We’ve been using The Handyman (Derrick and team) for years. They do great work for reasonable prices. Equally important is integrity. The are responsive and honest. He does was he says he’s going to do within the stated timeline. I have a lot of experience in working with contractors and I would strongly recommend this company for general construction/repairs.

Derrick was great at completing a multitude of odd jobs I had around my home, creating additional storage space for an air conditioning unit, hanging 2 of the sliding barn-style doors, handing shelving units, etc.

Derrick and team were on time for each job, kept the work area clean when their work was done daily, and excellent at providing suggestions.

Derrick is truly a Jack of all trades - he has done several projects for me and is the first person I contact when I need something done around the house. From changing outdoor light fixtures and hanging ceiling fans to a complete room renovation (drywall, trim, paint) to building a beautiful custom barn door, he knows how to do it all and does it well - and if he feels like he can’t do it just right, he has relationships with those with the expertise. That wherewithal is priceless! I can’t recommend him enough. I feel like we totally lucked out when his business was the first that I happened to contact. Definitely worth your trust.

We are forever thankful for finding Derrick since relocating to Windham this past July! My husband and I are not handy and as one can imagine, there are many things that need to be done when moving into a new house! We’ve had Derrick over our house for a whole range of projects, numerous times and without fail, he’s extremely professional, punctual and goes above and beyond to fix and give recommendations for whatever it is I’m asking him to do! Derrick and his helper, Frank, competently and carefully removed our old, broken (and heavy) attic pulldown stairs and replaced them with a new set of aluminum stairs. The installation was done quickly and efficiently. They arrived during a very messy winter day yet the work area was cleaned thoroughly. My wife and I plan to use Derrick in the future for other projects around our home.
