Team Construction - Butte, MT

I had to edit my review. They did great on my roof BUT...
It took a month to clean up the mess they left on my boulevard. I had to call First Source myself.
Today I have siding coming off the front of my house. It has been about 2 months.
The railing they took off my deck was never put back. I am just not happy at this point.

Excellent customer service and top quality work! They are very dependable, reputable and quickly completed a most complicated job! I do not hesitate to give them my highest recommendation.
Danny is wonderful to work with and very professional, I’m very impressed with the entire team.

We hired Teams to install a metal roof on our new log home. From the very beginning, Danny was an excellent communicator and very professional. He was very responsive to both phone and text messages. We had some challenges with receiving the metal due to a supplier issue. However, Danny took prompt action to resolve the situation and maintained ongoing communication throughout. Even though the process was frustrating due to the third-party supplier, he kept a positive attitude and was solution oriented. When the crew was on site, they worked tirelessly until dark and delivered a first-rate quality installation job with attention to detail. This company takes pride in their work and in delivering outstanding customer service! We highly recommend and we will be calling them again first for any future needs.

I couldn't recommend these guys enough. The project lead Danny was so helpful through the whole process. The team was quick and efficient in redoing our roof and making the whole situation stress-free.

The team manager is absolutely tops when it comes to customer service. Listens well and addresses any concerns you have. The team they sent were very fast, polite and quick to clean things up. They did my roof in one day and when they left the yard it was like they were never here. Would I hire them again for another property yes. You have the best when you have Team Construction on your project.

Update on the roof they did for the owner of the house we live in. This winter we had ice dams on the east end of the house, probably because they didn't properly use enough 'ice shield' in the valleys. When I asked if they used enough was told "I dont know". They over promised, over charged and were extremely messy. I would not recommend this roofing outfit.

Team Construction got my job done quickly. They also kept me informed and worked well with my insurance company. Would use them again and would recommend them.

I was very impressed by the professional service I received from start to finish with Team. Their bid was very reasonable. They were able to get to me quickly and the crew sent was professional, friendly, polite and on time! They cleaned up all materials and left my yard in perfect condition. The neighbors were impressed at how hard they worked. They got my house done in one day and did my garage in a few hours the following work day. With all the horror stories one hears about construction companies, this was not one of those! Great experience and I highly recommend them!

I write this review from both perspective as I am the tenant and the maintenance supervisor for Silver Bow Property Management.

Team Construction cold called one of our homes and the tenant referred them to the owner of the house. The owner of the house contacted them and allowed them to inspect and estimate replacement, then submitting this information to the owners insurance company. They insisted that they would be able to have insurance cover an entire roof rebuild because of the damages to the roof. After securing the contract they came back to the house and thanked the tenants wife for passing on the information to the owner and again insisted that they would be rebuilding the entire roof.

They were almost a week out on starting the job. The lack of logistics for the debris was sad. The debris fell where ever it may, some of the debris damaged the freshly painted porch in the front. The tenant spent quite a bit of time picking up pieces of roofing, cedar shake, pieces of torn shingles, nails, fasteners, paper when they were done... the first time.

I will say there crew is extremely fast. They had the new decking up and were installing the paper and shingles before I could check to see if things were being installed correctly. At that time I was quit impressed. I wanted to ask questions, but none of the crew spoke English and I don't speak Spanish. When they were completed with the pitched portion of the roof they left... the flat portion was not touched. In the process they took two of the tenants extension cords that have not been returned.

This is where this job got turned upside down. When I asked into this I was told the insurance doesn't cover areas of the roof that aren't damaged. I informed them by cutting away the roofing they exposed large areas of the roof that are no longer weather tight and was told that someone would come by to look at it.

The owner and the tenant were both under the impression that the job for 25k would cover a complete rebuild of the entire roof of the house and the garage. Everyone was surprised when this crew just left. If I had not inquired about this they would have left these compromises and the individual I spoke to acted as if I was interfering acting as an agent of the property owner, per my position as maintenance supervisor for Silver Bow Property Management. Very little to no communication from Team Construction on what they would do to fix this situation or when.

The whole issue from the start was the lack of communication. Had they been up front from the beginning on what actually was being done, they owner would have been able to make an informed decision and either pay for the extra work or pass until the appropriate funds acquired to have the job completed right the first time. This decision was taken from the owner and was left with, "we will get to this".

In the time between the replacement of the pitched portion of the roof and the flat portion Team Construction sent the owner a very direct email stating they will be placing a lean on the property if the owner did not pay. They did this even though the guaranteed that no money up front until the job was completed and there was obviously large hole in the roof where the weather could get in.

Weeks later they finally sent a crew back and replaced the flat portion of the roof. Again they left debris, nails, pieces of roofing all over the yard and sidewalk. The tenant spent a good portion of his own time picking up the nails out of the street and off the sidewalk. I asked for them to bring their magnet back to sweep the yard to that our kids and dogs don't step on any stray nails.

When this was all said and done Team Construction sent another bill for 1200.00 more to the owner of the property to cover the flat portion of the roof with no explanation of where this added expense came from or how they got to the 1200.00 rise in the original estimate.

This company is very difficult to work with as communication is not clear from start to finish. I would not recommend using them.

They did what they said they would do. All in one day and cleaned up everything as when they came. Excellent job and would recommend highly.

My roof looks great and was completed in two days including decking. Cleanup was excellent and the price came in right on quote.

The guys were very good and fast fixing our roof . They did a great job with the cleanup. We would recommend TeAm Construction to fix your problems. Thank you TeAm Construction for a job well done.

I worked with Scott Smith at Team Construction in June of 2021 to have my roof redone and I cannot speak highly enough about Scott and his crew! Scott was professional and prompt, easy to get ahold of, and always called me back in a timely manner if he was unavailable. From the inspection of the roof, to working with insurance, to the crew that did the actual roofing job, everything went smoothly and quickly - I highly recommend this company.

My husband and I were working outside on our house in Anaconda when Danny Sartain stopped by offering help on our roofing project. He provided extensive information that helped us file (and ultimately secure) a claim with our insurance company. Danny was extremely gracious and helpful, without his knowledge and expertise, we would never have gotten a successful claim. He followed up and we are now in the process of getting a roof bid.

I am very happy with the quality of customer service I received as well as the excellent job of roof replacement for the house and garage. The workers did such a fabulous job! Thank you!

I highly recommend Team Construction. Team is a very efficient, friendly and reliable company. The crew showed up when expected, were extremely quick and cleaned everything up so I didn’t even know they had been there. It was a massive job, 2 layers of shingles, a layer of cedar shakes had to come of. It needed sheeting before new shingles went on and they were done and cleaned up in less than two days. Definitely couldn’t ask for a better company.
