I discovered an active leak during a period of time of repeated rain showers from my master bathroom ceiling. My neighbor recommended Chris Flanagan at Avalon Restoration in Marietta GA and he answered my call quickly then with no hesitation sent assistance the next day! They determined my roof was beyond just a repair and had whole roof replaced in one day within same week between rain storms.
I am so pleased with fast response plus crew showed up few minutes early to begin and worked very hard.

Bathroom ceiling caved in from frozen pipes bursting in Dec. They were very responsive and did a very thorough job of mitigating the flooded bedrooms, bathroom, etc. They checked on the house daily and did a great job. They coordinated all repairs that were necessary including new floooring, drywall repair, sink replacement, everything. The house is done and looks awesome. Couldn't be happier. I feel so fortunate to have ended up with them at my son's referral. Would not think of using anyone else.

Avalon installed my roof 9 years ago after some hail and wind damage and worked well with my insurance company in order to get it done. It was done in one day with a professional crew. It is still in great shape, but I had some damage from a raccoon trying to get in my attic. Chris came out the same day I contacted him and inspected the damage with his drone camera. He had his crew out here early the next morning and it was fixed quickly and inexpensively. I highly recommend Avalon Restoration for any roofing repairs - he really cares about his customers and stands by his work.

We Developed a water leak on a great room ceiling after wind and rain storm.
We were referred to Chris and his company by a previous customer that had high regards. They were actually able to come out one day early before more rain hit our house and make the repair the same day while they were here. We cannot recommend this Chris & this company more. We met Chris almost two years ago when he was in the area doing roof inspections. He was know kind and knowledgeable that we kept his contact information and when we had roof damage earlier this year he was who we called. Many of our neighbors have used them and had positive things to say about them so we decided to as well for an insurance replacement. What was nice is that they did not contact us un-solicited, but rather it was based on us asking if they could take a look. They are very low pressure, easy to work with from an insurance perspective and did great work. Also, they did not try to up sell us on expensive upgrades. In our case, we did some research and we asked them if we could upgrade from the Owens Corning Oakridge to Duration designer which we did. In our case we were a little bit in-decisive with the colors and had them do a few runs to get us samples that they did without hesitation and brought to our house. There were a couple of small things we asked if they could do for us while they were up on our roof (trim a couple of tree branches, custom accessory paint that we provided, a very minor repair to our gutter and paint a small rust spot on a tin roof section with paint we provided) that they took care of as well at no charge. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Above and beyond all our expectations!! Jody made dealing with the whole process very easy, if I could give them ten stars I would.

When I noticed several neighbors having new roofs installed by Avalon after a recent hail storm, I stopped to talk to their representative. I requested an inspection of my roof, which was quickly done. Chris found definite evidence of hail damage and said they could file a claim with my insurer. Said insurer sent out their inspector, who was quite clearly hired to "Just Say NO". Chris requested a second inspection by the insurer and finally approval was given to re-roof the house at no expense to me. Chris and Jody are pit bulls and don't let the insurance companies jerk customers around. They are great advocates for the homeowner and provide a great product with courteous and conscientious laborers in a very timely manner. I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience!

I am a first time home buyer and unfortunately the previous owner of my recently purchased home lied on the sellers disclosure about repairs needed on my chimney/roof. Every time it rained I had a waterfall coming down my bedroom wall. The owner of Avalon Restoration-Chris-came out to my home and did a full roof inspection. He had already recommended tarping the area to prevent further damage and came out to do that for me as well. Here comes the shocker HE DIDNT EVEN CHARGE ME! They were there with the insurance appraiser, ensuring nothing was missed, and that I understood, the process. They not only gave me a new upgraded roof, but took care of interior damage to my ceiling. Addtionally my gazebo roof was upgraded as well. The roof's and interior ceiling look great! THIS is how a renovation and roofing business should be run. Other companies should take note. Chris and his team at Avalon really do have something special going.

It is rare that my personal standards are even met (much less exceeded) on a large renovation project such as a roof replacement. Most of the time it's a hassle in at least one way or another. This was totally opposite in this case -- I felt like Chris treated my home like it was his own home, watching out over every minute detail with the eye of a hawk, and an attention to detail that rivaled my own.

Chris and his team exceeded my expectations in every way I could imagine - from the initial quote to the point of sending the final completion letter to the insurance company. On the downside, I'm likely ruined for working with any other "average" company going forward LOL.

This has been, hands down, the best experience I've ever had with a home renovation project. Chris and his team at Avalon are to be commended on having an operation to be proud of. I cannot recommend them enough.

Chris and his crew did a wonderful job. He dealt with the insurance company for me mostly and I didn't even need to be present for the job. The crew did a great job cleaning up afterwards as well. Overall I am very satisfied!

Back in 2015, I had a roof leak. I called Chris at Avalon Restoration as well as several other roofing contractors. I received varied responses from these contractors. Some said I just needed to cover up portions of my roof with some random non-matching shingles from Home Depot, while others said I needed a new roof. However, all of these contractors (except for Chris) had one thing in common - they didn't want to get involved in helping me file an insurance claim. Chris was different. He said there was a high probability he could get insurance to buy me a new and better roof on the basis that I was experiencing a leak and my shingles showed signs of wind/hail damage. My insurance company proved difficulty to deal with, but Chris was there throughout the process giving me pointers and assisting wherever he could. When the insurance company sent an engineer to assess my roof, Chris was there to meet with him and represent my interests. After several months of back and forth, my insurance company ultimately ended up paying about 70% of the cost of a new roof. After all that, Chris then went the extra mile and beat all the other estimates to give me the very best price on my new roof AND he was present during the entire installation. Having dealt with numerous contractors, this was by far the best experience I have ever had. My experience has been that Chris is honest, dependable, a perfectionist, and always does what he says he is going to do. Consequently, I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.
