I can't begin to say enough good things about Moneta Farm and Home Center. They greeted me as soon as I walked in and were prompt to help me get new car keys cut. Very professional, affordable, customer oriented, and friendly! Also scenic drive on the way up. Thankful for their help today!

I had to replace the roof on my cabin. Moneta Farm & Home Center had the materials that I needed and at a better price than the department store companies. The staff was cordial and helpful.

I have always felt Moneta farm and garden was the best place around here to get quality products and the staff has always been knowledgeable and very helpful. A step up from all the other chain stores around here. I called ahead to check on top soil and they gave me the price and told me to come by and check out the quality and get some. It’s hard to get good top soil around here that doesn’t have clay in it. I drove an hour with a dump trailer I picked up and borrowed from a friend of mine to get the top soil. When I pull up the guy on the loader said they didn’t have any to sell. It was all scheduled for a delivery. I told him I had called in earlier and spoke to someone to make sure. I asked to speak to a manager but of course there wasn’t a manager there (which is weird I thought there was always a manager on duty). I ended up getting one tiny scoop that won’t do anything. I expect this stuff from other places but not Moneta farm and garden. It’s sad when you can’t even depend on calling ahead to make sure you can get what you need. I wasted 2 hours of driving, 30 minutes trying to figure out what they could do, and a bunch of gas to get what I could have just bought from Lowe’s in bags and not even worried with a dump trailer.

I love this place. They have so much variety: Gardening, flowers, tools, pet feed, animal feed, building supplies, electrical and plumbing supplies, grills, grilling tools and seasonings, and outdoor furniture. It's a huge store. I'd rather go here than Walmart any day!

I went in looking for a few specific things. I was asked if I needed any assistance right away. The thing is I really needed a little bit more help than they were willing to give. I moved on to a different area and found another person to help me with another project. This person was excellent. Overall, it is a very large place.

I can't imagine that you are looking for something and can't find it there!

If you found my review helpful please give me a thumbs up and feel free to follow.

If they don't have it, you don't need it.

It's very well stocked and a great selection. Don't be offended if some of the employees won't give you a smile. They are very knowledgeable. Other than that, it is a great place to find all your household, widgets, and garden supplies

Make sure to sign up for their rewards program. Every little bit helps in these troubling times.

All the staff here is magnificent. They go out of their way for the customer and have always pointed me in the right direction, or walked me right to my wall of interest. They are real people with a sense of humor. I appreciate them being my neighborhood store. Thanks!

Great power tool selection, decent support, cordial staff...though not as attentive and or as friendly as Capps. Good place for landscape materials.

Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.

2. How much does it usually cost to replace the roof of a commercial building?

3. What factors affect the overall roof repair cost?
+-

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?
+-

Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
