The Covered Patio

After consulting with 4 other businesses, trying to convince me what they wanted me to buy I was ready to just put a tarp over my patio. But the reviews alone for Covered Patio gave me hope. The entire process from meeting with the sales rep, to the finished project was a Godsend!! No pushy salesman, they LISTENED! The project was well priced and completed in around 6 hours. Josh and his crew were on time, worked steadily without any cussing, drinking or smoking. All were very professional , kind and considerate. Not a bit of trash left anywhere. My patio covering is well built and looks beautiful. I would give 10 stars if I could and highly recommend The Covered Patio and their employees both behind the scene and on the scene to everyone. I will definitely use them again when needed!!!!

Quick and quality work, great communication, and courteous customer service.

Courteous staff and very good communication from everyone to include everyone from my sales rep Taylor, Customer care rep Austin, and everyone of the workers/vendors involved.

The delivery went smoothly and Nate was genuine and kind ensuring I knew next steps. Likewise, the crew that put up my Patio ensured to communicate and adapt to last minute changes to my order.

Josh, Miguel, Eddie, and Marlow all did amazing job and really solidified my confidence in the high quality of work from the company. Josh was even able to give me advice on more projects I want to get done.

Overpromise, underdeliver

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but our experience was as follows. After contacting The Covered Patio, they promptly sent out Justin to understand our needs and give a detailed estimate on 4/5/25. This was done within one hour of our consultation.
we were very impressed at this point. We paid for and were to receive renderings at a cost of $350 within one week (4/12)-if acceptable, we would sign a contract. But it didn't happen. After several follow-ups from us, they arrived on 4/21, 9 days after target date. The renderings bore little resemblance to what was discussed, and were going to be a clear non-starter due to the shape of our roof. And I don't know, but I'm not sure if Justin ever even reviewed these, because they came from someone else.

So on 4/23 I tried to make the project simpler-just quote for a 14 x 14 standalone structure, similar to ones on their website-Justin said he could provide a quote within 24 hours of receiving the estimated dimensions. But it didn't happen-had to follow up on 4/28 a.m. He responded within a couple of hours saying he'd definitely be sending new numbers that day. But it didn't happen. I reached out to him early that evening and was advised he would have it to me that evening. But it didn't happen. I received a text from him the following morning of 4/29, not the quote but just looking to confirm what was already discussed. Gave him an answer that same morning, and never heard back. So finally, on the morning of 4/30/25 I just gave up and advised him we'd be going somewhere else. Then my wife tried one more time by speaking to someone else in their office, Austin, who was going to send us the correct quote-but all he did was send the original quote, and he has yet to respond after my wife pointed this out. Another black hole, just a pattern of non-responsiveness. We were going to do business with them, and really liked Justin, but the consistent overpromising and underdelivering left us no choice but to go somewhere else. No one has the time to chase someone down to get them to deliver in accordance with their commitments. And the $350 for renderings that did not resemble what was discussed was money burned. DON'T RUSH TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT.

Professional and great value! Justin is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a covered patio or screen room!

We had a perfect experience with The Covered Patio, I reached out online and an agent was sent to the house very quickly to assess the job, I received a quote within a day or two, I gathered two other quotes and the Covered Patio beat them both, one by $10k! I was kept aware of when items were being ordered and delivered and when the job would start. The team, led by Josh, arrived early and got it all done in one day and in the rain! I had 1100sq ft of outdoor area screened in and it looks great, the workmanship is top notch.

Josh and his crew did an excellent job on our project! Josh estimated about 4 hours, but they finished in just 3 ½ hours without cutting any corners. The crew was professional, friendly, and took great care in cleaning up afterward. Our back patio looks amazing, and even our neighbors have complimented it. Highly recommend!

I had a screened in porch built by these folks. Joshua and his crew did an excellent job. I'm very happy with the result and it too up quite nicely to the terrible rain storms we just had. Josh handled the little glitches that inevitably happen quickly and easily and the guys I a great job cleaning up. I'd recommend them to anyone!

The retractable blinds are a great addition to our patio! The Covered Patio guys are responsive, knowledgable, and efficient, highly recommend.

The Covered Patio enclosed the back porch of our new home including working with the governing HOA to attain the requisite approvals. They did a professional job in supporting the HOA process and in completing the work; all in a timely manner. We are ecstatic with the results and gladly recommend them to others!

It was difficult to find a company that would provide an enclosed glass patio, but luckily The Covered Patio provides this service. And I would recommend them. Their installer Steve did a wonderful job on the installation to enclose our patio.
My only complaint was the length of time to get the materials for the installation. It took about 3 months, so you have to be patient. The supply chain from the supplier to The Covered Patio is slow especially for receiving customizing windows and doors. Why I deducted one star and gave four stars.

