Scam company, do not do business with them. I signed a contract with them in April 30 of 2024 for a roof repair, received email confirmation, and yet I cannot get them to actually do the work. I have called repeatedly, emailed repeatedly and they never responded. Happy Roof, good at making Unhappy customers...

They are a bunch of liars. They have came to my house multiple times and lied every time they came over. We have advertised for them and they even told us if our insurance would not work with us they would do it for free, and then they back peddle. They also said the sent some of our shingles back to Florida. They didn't. So why would you do business with dishonest people?

My living room had a chimney leak on the fireplace wall. I thought it could be a failed chimney flashing from the Happy roof installed eight years prior, which was still under warranty. I called the company; they came out and checked the flashing, which was fine. The chimney needs tuckpointing so they sent Matthew, a skilled tuckpointer to make the repairs. This work was required and not part of the original contract, however, they did stand by their warranty and helped me solve the problem at a very, reasonable cost.

It’s been nearly a year now since Happy Roof repaired our home’s tornado damage. I continue to be impressed by the attentiveness and skill of this company and its workers. Just yesterday they came to my aid again , due to damage from the recent tornado ridden storms.Believe me, I vetted several roofers before choosing Happy Roof—they won hands down for pricing, skill, responsiveness and planning—you won’t be disappointed!

Happy Roof replaced our roof, gutters, and siding.They did an exceptional job - start to finish. We had alot of hail damage and Cary was quick to tarp our roof. Larry and his team were great to work with. The roofing crew was great and the siding crew made everything look seamless. Larry and Cary were always responsive and ontop of things. Highly recommend Happy Roof and we will be calling them again for future projects.

I recently had my cedar roof replaced by Happy Roof, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire process from start to finish. The job foreman, Cary, and the manager, Larry, were professional, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right.

The project involved removing the old cedar roof, installing new decking, and then replacing it with asphalt shingles. The crew was meticulous, and the attention to detail was evident in every step. While there were a couple of minor issues during the job, both Cary and Larry were quick to address them and made sure everything was resolved to my satisfaction—well beyond my expectations. Their commitment to quality and customer service is truly commendable.

Happy Roof installed a roof for us in May of 2017. We called them Tuesday 11/5/24 (7 years after the initial roof install). and Happy Roof came out to assess the damage next day. We highly recommend them. Very pleased with their work.

This is just my experience. I had Happy Roofing come to my house (20 Aug) and quote me a price for new gutters. My project manager was honest and told me they were just now coming out of a backlog of projects and wouldn't be able to contact me until after the Labor Day holiday to get me scheduled. I waited until 6 Sep (Friday) and contacted the company. I received a phone call that day from the individual who schedules the work. We scheduled a date of 19 Sept (Thur). They never showed. Turns out my project was not scheduled. The scheduler said we never discussed a date and he would call me the following Mon or Tues. Instead I receive an email from my project manager saying (basically) they are canceling my job and refunding my deposit. They were accommodating and I picked up my deposit check that day. I believe the scheduler just made a mistake. We're all human and it happens. But how they handled it afterwards is what I find unacceptable.

At the 9am on 9/16 appointment time promptly. He rushed felt not interested in full scope of work. Just wanted to give me a bid for the roof which I have yet to receive. This is why I am leaving a negative review. The lack of communication and follow up is non existing and unprofessional.

We had Happy Roof did a complete rebuilt of our roof in Soulard, taken down to the wood and new flashings everywhere, new underlayment, 3 new velux skylights, new architectural shingles and new metal copings on the parapet walls. From the initial visit to the end of the project everything was on time, the roofing crew was all hispanic and worked very long hours to get it done, the coping crew (not hispanic) did a great job too. It was not cheap but for the scope of our project we think we had good value. We used to dread heavy rains and now we cant wait for the next one to test our new roof.

I am not typically one to leave negative reviews as I have 2 business owners in my family. However, our experience with happy roof was enough to make me want to share our experience so no one else has to deal with their lack of professionalism. Like many, we experienced a leak in our roof during the severe storms in the area. We contacted happy roof for their services and were told there would be a few other homes ahead of us due to the large amount of damage storms had caused to many homes in our area. We totally understood that. However, THREE TIMES we were told that our repairs would be done on X day or “next week” and every time, no one showed up. We had 1 day of rain during these times. There was zero communication from happy roof that they wouldn’t be able to make it out on said day. After reaching out to them, we were told that the repair guy was “out of town” and wouldn’t be back for 10 more days. At this point we have been waiting multiple weeks with a tarp on the roof. No apologies from happy roof whatsoever. Only told that if we didn’t want to keep waiting we could drive to their office and pick up a check to reimburse us. I probably wouldn’t be writing this review if it weren’t for the lack of sincerity or apology from any staff because I understand business owners get busy and sometimes their schedule gets too full to handle, but the lack of communication and professionalism was unacceptable. At least we got our money back, but hopefully this review helps someone steer clear of this company and from having the same issue we did.

