The Waterproof Group

I waited a few months before reviewing to make sure everything worked. It did! We had some regrading done and french drain/sump pump system put in our crawlspace. Crawlspace is no longer flooding in heavy rain and water in the yard is going where it is supposed to go. They were communicative and willing to answer my many questions.

They are large enough to tackle any job professionally, but still small enough to actually care about their work with quality.

I’ve had two separate projects done. Driveway void (they ended up finding a problem with my garage slab and filled that for free on site). And crawlspace encapsulation with French drain / sump pump / Dehumidifier (only company to actually find the water problem from people coming out to quote).

Joel was my rep who made sure everything stayed on schedule for me to move in on my timeline and Noah and Royce came out to do the work, Showing me updates, and answering all of my questions.

Honestly couldn’t ask for better service and knowledgeable crew who actually care. I’ve had 3 quotes from different companies and these guys were fair priced right in the middle making it a comfortable and at ease experience knowing I’m in good hands.

I’d love to say I’ll be a returning customer, but these guys nailed it on the head with a permanent fix.

Kevin Ramos and Gilberto did a great job doing a poly coating on our concrete deck, they were great with communicating every step of the way and very professional. The deck looks amazing and we’re confident now that it’s water tight! They also did a very detailed job cleaning up the mold in our crawlspace floor joists, they look new! Kevin and Allan did a great job encapsulating our crawlspace and answering all of our questions and addressing all of our concerns. Justin was thorough in explaining the solutions for our project and we’re looking forward to working with the waterproof group in the future.

The Waterproof Group just completed foundation repair in the basement of my new (to me) house and did a fantastic job. Jeremy and Kevin led the crew, who got the job done quickly and effectively. All the reinforcing steel I-beams and carpentry blocking is visible in the unfinished basement, and it is clear when inspecting it that it is sturdy and clean work. I am extremely confident that I do not have any headaches to worry about with the foundation going forward. Not to mention it is warrantied for the lifetime of the structure.

Additionally, this repair came up during the inspection and due diligence period of buying the house, and Joel worked very flexibly in that tight window to get me a reasonable quote that I could use to negotiate with the seller. Just for the seller's peace of mind (since I called TWG), we ended up with 3 other quotes, and TWG's plan and quote were still who we went with, both for the house sale negotiation and obviously, for the repair once I closed. They were clearly the best option for a fair value, high quality repair with a lifetime warranty.

Noah, Rafi, Jeremy. Did a phenomenal job, Professional and worked with me with a disaster with the flooding that happened recently. Install two sump pumps. And shouldn’t have any more issues with thousands and thousands of gallons of water coming through the house. I would definitely recommend these guys fast proficient and came out the very next day and even helped me save money on like a restoration company taken out all the water with the pumps help dry everything out quicker and I actually spent less money with adding the pumps and then I would with the restoration one 1000s of dollars Which effectively would’ve been a waste of money. Would definitely recommend these three gentlemen.

We had water penetration in our basement and crawl space during heavy storms. I understand this is quite common for older houses. I found the Waterproof Group online since they are locally owned with good reviews. They came in and made a professional proposal. The project was completed in three days. They also came back in the following day and did an excellent cleaning job. Highly recommended. I will update about the efficiency of the system during the coming heavy rainfall season.

These guys are great. Unfortunately we had water in our basement after Hurricane Helene. Albin came out and looked over everything, the deal was right. Then the real stars showed up! Gabe and his team of guys did a great job. I hope to never have water in my basement again.

They did not mix the concrete correctly and we ended up with a worse leak than we had before. They sent somebody out that redid the concrete, but not the part behind the wall that they had to strip down to the frame to do the original work. We then had another leak from Helene, and I reached out to Justin and never got a response. Their prices were cheaper than most places, so I guess you get what you pay for.

