Replaced sump pump after failure. Came same day within 2 hours, called me to confirm the best replacement options, completed work quickly and even discarded the old pump! Would absolutely recommend them if you need service that is tailored to your needs!
If you're looking for a contractor who is combative, you found the right place!!
I will start by saying that Kyle has a very hardworking team of men and this review has nothing to do with them. This is based 100% on the interactions we had with Kyle. Kyle business was hired thru our General Contractor so we unfortunately didn't have a choice in who was picked.
Our project started in late May. We were replacing our patio, retaining walls and stairs.
First issue - We had 7 5" Limestone steps installed. 4 of the steps had cracks. Kyle immediately called them Fishers. We told him they are already compromised, and if he doesn't have a problem with them, use them at his own home. We paid for new uncompromised stairs. He argued about this over and over. Luckily of GC promised he would take care of it and in the end we have 7 brand new steps.
On the side of our patio they were adding to the giant hill of dirt that we asked they spread out so it wasn't such a steep hill. Twice we had them back to explain again what we wanted and twice he failed to execute. One of our General Contractor and my husband were out on this hill trying to pull it away from the brand new retaining wall Kyle decided to cover with dirt. Literally..New retaining wall which isn't cheap he covered all the way to the caps. I personally feel like he was doing this out of spite because he had to eat some of the costs of labor/material of the steps he didn't even inspect before he installed them. I am not saying every single piece of concrete should be inspected, but material such as limestone that is a focal point should have been looked at.
Kyle point blank said he was only worried about the finished job so he could get his picture. He decided to fill the gaps of the stairs with gravel which all poured out of the sides onto the steps after he left.
He had made a bucket of muric acid/water mix to clean up areas he had scuffed on the new material. One of the workers put a small boot print on the stone and Kyle had a full blown temper tantrum. Needless to say nothing was clean. The dirt wall remained the same and his combativness on his last day here confirmed that I would warn potential clients to stay away from. He left our yard a disaster..I have video of his last day here and him arguing with my husband instead of just listening to what we were asking for him to do. I will add as many pictures as I can here.
I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I was in need of a company to excavate and rebuild retaining walls lining a driveway. I got quotes from several different companies and from the start felt the most comfortable with Kyle. On the first meeting he discussed options, what would work best for the space, and obstacles he would foresee in the job. He was very upfront and honest with the work to be done and his pricing. He gave very detailed info on how the original structure wasn't built for longevity and the additional work he would do to create a drain tile. Once the work started he was very open with the timeline. He updated us regularly and was very communicative. When the work was completed he was very thorough in explaining everything and offering future support if needed. Now several weeks after being completed it turned out better than expected and very happy we hired the Rock Guys
