Bob Riddick roofing has helped us once again. Quick to come out and assess the roof damage, provide a fair quote but most importantly, came and did the repairs when they said they would. I am so grateful for knowing a great resource!

They came out quickly for the estimate and completed the job 1 week later! The staff were very responsive with answering many questions before we signed the contract and were also very knowledgeable and respectful. The job was completed within 1 day and our property was left very clean and tidy during and after the job. Very happy with the staff and services!

Due to extreme winds, shingles had and were continuing, to blow off of our home. Spoke with Michael, and he was able to schedule Mark to be here within 24 hours, who was also able to repair at that time, at a reasonable cost. Would highly recommend.

My roof was finished last week and the Riddick team did an excellent job. I am very pleased. They were on time, worked very hard, and were meticulous about cleaning up.They kept me informed throughout the process.

We have really struggled to find contractors to do the simple things like answer inquiries, show up to appointments, and complete their work. With this in mind, we contacted Michael at Bob Riddick Roofing in Moneta, Virginia and he responded to us right away, set an appointment and was on time. We received a competitive quote back in a few days. We received the quote in May, but couldn’t start the project until early September. Michael put us in the schedule for early September and told us to check in 7 to 10 days before we needed them to start. In early August, we moved the schedule up, and Michael was able to accommodate the change and set a date to start the project. The roofing crew arrived on time and stayed until all the work was complete. The roofing crew was professional, careful, clean, neat, and overall dedicated workers. We’re completely satisfied with the final product, but also with all communication and interaction with Michael (General Manager) and Bobby (Roofing Project Manager) at Bob Riddick Roofing of Moneta, Virginia. They earned all 5 stars (beginning to end) on this roofing project.

Your crew was friendly dispute language differences. The job looks good, they cleaned up very well and I can't see that anything was damaged. I would certainly recommend them based on our experience.

Did a great job replacing my roof. Very professional, fixed a few minor issues I had with guttering and cleaned up everything afterwards.

100% satisfied - Small repair job. Quick to respond to repair quote. Gave upfront realistic estimate on scheduling time (2 months) - which was ok with me. Right at the 2 months mark they called to say they had an opening the next day...which worked for my schedule. Showed up at stated time (8:30 am). 2 crew trucks (4 guys). Introduced themselves, said they knew the details of the job...went to work. Job took about the time projected, cleaned up, showed me the work. Invoice received by email a couple days later for the quoted amount. What more can you ask for - 100% satisfied. As long as a reasonable quote is offered, I will use Riddick Roofing for all future needs.

I had them fix a leak on my mother's house. They had a cancelation and were able to come out much earlier than expected. All appears well, I have not inspected it yet personally, but the photo's I received look like they did a great job. thanks for taking care of mom.

Very professional crew. They kept the job site clean and organized and they left no trash behind when the job was complete. They replaced the entire roof of my 2000 Sq ft. Ranch in a day and a half.

The roofing crew consisted of nine roofers and a crew chief. The tear-off and re-roofing was completed in a single day! Concurrent with this job was the removal of two skylights and installation of two "Solar Tubes". All work was professional in every regard. It wasn’t a good sign when it took 7 months after signing the contract for them to schedule our roof installation. Then, they didn’t take enough care to properly cover the exposed roof knowing it was going to rain the next day. This resulted in my attic and mud room taking on water. There is visible damage to the mud room ceiling and the light fixture no longer works. The attic is trickier to get in and see so I’ll leave it at that. Then, they were careless with the phone line that is also the internet connection and managed to sever it. To further exacerbate the situation, the crew joked about flooding the attic and didn’t say anything about the cut line until my husband said something. The only positive thing is the roof looks better than it did. Now to deal with the mess left behind.

The roof photos show how it looked when they left the day before the rain and after they came out the next day to try to address the issue.

I know it’s not the fanciest house but it’s my home and it and my family deserved better than what was given.

UPDATE: Received a call on Sunday and Mike was to come out Monday to meet with my husband. Around noon Mike wanted to reschedule to late Tuesday morning. Another example of poor customer service.

Found more water damage (see additional image). For reference, I took before pictures of every ceiling in the house.

My experience could not have been better. I had shingle damage from a wind storm with a rainstorm on the way. Their response was immediate. I was a new customer and was treated like I had worked with them for years. Needless to say they are on my go-to list going forward.

Devin and his crew were wonderful. I appreciated his clear communication and timeliness on the day of service. I am so happy that my roof is fixed and no longer leaking.

Update 2: They gave us a quote to fix the issue. It has been fixed without any further issues. Changing to 4 stars.

Update: Bob came out and they found a temporary fix to the roof until a permanent fix can be done.

