Neal Cook and his crew did a fabulous job on replacing our roof. The project was completed in one day, from delivery of supplies to clean up after the roof was installed. Neal was in constant contact by text and in person, even coming by the next day to make another sweep for errant nails and to ensure that we were satisfied. Although the weather was supposed to be clear the day of the install, mid-project Neal let us know an unexpected downpour was on the way. He had people monitoring the weather, and they sent tarps to cover the roof before the thunderstorm arrived.

I just had both of my bathrooms renovated by the incredible team at Big House and I could not be happier with the experience. Alberto is just the best- so nice, incredibly patient, reliable and always responded to our messages and emails promptly. The crew that did the work was also incredible, some of the hardest workers I've ever met, and I feel like they treated my house like they would their own, they were really fantastic. The even did work in my bedroom and replaced my front door, they are a jack of all trades. 10/10 would recommend!!

Randall was great to work with from start to finish. He collected the right pictures and data to work with on site insurance review and they collaborated to get the claims adjuster the information to make a sound decision about roof and gutters. I had previous submissions that were denied and this one went through seamless and supplemental claims approved as well.

Big House Construction and specifically Nick Benes worked directly with my insurance company to get a new roof. It was in bad shape, they were able to get it approved quickly and performed quality work. The crew was very professional! I would highly recommend using them!

Because there were so many roofing companies coming to my door this year I decided to call Conner O’Neill who had come out in 2024 to check my roof and he was very honest with me about the condition of my roof so I felt very confident contacting him this year to see if he could check it out again. It turned out there was quite a bit more damage then in 2024 and therefore we put a claim in with State Farm. They approved a new roof and within a couple of days Big House Construction was out here working. When the roof was done it looked awesome. We also needed new gutters and when they were put up it was the icing on the cake. It looked great. I highly recommend Big House Construction and Connor O’Neill you won’t be disappointed.

Our primary contact, Randall and all of the Big House employees and subcontractors were excellent. They arrived as scheduled, were diligent as well as quick about their work. I judge them to be very competent, knowledgeable, and caring in each person’s respective task. They accomplished the expected follow-up tasks quickly. We had one circular roof section that was extremely “abnormal” which they completed with great skill. Their skill and professionalism allowed this re-roofing project to be a painless and positive experience for us, the homeowners.

I had a wonderful experience with Big House Construction. They installed a new, complete, state of the art roof after my old one was damaged by hail. It includes several upgrades and It looks absolutely gorgeous. I dealt principally with Jake Thomason, and Derrion Rakestraw. Big House was replacing a neighbor's roof so I walked over to ask about a leak repair. Robby used his drone to inspect the area I pointed out.
While inspecting he noticed hail damage and we set about an insurance claim.
Once approved, we were on the schedule about a week out. They conformed mid week, when I left in the morning the day of install I thought there was no way they would be done by the end of the day.
When I got home at 6, we had a new roof and no mess!

Unprofessional solicitors, if you give them an inch they will harass you for your business for weeks after wards. Talk to any other roofing company that doesnt have to beg for work and this company will lose their minds and harass you more. So, I recently took the plunge and bought a charming old home in Grant Park—you know, the kind with all the history and, unfortunately, the asbestos siding. My partner and I decided to tackle the asbestos situation head-on (because who wants to live in a historic house of horrors?), so we lined up a bunch of quotes from abatement companies and siding pros (these groups are rarely one and the same).

Enter Big House Construction. They not only agreed to handle the siding work but also took charge of the entire abatement process, handling scheduling with the separate company during the summer storms to ensure it got done and my house wasn’t water logged. And let me tell you, they saved my sanity (and my wallet). The abatement company tried their best, but let’s just say they left a few “surprises” behind or out (our shutters went with the asbestos). Big House, with the superhero of siding Trey Allen at the helm, swooped in to save the day.

Trey was on top of everything—communicating, fixing, managing, probably performing a few minor miracles. The man’s a saint. Thanks to him, my house is now safer and looking snazzy enough to make the neighbors jealous, brand-new shutters and all. Speaking of neighbors, the poor souls were sandwiched between two houses getting siding work done, and even they noticed Big House was quicker, more professional, and generally less of a headache.

So if you’re in the market for a company that’ll turn your home improvement horror story into a fairy tale, Big House is your happily ever after.

I had a real rollercoaster of an experience with a *former* employee of Big House, and after I posted my review here, the owner reached out personally and went above and beyond in making things right.

The review I posted previously isn't representative of the experience you'd have with Big House if you contracted them, from what it sounds like; instead, you should look to some of the other satisfied reviews here on Google to see how they handle a typical job start to finish.

For my part, I'm impressed with the owner's proactive willingness to really "put his money where his mouth is", so to speak, in terms of making sure that the customer is served well.

Irecently had my roof replaced with Big House Construction. I had many other companies stopping wanting to do the job but it was not until Josh Argo from Big House Construction came. He actually went up on my roof, not with a drone, and showed me the damage and was so very knowledgeable, just had a good feeling so I went with them. Well I was right, Josh was there from start to finish, he dealt with my insurance company, the workers were there on date scheduled and took one day to complete. Josh came back to inspect the roof and my property and it was perfect.

I had an excellent experience with this roofing company. The team was professional and completed the job in just one day. I'm so impressed with the exceptional service I received from Isacc and his team! On a weekday evening around 7 pm, Isacc came to our home to inspect our roof and informed us of some necessary repairs that needed to be addressed ASAP. What struck me was his promptness and dedication to his work. Despite everyone else heading home for the day, Isacc climbed onto our roof to thoroughly inspect it, and then promptly handled the insurance claim.

The process was seamless, and all we had to do was choose the color and type of shingles we wanted. Isacc took care of everything else, including dealing with the insurance company. And the best part? We didn't have to pay a dime out of pocket except for our deductible!