Three of our family members have used the covered patio. one had a pavilion and two had screened in patios, one on a concrete pad and one on top of the deck. The most recent is a screened in on a deck. Josh and his team did a great job and it only took 1 and 1/2 days. They were fast and efficient and cleaned up at the end of each day. The metal fencing on the inside of the screen, it's fantastic. if you have a cat or a dog, I would suggest that you have the metal fencing on the interior of the screen. it's also a great barrier for furniture or accidentally putting your foot through the screen. Would definitely upgrade to the better quality screen for durability and privacy . if you have a pet that you would like to have access in and out, be sure to upgrade the screen doors with a pet access door . they replaced the deck boards that were unusable and we will restain those and put carpet on top. happy with all of their work. would definitely use them again.

We had a wonderful experience with The Covered Patio, and Steve was a total pro, very impressive and did an excellent job in a timely manner. I will be using them for other projects in the near future. Highly Recommend.

They came a got my concrete slab and driveway extension framed and poured in 1 day. They do very good work.

The individual who built our screened porch did an excellent job. He was a one man show but did awesome work and knocked out the project in two days. The staff of the covered patio were easy to work with and very responsive to calls and emails. Also, well priced compared to their competitors. Definitely recommend.

Timely. Even with the weather not cooperating. Clean up afterwards was excellent. Friendly. I felt free to ask questions. No hidden costs.

These guys are amazing! We used The Covered Patio back in '22 for a simple screened porch. We were super happy with that project, so when we moved to a new home, I contacted them for an estimate on a larger project. This one was significantly more expensive, but worth every penny. I worked with Cole and Marcus on the front end; they were great during the planning stage. Josh and his crew came out to the house and wasted no time getting to it. Josh was sure to have all the details before starting the build. The final product was gorgeous! Everything was clean and crisp and done in 2 days! We definitely recommend The Covered Patio and can't say enough praise about Josh and his crew. Thank you!

Pleasurable and professional experience from the no pressure sales, competitive pricing, to the creative install to ensure everything fit snug after a beam had sunk slightly. If a tornado hits Im going under this deck they built! Not a 1/4 inch of wiggle on this thing. It was less then half the price of other quotes we got and they did it in a week.

Josh and his team came out and were great. There was a hiccup with the company that delivered the parts not fully delivering. Josh drove an hour and half away to get the parts and was back the next day to finish the job. We love our new covered patio!

Estimate was provided on 10/17/24 with Cole. Install was completed on 10/30/24. All parties dealt with from Austin, Marcus and installers were professional and courteous. Enclosure looks fabulous and very happy with the service received. Highly Recommend THE COVERED PATIO.

This company put in our beautiful porch several years ago, and when squirrels chewed a hole in the screen they repaired it quickly at a reasonable price. We love our porch!

Joshua (I think that was his name) & his team did a fabulous job on covering our deck. They were professional, answered questions & even fixed one of our steps (not part of the install) that could have been a catastrophe if they hadn't caught it. Of all the places I called for this project, they were the only one who showed up promptly to quote it, gave every detail & followed up immediately. So happy with them & highly recommend!

There was an initial project delay due to a miscommunication for which I was partly responsible. After contacting Marcus the situation was resolved and an expedited install was scheduled and executed without need for any additional follow up. The three man installation crew were skilled and worked carefully despite the hot weather conditions. We are pleased with the end result and would recommend this business to others.

I am very happy with the job. It was the sales person who gave the installers the wrong location for my door. Luckily I caught it in time and a resolution was able to be made. Everything was cleaned up and all trash removed.

Timely, capable, and deliver a quality product. Respectful and cleaned up after themselves. We wanted a simple screened in patio under our sunroom and they made that happen. There was even some challenging cuts to making it go around brick work. The process from start to finish was smooth and communication was great. And came in budget wise so much better than other companies. Mainly because they listened to what we wanted instead of wanting to add in all the extras. Would highly recommend The Covered Patio!

The Covered Patio did an incredible job on my motorized screens. My back patio is a completely different space. Marcus was great to work with during the sales process. He was very patient and walked me through various options to meet my needs. I ended up going with a lighter color shade, and I love it! Ben, the installer, did a fantastic job. He was kind, precise and made sure I was happy with the work. I'm so so happy and would highly recommend The Covered Patio.

P.S. While pricey, the Covered Patio offers the most competitively priced motorized shades around. I did a lot of research and was happy they offered such a great product at high but reasonable price compared to other companies.
