June 0f 2024 I had Mr. Roof to do a total rip off of the old roof and install all new roofing which was supposed to take one day and here in July of 2025 it's still a nightmare. The sell person who sold me the roof gave me a totally different impression of the company, but boy did I learn the truth after the installation. During the installation the installers cut a main electrical line leaving me without electric power in my family room, master bedroom and garage. This occurred during the rip off of the new roof, when I advised the supervisor he had no solution, so I call the main office and requested a higher authority who was Mr. Starr VP of Mr. Roof. To make a long story short, Mr. Starr had family issues dealing with a death in his family which prolonged the handling and no one from Mr. Roof came out to review the problem and I was left stuck. I am a contractor so, I decide to fix the electric myself which was a total rewire which included plastering and painting (see pictures). After the install was completed, I had other issues, ripped siding and nails right through the face of the siding from where the installers pulled the siding back in order to install the flashing, totally botching the job. After days waiting for a solution all they were going to give me for the electrical problem was $1,000.00 but the damage was much more severe and $1,000.00 was an insult. At this point I just wanted them out of my house and my life. Mr. Starr sent someone out to repair the siding he was a nice guy and his work was good and satisfying, and I thought I was done with them oh on, the first heavy rain I noticed my skylight was leaking and again I called and someone came out, a very lazy trouble shooter who claimed my sky lights was old and needed replacing and they would cost me $2,000.00 each, they never leaked before not until they came. This lazy troubleshooter put a little silicone on the glass and left. It leaked again and I called again, the lazy guy returned, I explained to this guy that I watched them take the skylight apart to install flashing, and he was on defense saying that they did not take it apart, I dismissed him and asked him to leave, I could tell he was not here to help or satisfy a customer just to protect Mr. Roof, I seen it with my own eyes and this guy was not present at the time of the installation, but it proved to me was he not here to help, he's here to build a case against the customer trying to find loopholes to escape responsibility, he did nothing but take pictures to support his own logic. I should have taken them to court and it still a possibility that I will, however I wanted to inform future customers of how this company works. I strongly do not recommend Mr. Roof, there are much better companies that know how treat a customer and provide the professional service you deserve when spending your money. This roof cost me over $15,000.00, they took my money and left still with roofing problems. I did not want to give them any star for their rating, so please disregard to no star, I say don't do it, call someone else!
IN RESPONSE TO MR. ROOF'S REPLY on July7, 2025
I contacted you twice with the problem, you knew it was still an issue, you should have reached out to me, I should not have to call you again. Your response appeared to be as if you cared, you've already shown me you don't, it been a year! You know and I know as well, you are not going to anything about it, and you should be a shame of yourself owning a business and running commercials to gain trust when the service is substandard. I don't trust you or your company!
