Getting our roof replaced was one of the easiest processes I have done thanks to Classic Remodeling. Going through a roof assessment, sample exchange, material delivery, replacement, and clean up was pretty much done without us being there. They were able to come and go without a trace other than a high quality roof. They were extremely easily to talk to, understood the needs of the house, and listed out everything they suggest to do to give the best quality product.

Very happy with our screen porch build. Rudy and his team had awesome attention to detail. We ordered custom doors that they installed for us as well. The transformation is stunning. A few years ago we had a deck put on our house and used Classic Remodeling. We were/are very happy with the quality of the deck. We noticed our builder grade patio door leading to the deck was starting to rot so we decided to get a ProVia door installed. We used Classic again and couldn’t be happier with the quality and attention to detail. The communication was also very good. Highly recommend them for any project.

Classic Remodeling, Inc. created a stunning deck for us! It is more than we ever dreamed of! Nick Trey, the owner of the business, was professional, educated us about materials, and designed our deck with his aesthetics and ingenuity. His builders executed it with precision.

We needed a simple replacement of deck boards on a small deck and were treated as if we were having a whole house remodeling project. There was also a tight timeframe to get the work done and Nick was as responsive as he told us he would be. Unfortunately, when they started the tear out of the old decking, they found the total substructure was rotted out. A few phone calls and within 30 minutes they had a plan and price to rebuild the base and were off to get lumber. I watched Rudy and his crew work as I enjoy watching experienced craftsmen working as a no-nonsense team do their meticulous crafting and joining of a small, but complicated design. The angles and joinery were exacting, and this was on the sub structure. The finished decking was no less perfect, and we were more than pleased with the end product. I only wish I had more exterior projects on the horizon so that I would have the opportunity to work with Classic again.

We found Classic Remodeling Inc at the Maryland Home and Garden show years ago, when we were looking for a new pool deck. Nick came to discuss the project and unlike other contractors, he asked and focused on what we wanted and what our goals were, not what he could sell us. Since then, we've had him and the company come back to do our windows and just recently our siding and roof. Each time, Nick and his company have worked to give us the best "bang for our buck" and give us what best suits our needs/goals, not the most expensive thing he could sell us.

Classic Remodeling did an outstanding job installing a new sliding glass door in our family room. The installers cleaned up throughout the installation and again when the work was done. Upon completion of the installation, the installer took the time to go over the operation of the door, the blinds, the locks and the warranty.

I reached out Classic Remodeling about installing porch and stair rails to my front porch after having the old railing removed due to some prior work. I spoke with Jen initially in getting the estimate started. She was very nice and communicated responsively during the estimate phase. During the estimate phase I also spoke with Nick who was very knowledgeable and coming up with a solution to add the railing with an existing awning. There was a little delay as we had to wait on the supplies to come in from the vendor, but Jen and Nick kept me informed during the wait. Once the supplies arrived the crew arrived in a couple of days to install. They took their time making sure everything was installed correctly and securely. After they finished they left area clean and neat like they found. They were also pleasant and friendly while during the work. I would recommend and consider classic remodeling for other exterior projects.

We are very pleased with our siding job. The crew was at our house early the first day and had the old siding off in no time. We have a two story home and the job was completed in less than two full days. The house looks beautiful. There were a few very minor details that could have gone better but they didn't detract from the overall experience and were probably normal occurrences. I would use them again.

I was referred to Nick by friends of ours who were very pleased with his work. I have to echo them and say the same. My husband and I found out (unexpectedly) our deck posts were rotted. We didn’t budget for a full repair/replacement so trying to find a reliable and trustworthy company that we would afford on our “shoestring budget” was not easy. Many companies took advantage and/or pulled a bait and switch making us hesitant to pick a company. From the beginning Nick was very helpful and fair. They produced a great quality build and took a lot of care to keep the worksite clean.

Rudy was great to work with, helpful, respectful, explaining everything that he was going to be doing. He was knowledgeable about how to protect our existing gazebo. He went above and beyond painting the railing that would be covered by the new rails on the existing gazebo. The pumpkins that he added on the front porch railing were a nice touch. It made me smile when we came home and I saw them. They cleaned up after themselves and even took some trash that we hadn't gotten rid of yet.

In planning my home improvement project, I got estimates from five different contractors. Classic Remodeling Inc. stood out because they were specific in the materials that they used. I sat down with Nick, and he listened to my needs and ideas for porch construction, new roof, new entry doors and reconstruction of a wall to remove a french door. We reviewed materials from the vendors that they use and adjusted the scope to include materials from outside vendors. The proposals for each component of the project were detailed. The cost was reasonable, when compared to the other estimates.

When the project started, each of the crews that came to work on their components were fantastic. They worked quickly, but were willing to stop and answer questions. The materials were removed or secured, and my yard was left clean each day. All of the issues and finishing touches to make this job perfect have been addressed.