Nick came out a day after I called to inspect my aging roof to look for any issues. He seemed very knowledgeable and honest and ultimately found no issues. He provided me a time table years out when he expects the roof may need to be replaced. I trust his opinion and definitely would not hesitate to reach out to the happy roof company when the time comes for replacement

Found the company through a social media ad and decided to take a chance as a second option.. Happy roof did SUCH a fantastic job on my home. Mike B. oversaw the entire project, insured everything was done to code, answered and any all questions I had and even came out on multiple different Saturdays to continue to make sure we were happy. We had gotten an overpriced bid elsewhere and the customer service couldn’t have been worse— with Happy roof I couldn’t have been happier. They show up when they say they will, they make the entire process hassle free AND affordable. My previous bidder attempted to sell me on a roof for 2,000$ MORE than what Happy Roof did. I could not recommend them enough. We plan to have them back before the fall to have them install gutter guards to stay within warranty as well as continue to support a local business.

Larry quickly addressed changes we wanted and communicated well throughout the process. At a time when good work and dedication is hard to find, Happy Roof is a shining example of how a company should conduct itself! I give them five stars!

Edward and Larry were great to work with. Very responsive to emails and questions (and we had a LOT!). We are new homeowners so we really appreciated them walking us through the process of putting on a new roof. They were a little backed up so it took a few weeks to get to us, but after that, things moved really quickly. We also had them put in gutter guards. They offered a guarantee on their work and have been very helpful in answering any follow-up questions we had. I would recommend Happy Roof to anyone.

Happy Roof was a pleasure to deal with, from start to finish! I initially called them for an emergency roof patch. Edward addressed the issue quickly and was communicative throughout the process. He very patiently answered all of my questions. The estimate for roof replacement was very reasonable, so I opted to go that route rather than just a repair (also very reasonably priced). Everyone was very professional and communicated clearly throughout the whole process, and again, answered any questions I had.

Dealing with roof repairs and replacement can be so stressful, but Happy Roof made it easy. I am so pleased with their work. My roof looks great! I highly recommend this company.

The first person they sent out never sent a bid. After calling to try to get the bid, they said had no record of sending someone out. They then later said they figured out who visited, but then still never sent the bid. Then after calling a few more times, they called back and sent someone else out. That person sent a bid. We said we'd go with it, but asked if they carried General Liability Insurance, Workman's Comp, and would provided lien waivers following payment. Got a text back saying they no longer felt they were right for our job. I asked why, and (surprise surprise) no reply. Sketchy.

Larry and his team were great to work with and were extremely efficient when repairing our leaks. He followed up with us multiple times to ensure there were no further leaks after pretty harsh weather conditions followed their visit. Since they repaired our roof, we haven't experienced another leak. Would highly recommend Larry and his team and will use again if repairs are needed again in the future!

Great Job!!! I had several companies give me bids for my replacement. Due to the economy, price point was very important while still getting a lifetime shingle. The Happy Roof had the best products at the best prices in my comparisons (they were the middle bid). The Crew worked hard and nonstop during the replacement. When all was said and done, Larry was picking up the check and even pointed out a future siding issue. He sealed a small area that water was getting in, and even told me not to worry because I still have several years of life left in my siding before needing replacement. Class act, and honest. Thank you Happy Roof!!!

So grateful for the generosity of The Happy Roof Company! They have helped two of our ministry's older adult clients with roof repairs that were beyond the scope of our home repair program. Both of our clients were thrilled with the quality of the work and timeliness of the assistance. A kind and caring neighborhood business!

So the project coordinator was friendly and professional but unfortunately the quality of their work was so bad, specifically for some gutter cleaning they were supposed to do, that i'm going to have to hire someone else to re-do it. Only time will tell about the roof maintenance they did but my confidence in that is not good given the rest of their work. I'll try and update this review depending on how things go. attached are a few snapshots, one from the estimate they gave me which listed what they were supposed to do. the others of the pictures they sent me of AFTER the work was done... as you can see... they don't exactly match up.

First, they actually forgot to clean the gutters at all, and when I called and reminded them , They clearly just ran a leaf blower over the gutters and got out any light debris, but the brown on the bottom there is actually an accumulation that is blocking my downspout and causing it to overflow.
in fact, the whole reason I hired people to fix the gutters. additionally they were clearly unhappy to be back and knocked a heavy tile off the top of my roof when coming up, which is completely unnecessary and difficult to do accidentally.

to be fair some of the pictures they sent back did have cleared gutters, but they were the ones I was not having trouble with and only had light debris...

who knows maybe its just their gutter crew that is bad and the roof stuff is good but if this is their idea of doing what was listed on that estimate I wont be using them again and advise others to look elsewhere...

Itried two times for someone to call me back. Noone ever called back. And yet I apologize for this sometimes can happen because the company did help me out a time before good with braking a piece of siding for me.

Great professionalism and quick service! We called The Happy Roof Company to install a dryer vent on our flat roof, and they were able to help us quickly. We'll be calling them again for routine maintenance.
