Tom & Kent did a great job installing my new windows! And Mike & Tanner did a great job with the white cladding around the windows! They cleaned up everything! The windows look so good! I highly recommend them if you are considering getting new/ replacement windows!

I would recommend these guys to anyone. The dot com guy came and rechecked our measurements before we ordered our windows and the salesman was up front and honest about everything. When they installed the windows they had the upmost respect and honesty out of any crew I have seen. Tanner, the installer, let my kids ask him a million questions and was always happy to answer. If something was wrong they made sure it was fixed the correct way and didnt rush through to get it done. Will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

My replacement windows are great! It took two days-start to finish.
Tanner and Scotty were the installers. They were prompt, courteous, explained everything clearly, and they cleaned up completely when finished! I would highly recommend The Window Source of Central Iowa ---(and I think their TV ads are hilarious).

Good product but the customer service with Kent left much to be desired. They called AFTER their scheduled install time to let us know they wouldn't be coming that day. When the rescheduled day came, no one showed up until 1 hour after install time. I had to call them to make sure they were still coming! We were offered no credit for the inconvenience of them not keeping their scheduled time twice and when I asked to have Kent call me to discuss our concerns, it took four times of me calling (over the span of 4 weeks) to ask to speak with him before hearing back. When he finally did call, he was rude rather than apologetic about their lack of communication and punctuality.

We absolutely love our new windows and patio door. The crew who came to our house were professional, personable, polite. They got to work and stayed with the job until it was finished. Their work ethic was on point. From the initial contact, estimate and installation, it was an enjoyable transaction. The price was very fair and materials are top shelf. I would definitely recommend them to others. We had a construction glitch (no fault of Window Source) and they resolved the issue for us which wasn't part of the initial estimate. Thank you so much for going the extra mile. Seriously folks, if you need windows, you need to give Window Source a call.

We had 2 windows damaged by the deracho and the original installer said that the company of the windows were no longer in business but gave us an estimate. We decided to "look around" and The Window Source came out immediately, gave us a good price, had 2 more windows priced and decided to replace 4 windows at a very good price. Because of the back log of products we did have to wait for 4 months, but as soon as they came in, an installation date was scheduled within a week and we have 4 new windows! The 2 guys were professional,courteous, cleaned up both inside and outside and the job was completed in a timely manner. We are VERY pleased with everything from the first initial phone call ( Roberta is amazing!) right through clean-up. Absolutely would recommend this company.

Highly recommend the Window Source out of Cedar Falls! Very reasonable price and the new windows and trim look phenomenal!! Kent was great to work with and Tom did a great job with the install. Very fast and left absolutely no mess behind!! Extremely pleased with my new windows!

we had 17 windows, one large picture window with grids, and a patio sliding door replaced...we love them!...the window source team was amazing!..they were very efficient and quick...took them a day and half to complete the whole job!...we totally recommend them!..you will be extremely satisfied with their work!...great job guys!!

Bought windows 3 years ago and still wont fix poor install job. Inside window trim is coming off a few windows because of poor install from the owner Kent Reams himself and every winter I have frost around the window trim pieces around multiple windows because of poor install(see pictures). Don't waste your money with this company, find a professional window company.

The windows on our house had been installed a bit incorrectly leaving some exposed wood and a terrible caulk job. We had Tom come over and install some new window caps around the trim of the windows. They were able to come and complete the job in a matter of a few hours (15 or so windows). They installed a storm door for us as well and to top it all off even hauled away our cardboard recycling for us. That's what I call going the extra mile. Call these guys, you won't regret it.

Kent and his crew were very professional and easy to work with through the whole process of getting information and recommendations for getting our new doors for our house! It was a very smooth process from initial inquiry on the doors through the completion of the installation! I would highly recommend using this company if you are looking to get new doors and windows!

We replaced 11 windows in your home that is 43 years old. The windows that were put in when the home was built were Anderson windows. Brett came and showed us what was available for us along with window covers. About 2-3 days later Tom & Kent came to measure all the windows and told us what it would cost. We replaced our front window with a bow window. In one day they replaced 10 windows and the next day the bow window which took about 5 hours. The selling point with these windows was the lifetime warranty which transfers to another owner if we sell our home. We had some problems with the bottom molding around the bow window and they came back and replaced it with no questions asked. They were all very professional and fun to have around. The work completed was good but the work crew was completely unprofessional. They even shorted out a breaker in my house and then played dumb about it. The salesman under-bid the job so now the company has no interest in repairing the damage their crew did to my house. They have great windows but that is not enough. You have to stand by your work even at a financial loss.

Never got their window, because of very poor professionalism. Brett comes over tells me about the window and gives me a price then starts to leave. I ask him if he had a card. He went out to his car and got a piece of paper and wrote his name and price on it. He gave me no business card or real quote. I had him come back again to talk some more and give me some literature on their window.
He did bring the literature but gave me a new quote that was 1300 dollars more. So we think about it and decide we would still go with them and we agree on a DIFFERENT price. He has his boss come over and they decide they cant do it for that price either. Then he tell me to go with someone else. Not a good experience

We love our new windows. We appreciated the knowledge and experience Tom demonstrated when we were deciding on our windows. The installation just a few short weeks later went very well. Chris and Tanner were very hard-working, efficient and friendly. They communicated well during the process....and they did an excellent job cleaning up along the way and at the end. Once it warms up and the neighbors come outside again and ask us about our new windows, it will be a pleasure to share our great experience and recommend the Window Source of Central Iowa to them.

Tom and Kent were great to work with. We recently had our siding replaced by them, as well as a window installed. They are very personable and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend giving them a try. The house looks great!

These guys definitely deserve a 5 star review! We had 10 windows in our turn-of-the-century Cedar Falls home replaced. They were great to work with, had the best pricing in town and did an excellent job on the installation. I would highly recommend them when it comes to replacing windows in the area.

The windows are great -- we had our 3-season porch done -- removed jalousie windows and replaced with these new double-hung, energy efficient windows. They are beautiful, have helped insulate the porch, and definitely have cut down the street sound, when closed. Tom was great to work with and the service and installation was top-notch. My house that I purchased in April, 2016 was in need of replacement windows. Early Fall I decided to not wait until 2017 to replace the windows. I solicited five bids/quotes. Window Source was not the cheapest but Kent was by far the easiest to work with throughout the entire process. The windows were installed in one day and Kent promptly replied to any questions I had after the windows were installed. I mentioned to Kent that I would be needing a door storm door on the front of my house and a side door for the garage. Mid May of this year I had Kent quote me on the two doors. We agreed on a price. The doors were installed within a month of the quote. They look great. I had a little trouble with a small window in the garage. Kent came twice, the second time after the doors were installed and I had called. He showed me what I needed to do to ensure the double hung window would close properly. First class, prompt service with what appears to be a reputable product combined with fair price makes Window Source a great option for window replacements

I was putting a window in my shower i had just installed and a bit nervous if it was a good idea. The salesman from The Window Source came and looked at it and walked me through the steps of how they would do this window, what materials they could use, and gave me his thoughts on what he would do if it were his.

The salesman was also the same guy that installed my window, this made me feel much better knowing he knew exactally what needed to be done, and his measurements would be accurate.

The installation went quick and seamingly easy, and they cleaned up well when they were done. Now we have a window that looks better than i had imagined.