The Waterproof Group was great to work with. The whole process was professional and timely. Justin was very knowledgeable and solutions-oriented to my problems and my budget. He also sent over the information right away for us to get started soon. Kevin and his team were great with executing on the work. Professional with keeping me informed on the plan and worked through the hurricane to get the quality work done. We had a great experience with the Waterproof Group from start to finish--our project involved basement waterproofing (sump pumps and internal foundation drain) and encapsulation. Justin was courteous, professional, and patient in answering questions about the scope of work and was very accommodating in adjusting details that were important to us for our older home. Braydon and his crew were great and easy to work with on site -- they communicated well and finished the job on schedule. At the end of the job, I realized there were two minor items still to be done, and the team responded by knocking them out very promptly, even though it meant sending another team member back out (Tino, who was awesome to work with) to finish up the final tasks. We had outside water enter the back of our house during a hard rain. These guys came out and found several catch basins that had been covered by erosion and dirt. They fixed the catch basins and installed a French drain to prevent any further damage to the house. They did quick work at a reasonable price.

The Waterproof Group waterproofed my basement. They came in, dug up the exterior wall and waterproofed it using their WetSuit product. The whole process was fairly quick, taking about a day and a half. Through it all, their crew kept me in the loop of everything they were doing or of any possible delays to the install due to potential rain.

Best of all, a few weeks later it rained for days and my basement was water free. I’d highly recommend The Waterproof Group for anyone looking to waterproof their basement!

This is my first review for any business, so that's saying something. Eric and the team at The Waterproof Group are a class act. We had a basement leak on the side of the house and it's a 50yr old home where the original construction was not the best. The first solution didn't work so they did a more extensive project. After a few rains, we thought we were in the clear but the next hard rain resulted in more leaks.

Eric came out and assessed the situation and they came back out at no additional cost to try and solve the problem. The water seemed to be coming from the front of the house and traveling through the bricks. Again, we all thought it was solved and another hard rain led to leaks. Eric came out once again and determined the source of the water was further around the front on the the other side of the porch. Once again, he provided his companies services at no additional cost because HE WANTED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

It was about providing the best possible customer service and fixing the issue, not about milking us for more money. I would highly recommend the Waterproof Group.

This review is a year overdue, but since I’ve referred them to 3 of my friends, I felt it was time to leave my review. Justin and his dad are amazing. They do the best work, the communication is beyond on point, and they truly care about your property as if it was their own. They will always be my go to for any drainage, foundation, waterproofing projects as long as my wife and I live in ATLANTA. I had two separate leaks in my basement, and since they did the work we have no issues, even after the heaviest of rainfall. David was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and did a thorough inspection. He shot it to me straight which is exactly what I look for. He took the time to speak with me and told me as much as he wanted to help me he didn’t think that was what I needed. You have no idea how much I appreciate that. So many have come in and tried to sell me on products. Call them. You will get the truth and who could ask for anything more than that.

We just bought a new house. The prior owners had some waterproofing done by another company. The battery backup for the sump pump had failed and they were asking an obscene amount for a replacement. On top of that, we risked voiding the warranty for their work if we didn't replace the backup or if we got another one. David came out and looked at our setup. He said he could put in a brand new sump pump and a battery backup for less than the cost of what the other guys wanted for the backup alone. But he cautioned us that the warranty was probably worth keeping and recommended we go with the other guys -- just an uncommonly decent and honest thing to do. We took his advice but part of me really wanted to go with the Waterproof Group since he was such a straight-shooter. We will absolutely use them in future if we have any other issues.

This company was thorough and transparent in their findings and shared with me several options to eliminate the problem in my basement and yard. The plan changed at the last minute however Justin, Joshua and the crew made sure it didn’t inconvenience our family plans. Thank you for a job well done, professionalism, and the cleanliness. Hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had with a company. These guys are very knowledgeable and professional. They did roof coating to seal the entire roof. We couldn't be any happier with final results. They ended up saving us a ton of money and hassle compared to reroofing our building.
