I wish I could recommend them but I can’t. They do a decent job at edges and it seems like that’s what they go by. Here’s one thing I noticed last night (attached pic). They put one coat where clearly it needed two, or primer before. DON’T tell them you’re moving because I think they change their approach, as in, out of sight out of mind. I don’t work that way. Three stars because I’ve had to clean up the stuff they missed and/or just did a poor job on. I don’t like to be a foreman. Didn’t feel like I hired experts

The painters from Sheldon and Sons were quick, efficient, friendly and careful! We have too much furniture and too much junk, but the painters worked around all of it without any complaints! Their work is superb - truly amazing! And the team could not have been more reliable or friendly. We could not be more pleased!

Sheldon & Sons were an absolute pleasure to do business with from the first call. They came right away to do an estimate. Provided guidance during the process and a very easy online quoting system to work with.They were fairly priced and I can say that they brought the highest level of quality. Mr. Dervon from Sheldon and Sons did a beautiful job on painting our exterior window dormers. The dormers were a dingy white color now they are a beautiful white and look good beside the new roof. Sheldon & Sons painted the wood work on the outside of my house and my porch. I was very pleased with their work. They did an excellent job. I’m extremely satisfied with the work they did painting the living and family rooms in our house. The lines are all smooth without a single visible slip up. They moved the furniture to get the job done, which spared me the work, and only asked that I removed any art or pictures from the wall. All instructions were followed perfectly. Great and I mean great pricing. Basically about $1,200 less for the same job vs a well known competitor. They were on time to the minute. We had a three man crew day 1 and a two man crew day two. Payment was easy, no add ins or gimmicks. Great work, clean up and communication through the entire process. I recommend Sheldon and Sons without hesitation.

They were able to visit our home within days of our initial contact with them, and then provide an estimate shortly after that, and then get the work done shortly after that. So it was very quick and convenient. The crew called while on site (we were away) in order to clarify some things, so they were thoughtful and responsive. And the results look great, no complaints. From finishing flaws in the drywall seems to countless anchor holes left after removing wire closet shelves. Sheldon and Sons were very prompt and professional in addressing my needs. They managed a variety of activities at two different properties - power washing, caulking, painting, wall repair, chair rail installation. They were willing to focus their efforts on my greatest needs and were flexible in doing partial painting - ex. just ceiling or trim work. I had a wonderful experience recently with Sheldon & Sons. We had a two person team (Kevin and William) paint our living room, dining room, foyer and hallway. They were painting over a very dark color on the walls and trim with a light neutral color we had chosen which was no easy task! They arrived on time each day and were very detail oriented with their work. They carefully covered up our hardwood floors, furniture and taped the toe molding as we had requested. They were kind, courteous and very professional. They seemed to really take pride in their work and made some recommendations which I'm glad I took them up on along the way. We even had a small issue where the paint they were using was reacting with the paint underneath and bubbling up. They had encountered this previously and knew exactly what to do to remedy the issue. We feel like we have a new house now! The paint job was well done (VERY clean lines) and we know it will last for many years due to the quality of the materials and work done. Had a great experience from start to finish with Sheldon and Sons. My job entailed having them finish prepping the walls after wallpaper removal and then painting. I had another company remove the wallpaper and that was a mistake. Sheldon and Sons fixed and prepped the walls as they should be and then did a great painting job. Nancy in the office was great to work with and very helpful in scheduling the job (and all around great customer service) and Sam and his crew did a great job with the wall prep and painting. I'm so pleased with the work they did. I highly recommend Sheldon and Sons and will use them for any future painting needs.

Everyone associated with Sheldon and Sons were a pleasure to work with -- from Mr. Sheldon who gave us a prompt response to coming out for an estimate, to the office personnel who were excellent when scheduling our job and answering all our questions, to the color consultant who helped with our choices, and especially to the crew who painted several interior rooms of our house. The crew arrived promptly every morning, were extremely professional in the job they were doing, and cleaned up every evening before leaving. Would highly recommend Sheldon and Sons and definitely will call them in the future.

After some initial frustration with the estimator failing to get back to me regarding a breakdown of the work to be done, the owner really stepped up. First, he agreed to give us a “painter for a day.” Second, after we agreed to have Sheldon/Sons do the work, they worked closely with us as the project needed substantial revisions. After stripping/powerwashing the deck, it was determined that the deck was made with mahogany, a rare and expensive wood for decks. Rather than simply proceeding with application of the solid stain we originally requested, Scott Sheldon had his Sherwin Williams rep come out to determine the best option for refinishing the deck. And then Scott came to meet with us personally to discuss our options. We ended up using an Exotic Hardwood stain for the boards and rail caps. And after some steady rains kept the workers away for a few days, they got the project done promptly once the weather cleared. We are very thrilled with the outcome!

I had two great experiences with Sheldon & Sons. They provided flexibility when providing the quotes, worked with me on the price, and always provided a great service. Sheldon & Sons is my first choice when I need painting, or finishing work at my home.

Very professional. Work was timely and for a very reasonable price (I shopped around for some time and no one even came close).

I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons:
1. The first time Orlando came out he didn't have a sprayer (needed for the job) due to a breakdown in communication somewhere. He called his supervisor and we rescheduled right there on the spot.
2. When I received my bill I was charged for some time that the painter was not actually working but out getting supplies or on Lunch. My claim was handled quickly and professionally and the excess charges were removed.

Year after year I return to Sheldon & Sons for my both interior and exterior painting needs. I always request their painter Scott Burns. He is a professional at his craft. I normally set aside 3 - 5 days of work. Together Scott and I plan out what can be accomplished. Then we take a break for a few months and repeat. I really appreciate this flexibility. Plus it is comforting to know that Scott and Sheldon & Sons are always there for future projects as my schedule permits.
