, bushes and trees. They also took photos on their phone to place the objects they moved out of the way to the exact position they were in before.The crew also did a great job cleaning up after the roof was installed. Everything was picked up, checked and then checked again for roof nails and any debris. I would highly recommend them.

Tom and the team at Neighborhood Roofing did a great job on our total roof replacement in 2020. When we encountered a small problem with our kitchen remodel in 2024, Tom was on site within hours to implement a quick fix to resolved our leak even though it wasn't related to his team's work. Neighborhood came back a few weeks later to resolve issue related to remodel completely. I couldn't be more pleased with the work Tom's team did for us.

I had Neighborhood Roofing replace my roof while I was out of town for a family issue a little over a year ago. Everything went smoothly and the roof still looks great. The work crew left no sign that they had even been there except for the new roof.

Neighborhood Roofing evaluated my shingles and said I could wait at least two years for new shingles, but I needed to get rid of the moss on the ones under the overhanging tree branches. I hired an arborist to take off the branches and then the Neighborhood guys got the moss off the shingles and sprayed the rest with moss killer, all at a very reasonable price. I will have them look at the shingles in a couple of years to replace them if they think they need it by them. Saved me a lot of money this year. Thanks guys!

This was my second time working with Neighborhood Roofing .  They re-roofed my house in 2019. When a neighbor's tree knocked down my attached carport in 2023, the owner of Neighborhood Roof-Tom Meadows- came out to make sure the house roof was still watertight.   There was never any question, who would redo the carport roof.  I didn't think it was possible but they may have gotten even better.  The project manager Keith was onsite checking in numerous times during all phases of the project (installation of the rubber membrane, drip edge and gutters) . Alex and his crew are UNBELIEVABLE.  They work like a precision drill team.  It was a sight to behold.  From start to finish - a  thoroughly professional, efficient, and well executed job. Called this company to replace a couple bathroom vents. The gents who showed up were extremely professional, Christian (Chris) even found another spot that needed attention and took care of it for me. They were speedy and efficient and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. I also asked them to let me know how the overall shape of the roof was and if I needed to get a new roof and they were honest about telling me no that my current roof easily had a few more years at least. I mention that because they could have easily BS’d me but they were honest. Highly recommend this company for all your roofing needs.

I can't say enough about Neighborhood Roofing. The initial visit was extremely informative and provided more details than the other companies I met with. The roof looks wonderful. I had no idea how bad the wood was, it was good timing all around. My yard is one big flower bed and I had resigned myself to the fact that there would be some damage. Once the crew left, you would never know there had been any work done on the house! Oh, and did I mention they were done in half a day? I highly recommend this company. Also, great communication and transparency.

Neighborhood Roofing came out to look at a leak we were seeing around one of our windows. They identified a possible problem and quickly fixed the issue. Helpful and professional service, I would highly recommend.

Neighborhood Roofing was recommended by a handyman friend I trust, who says he always recommends them. His recommendation was entirely warranted as far as I can tell. I of course won’t know the ultimate quality of the roofing for quite some time, since I’ll only know if it’s bad if it starts to leak, and even a shoddy job likely wouldn’t leak immediately, but I have faith this job will hold up just fine. My contact with the person who came to provide information and options was professional, informative, and helpful, and answered any questions I had. There was no high pressure sales. The work was done on schedule. I left the house in the morning to eat breakfast out and then go read at the library for the day, since I knew there would be uncomfortable noise at the house as they worked. About 4:30 PM I came home, expecting ideally to find them finishing up - I was surprised to discover that they were completely done and gone, with everything cleaned up to the extent that I’d never have known they had been there were it not for the nice new roof. The gutters were installed about a month later, but I’ve been away and haven’t had a chance to see them yet.

Rob came out to our house and suggested that we needed carpentry not roofing or gutter repair. We really appreciated his candid assessment. Plus he wouldn’t accept any money for his thoughts and time.

I hired Neighborhood to replace the roof on my personal home. I'm a general contractor specializing in high-end residential remodeling and all I can say is that these guys are amazing. I recommend them without question!

They found structural problems with my roof trusses and fixed them instead of just covering them up. There were problem getting the right gutter guards, but they were determined to get it the way I wanted, and did. They are not the cheapest, but I think it’s because they do quality work and don’t cut corners. Everything looks great and I’m happy!

Ben was here. He inspected the roof and I am very impressed with his professionalism and how knowledgeable he is. I enjoyed have him explain what cold have been the issues and addressed them to my satisfaction. I will definitely will call Neighborhood roofing again.

Recently had our roof and gutters redone by Neighborhood Roofing. We had a great experience. Estimates were clear. Scheduling was easy. The job was done all in one day with minimal disruption. They followed up with us after the job with a couple of small questions. Really happy with how everything turned out!

We had neighborhood out to our house a few weeks ago for an estimate and were incredibly impressed by how thorough of a job they did! We received an extremely detailed estimate and it was clear that our inspector was incredibly knowledgeable. Though we did not end up going with Neighborhood for our roof we know they would have done excellent work. The price was slightly out of our budget but we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else looking for a new roof!

Neighborhood replaced our roof in the summer of 2024. The communication from Neighborhood was very good as we walked through the process. Generally, there were no surprises. Marvin's crew did a great job getting the job done in one day and went above and beyond on making sure the gutters were functioning properly.

Ultimately, we decided to go with another company, but not for a lack of effort and customer service from Brian. He was cordial, informative, and even willing to temporarily cover a small hole in our roof. We are glad that we reached out to Neighborhood and believe that we would have been happy with several options for our project.

What is written after this was my original review of Neighborhood Roofing. This is this past summer’s review. I had a tree branch puncture the roof of my family room. Didn’t know it until a few drips formed on my ceiling. That meant that water had totally dampened my family room ceiling drywall. Saw the drips at 4:30 on a Thursday afternoon. Neighborhood Roofing was at my home early Friday afternoon and did a temporary repair job right then and there. Reminded me to contact my insurance company and as soon as they were able, Neighborhood Roofing did the permanent repair to my roof. Again, punctual, friendly, efficient, respectful, and the highest quality work! I would never have any roofing work done by any company other than Neighborhood Roofing!! I can’t recommend highly enough the services of Neighborhood Roofing . Everyone with whom I worked was concerned about my home and about my needs. Neighborhood Roofing asked to see inside my attic to be sure there was no mold; the only company I spoke with to make such a request! When my home was built, the bathroom fan was vented into the attic, not through the roof and there was mold. Many of my roofing panels needed to be replaced. That would not have been known by any other company because the panel damage was not seen from outside the house and no other company that gave me an estimate asked to see inside my attic. Neighborhood Roofing vented that fan properly, replaced panels with mold, and re-shingled my roof. They made sure my vented soffits were insulation free and they also also installed gutter guards. They were on time, efficient, and very professional. Their cleanup was phenomenal! I would not consider any other company for roof work. Neighborhood Roofing is the best!
