We were completely satisfied by TBS Construction and the completion of our bathroom project. Jay gave a timely and reasonable estimate and was able to assign a man immediately. Josh was attentive to the details of this project and arrived on time daily, prepared to work. He cleaned his work area and was respectful of our property. He even finished ahead of time. We are so happy we called TBS and would do so again.

We hired TBS to replace the rotting floors of our wooden porches at our Victorian farmhouse. To be honest, we were dreading loosing the look of the original wood and replacing them with a man-made product, but we needed weatherproof material. Jay came to our home and provided samples for us to consider. We picked one, and they knocked the job out quickly once the weather cooperated. When we saw the finished job we were not only pleased, but liked the look better than the original flooring - a totally unexpected surprise. Very pleased with our experience and the personal attention we received.

After a large tree took out part of our house, we were desperate for a trustworthy contractor. We contacted TBS and within hours three representatives showed up. Our experience over a few months was exceptionally good. One to ten scale? I’d give them a twelve! Subs all excellent. Showed up early, worked hard, cleaned up after themselves. I am just a client reporting on good work done. GREAT company.

We hired TBS Construction to make changes to our church sanctuary, required to allow our new organ to be installed. The changes were extensive, including removing the carpet in the choir loft and altar area, refinishing the existing hardwood flooring and adding hardwood flooring in the choir loft, changing the walkway from the Choir Room to the sanctuary to allow for wheelchair access. The sanctuary is nearly one hundred years old and there were a few surprises found as demolition began, including the lack of floor structure where the new wheelchair access was being created. Josh and his crew not only found ways to modify the existing structure, they were able to reuse most of the existing materials (including solid oak timbers that were ACTUAL 2 x 10, not 9-1/4 x 1-1/2). The end result is wonderful and has enhanced the worship space. I would not hesitate to use TBS again on such a project.

The first pictures show the sanctuary before the renovation. The last 3 show the results of TBS' work.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