We used Bob Riddick to install a new roof a few years ago. This summer, we notice 4+ leaks in the roof. We called Bob Riddick who sent guys out to take a look. The guys said the leaks were caused by vent caulk dry rotting but it was covered under warranty and someone would come out to repair it. Weeks later, they came out and said they fixed it.

The next week, I found a different leak. They came out, found the issue, said it was covered under warranty, and they would come back out to fix it. They did not fix it while they were here on the first visit either time.

It’s been nearly a month and I called today asking when they’ll be out to fix the recent leak. The lady that answers the phone says the same thing she always does. She doesn’t have details and will have to talk to Bob and get back to me. I didn’t hear back from her today and the water keeps coming in.

When I went to my room for the night, I noticed the first leak they repaired due to the dry rotting caulk around the vent is leaking again. A huge puddle of water on my hardwood floor and ceiling is completely damaged. I’ll try to add photos.

I just want the roof fixed without having to worry and pay for repairs every time it rains.

I called again this morning and the lady at the desk said it isn’t their fault it is leaking, but they were fixing it to be kind. I reminded her that it isn’t fixed, they’ve been out here four times and said one side was fixed, but no results.

Whether it is their fault or not, they said they would fix it and it isn’t. If it’s not your fault, then give us a quote to fix it. If you can’t fix it, say so and we’ll go somewhere else. We’re not unreasonable. We just need the information. None of this happened.

We called about a leak and the repair was made the same day. It was completed before the rain came again. Very fortunate indeed!

We needed a substantial remodel on our SML house. Bob Riddick Home Services (BRHS) has done work on our roof since before we purchased that house; including some minor repairs and a softwash to enable a few more years on the roof before we bite the bullet and go for a new roof.

When we decided to begin the remodel, we simply choose BRHS. We didn't bother with multiple quotes because BRHS's reputation was solid gold. It still is.

Our Project Manager, Tripp Parker was not only knowledgeable, professional, and punctual, but he has great patience when working with a sometimes difficult customer (me). He was invaluable! I was given a lot of leeway concerning products and materials that I wanted to use and as such, often made decisions that involved plan changes. For example, I moved a wall and wanted a Barn Door that was more than 120-inches. I couldn't find anything that I liked, so Tripp had one "built" for me. I love it!

Tripp's Number One, Shawn Jolliff was experienced, professional, creative, and unflappable! Doors, floors, and windows sometimes don't play well together, but Shawn would finesse them and make them work together.

Phase 2 is going to begin this year and we will certainly use Bob Riddick Home Services again.

The crew was conscientious and responsible. They cleaned up the job site daily and reported details to us as homeowners when they encountered complications with the original plan. They took responsibility for an accidental minor damage to our property by fixing a broken railing. So far, so good on the repair to our roof and chimney and it looks like a job well done!

James was very professional and courteous. We have not examined the roof yet as it rained, but we are sure it is just fine. Everything was put back in place with no inconvenience to us.

We had our house soft washed and the service was excellent. The staff was running behind schedule, but were very accommodating. What they didn't finish the first day, they arrived early the next morning to finish the job on the weekend. Reliable, reasonable rates and excellent results. Well worth it!

Our roofing job was finished just today. Bob Riddick's team. led by Devin Blankenship, did a fantastic job and my wife and I couldn't be more pleased with their work or the results. Our beautiful new brown aluminum roof has transformed the house. The men were punctual, hard-working, most pleasant, and really careful with detail as they worked. My wife expressed how impressed she was with how they carefully cleaned up all debris each afternoon before leaving. They even cleaned our skylights and cleared the gutters! Devin spotted several details, beyond the roofing under contract, that needed fixing and repaired them. As the old song goes, "Who could ask for anything more?" Michael is amazing, thorough, efficient, and has excellent person to person manner. His work is outstanding. We also met Bob the owner and his experience and knowledge is quite impressive. We will use these guys for whatever they will do for us....seriously... and we are tough customers because of some less than optimal experiences with other home projects. We would award more stars if available for sure.

As always, the Bob Riddick's team did an outstanding job. After James and his guys completed the SoftWash our house and dock looks like they were just painted. They got off all the mildew from the white trim, gutters, deck railings and the siding. The SoftWash system in the hands of James and his team worked much better than power washing has ever done. For some reason that I do not understand, my review came up with 1 star but my review should be 5 stars. The below comments explained why Bob Riddick Roofing should be given 5 stars. I see this happened with another reviewer so I wonder if there is a problem with the star system. There surely is no problem with Bob Riddick Roofing!
Bob Riddick Roofing installed our roof when the house was built 21 years ago. We live on a lake with great exposure to wind from the West. Every year we sustain very high winds and shingles blow off. Bob Riddick Roofing is always very prompt with fixing the blown off shingles and at a very reasonable price. They do a great job. 5 stars!
