I have a very large oddly shaped deck that was 36 years old so wanted it re-decked with composite decking. Andrew and team did an outstanding job. They were super meticulous and the shape of my deck did give some challenges which they figured out. The workmanship was outstanding. They were super respectful of surrounding property and super neat while working. The new deck is gorgeous and I couldn't be happier. They did the job in the time promised and kept me in the loop on every little thing as the job progressed.

Andrew and his team excelled in every facet of the construction process. Andrew provided a very detailed work proposal. He was very patient and flexible with multiple material and design changes prior to construction and during construction. Andrew and his team’s customer service, attention to detail, communication, and craftmanship were excellent. From the start of the project, I felt confident that in the end, I was going to be satisfied with the finished product. I was not disappointed. Andrew and his team delivered an excellent finished product and I am completely satisfied with our new deck. I am very detailed oriented, and I almost always find something that I feel could have been done better. In this case, there was no detail that was missed. Andrew and his team were knowledgeable about proper construction techniques and code. This is evident in the structural integrity of the deck. I highly recommend them for your next home project. They are the best contractors I have used.

I would give them 6 stars if I could. This crew rebuilt my deck and their workmanship and their work ethic are excellent. They always showed up on time, work was completed on time (I have a beautiful new deck!), and each day they pleasantly did the "one more thing" I asked of them. I can't wait for them to start my next project!

I had a large tree fall on my house. It destroyed a 30x12 foot porch cover overhang, and punched a number of holes through the roof sheathing on my primary residence. Just a real mess!

From the demolition and new replacement of the existing porch cover, to a new roof, to the repair of a water damaged ceiling, this company met and even managed to exceed my expectations. From the owner Andrew, to each member of his highly skilled crews, what The Final Cut Home Improvement Company ultimately delivered was value received. I have used Andrew for multiple projects around my house, large and small, and he's always my first stop for any home improvement project. From custom kitchen finishing and detailed woodwork to ceiling repair from water damage, to cedar shingle replacement, and more, he's honest, pays attention to the details, respects my home, and puts up with my inquisitive pets! :) When he's not the best guy for the job (e.g. foundation repair), he's told me so, and given me very useful advice for picking the best proposal. It truly gives me peace of mind to know I have such a great contractor to reach out to whenever I need a repair or renovation.

The Final Cut did excellent work for me in a tight timeline. All contractual things were easily done online and the communications through the project were great. Most importantly, the work turned out very well!

We had the best experience with Andrew and his team Nick, Kyle and Atley. They built an addition on our home and we couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience, especially given the scope of the major project. Dormering our space required building complexities of not only framing, drywall, etc.. but roofing, electrical, and minor HVAC details. Andrew coordinated it all with ease, communicated every step of the way, and completed the addition on time and budget. 10/10 recommend The Final Cut!

Andrew and his crew Atley, Nick and Kyle knocked this job out of the park! We live in Arbutus stand-alone, built in 1947. Long story short, when they built this place people didn’t need that much closet space. Fortunately there were a couple of closets adjacent, and the room next door had two. So we combined to adjacent ones, installed a shelf system, and enlarged the opening to fit an 8-foot sliding door. They went above and beyond throughout the entirety of the job. Totally worth it!

Andrew and his crew at the Final Cut recently repaired the roof rafters in my garage. It previously had some damage causing it to bow, but they were able to get it structurally sound. We can’t recommend Andrew Frank and team from the Final Cut enough. Andrew is honest and patient and a terrific craftsman. We had our house and garage exterior painted and gutters replaced. The staff did a beautiful job on everything in an efficient amount of time. We also had bookshelves built by The Final Cut and the design phase through the last coat of paint went smoothly and Andrew and his guys did a great job! Andrew replaced my siding after an accident ripped off much of it and part of my roof. He game a fair estimate, explaining my options from the start, and sticking to the provided estimate. As other eventualities rose, he would contact me immediately, again providing options and fair pricing. Everything he did was transparent and the end results speak for the quality of the work. Final Cut worked steadily each day and finished the entire project expeditiously.
Aside from all that, Andrew is a good guy who clearly cares that his customer is satisfied with the work being done. He never seemed consumed with getting it done but rather doing it right.