Nick Trey and Classic Remodeling have done several jobs with our home. We had new shutters put on the outside, some siding needed repair, a patio door was installed, and the biggest job were replacing all the windows in the house. Nick showed up on time and gave a very thorough review, recommendations, listened to what we wanted, and presented a fair estimate. All work was exceptional, cleaned up like they were never here, and left the house each time with a superior product installed. Over the years a couple of window seals broke and Nick was very responsive on my next steps. I followed his directions and the warranty company took care of the rest. Nick was here right on schedule. He had obvious knowledge of the products and the process. He was able to describe how the company operated and what they would do for us. He had samples and literature to help us decide on materials. He advised us on which materials would get us what we wanted on our budget.The crew was prompt and efficient and had great attention to detail. I have an old house that has needed a lot of work. Nathan and Nick were very helpful along the process. I originally needed a new deck, since the old one that came with the house was falling apart. Nick came out for my estimate originally for the deck, but I knew I needed other work done to the house but just haven’t had the time to walk around and look to see what needed to be done. When Nick was finished with his work for the deck estimate, I asked him if he could help me walk around the house and eyeball what looked like it needed to be fixed ASAP. He gladly took time out of his day, to also look at the house, after the deck. He helped me look around and noticed that my windows had almost no sealant to them and they were fogging up between the pings. Nick gave me a recommendation to replace them that was a very good price and they look great! The deck turned out awesome and my utility bill has gone down a very good amount. I am very pleased!

We hired Classic Remodeling to replace our deck and to add an enclosed, screened in portion as part of it. We couldn’t be happier with the results!
It added an entirely new room to our home. The materials met all of our expectations, and the job took less time than we thought. They also were extremely responsive to fix a couple minor issues that surfaced after a few weeks. We were very impressed with their professionalism and work ethic. Highly recommended!

Classic Remodeling replaced an exterior door with a ProVia entry door and storm door assembly and replaced a couple of windows with Alside products. The crew of 5 or 6, headed by Santiago, arrived on time and began working immediately. Each member of the crew had their individual job, which they expertly performed steadily throughout the day.

Lead paint had been identified as an issue for this installation. The team masked off the interior of the house at the windows and door. Dust and dirt was limited to the immediate vicinity of openings and the crew removed all debris and thoroughly vacuumed the area when they completed the installation.

Detailed attention was given to the setting and securing of the door and each window to assure that it will work properly for years to come. They then finished off the installation with expertly designing, forming, and installing aluminum capping as required by this particular job and caulking all cracks, seams, and even the nail holes of the interior molding that had been replaced around the door.

The window work took about 5 hours while the door work took closer to 7. Once the window work was complete, debris removed, the area vacuumed and swept, the majority of the crew left and Santiago’s door technician (who had been trained at the ProVia factory) remained to finish the job.

Classic Remodeling supplied high quality products and expertly installed them with friendly and caring attitudes from all of the people involved from the first meeting with the sales person through the departure of the installation crew.

This is the 3rd time (2 roofing and 1 custom built composite Trek Deck) I've used Classic Remodeling and they have never let me down on projects. The crew arrived as scheduled and got underway to remove my old roof. After effectively assessing the particle board foundation, they replaced a few boards as needed, ensuring better support for my new roof. spent over twenty thousand dollars with them, and they did a fair job (do not know how to hang shutters correctly/evenly), but overall the house looked good....fast forward 8 years, and we needed a long list of work done, sent them a detailed message , and received no response at all, then we go to a home show two months later, and they are there with a big set-up advertising their company....when I asked why we never received a response, we were told it's because the owners are in their 50's and not good with computers, ok....then miraculously, a few days later Nick calls back and says he never responded to our email because he "didn't know how he could fit us in..." So much for loyalty, I won't be recommending this company to anyone

Nick and Classic Remodeling just finished a big siding job on our house and it was a very good experience overall.

Nick clearly knows his business. Their prices were competitive, and their contract terms were fair. The actual siding work came out looking really good.

There were a couple of minor issues after the initial work was completed, but Nick did a great job resolving things quickly and professionally.

Next time we need exterior work done on the property we are going to call Nick & Classic Remodeling first.

I have had a very poor experience with this company.
They do not keep their word and you have to chase them down to get a response only for them to continue to ignore you and not be responsive.

I waited over a month for an estimate (after they came to our home) and each time I inquired they said they would send and never sent. Out of curiosity I continued to pursue them because frankly after 1 week I knew we would not use them.

In today’s environment service and work ethic is critical and they do not represent that at all. Do yourself a favor and spend your money with a company that actually wants it.

I have been a repeat customer with Classic Remodeling for the past 16 years.
Nick has been involved in all my projects. His expertise, creativity and follow thru is quite an asset to the company.
I appreciate Nick and Classic Remodeling for making my home a castle.

I have had numerous companies perform work for me in the past 20 years. This one really stands out. In my previous home, I had the idea to bring life to a dark kitchen with the help of windows. Classic Remodeling sent Nick to give me ideas and let me know what was possible. He was so helpful and not pushy. Not only did he have ideas I hadn’t thought of, but he was willing to negotiate.They replaced some outdated windows with easy to open and clean ones. They also installed a new etched-glass (!) sliding door. The door installment required cutting a hole in the wall of my house. What was a small door and window had to become a 3-panel sliding glass door. The installments were done with such detail and quality - I felt like I was their only customer. The changes gave the house an entire new look. It went from dim and drab to wow! Family members saw the transformation and used this same company. I am currently in my second home and am sad when I see the cookie-cutter glass doors and difficult to clean (or open) windows I now have. I just contacted Classic Remodeling to start the journey on another best bang-for-your-buck redesign. Thank you guys, for being there for homeowners.
