Overall order was about $16 thousand. On the scheduled day a huge group of workers from Latin and South America appeared on my door steps. They installed windows and also scratched hardwood floors on first floor, second floor, and staircase. Not just light scratches, I am talking about deep white grooves. Also they ripped off outdoor thermometer and threw it without telling me, damaged the part of wall plaster. I would get the same work quality if I just went to local Home Deport and hired day workers.

Very happy with the entire experience getting new windows installed. We shopped around and Taylor Rae's pricing was very reasonable. The quality of the windows and the installation craftsmanship were amazing. Clean, courteous, very thorough on their follow-up at the end of the project before final payment. I hired Taylor Rae for two projects, ten years apart. Most recently, last year, they replaced my old sliding glass door. Ten years prior, they replaced my casement windows. I cannot speak more highly of Jeff and his team. For both projects, the work was performed to the highest quality. Everyone involved went out of their way to answer all my questions, both prior to start of work, and after work began, and they made sure I was perfectly satisfied with everything. Taylor Rae installed new windows in our townhome. They were so great to work with. Due to the HOA process, we needed pre approval from the HOA Board and our salesperson, Nick prepared all of documents quickly and up to standard. They were very communicative. Of the people that came to provide a quote, Jeff was the most personable and took the time to answer with very understandable and rational explanations for all of the questions that we had about the roof itself, improving the attic space, the options for the new roof. I can't say enough about my experience with Taylor Rae. Jeff made it a point to personally meet with me about the work we wanted completed (new front door + storm door + 3 new windows). Replaced all the windows in my home (about 25) Team was neat, professional, and got the job done on time and on budget. Had a little difficulty with the inside trim on my circle-top windows, but all in all, job well done.

We used Taylor Rae to replace the last 7 sash weighted windows in our 90yr old home. Our need was specific...3 over 1, stainable wood interior/vinyl clad exterior. Jeff directed us to exactly what we wanted ...at hundreds less per window than we anticipated .
The order came in and the job was performed when we were told it would be. Crew was neat and efficient. We love the windows.
Fast forward 2 months... some of the polyurethane snagged a piece of weather stripping which pealed away a bit. I sent a pic to Jeff asking how I should repair it. He shows up at my house 30 minutes later and fixes it for us. 6 Months later we get a follow-up inspection of every window.

We needed to replace all of the windows on our house and since that's a large expense decided to "try out" whoever we chose with first replacing two large front-facing windows. Taylor Rae passed the test and we're now going with them to replace the remaining windows and a door. On both occasions, Nick the sales associate was professional, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all - no gimmicks or slimy sales tactics as you will see from other window salesmen. The installation crew was also professional and treated our home with respect - very quiet and clean (rare to see these days!) - not to mention the flawless install. I'm not in construction but know craftsmanship when I see it. Top quality all around. Finally, Jeff the owner was nothing short of exceptional when there was a hiccup with the order and he made it right. I wish all contractors were at this level. Taylor Rae provided excellent and professional installation of our entire home's windows including two sliding glass doors. they were installed about 18 months ago and they are beautiful. The new windows kept the winter cold and drafts out. Taylor Rae was easy to interact with and even came out to our home one year later to test each of the windows and doors to see that they were operating properly. One was not and the service technician corrected the issue on the spot. We would highly recommend this company for your home improvement needs.

We had recently purchased a charming home from the 1930s that still had it's original windows (including sash weights in the window). While charming features, a lot of the windows no longer operated well, and the heating and cooling bill was out there.

We reached out to several vendors for replacement, but ultimately went with Jeff and team due to their knowledge and professionalism. In total they replaced 35 windows on the house, which was almost all the windows (apart from a few that had been replaced previously).

Jeff wasn't pushy at all, and showcased that he really valued the long term interests of both his clients and reputation. For example, we were planning on replacing the newer windows in the kitchen (4 in total), since one of the newer windows had a thermal seal break. However, Jeff informed us the window installed there was from a reputable manufacturer, and that we could reach out to the manufacture to get a replacement under warranty for free (even though it was installed by the owner before us). This saved us money, and consequently cost him business - which goes to show how much he cares about his customers and reputation.

The installation itself was quick and professional. It took two and half days due to the volume of windows, but the work was exceptional. We had even done a full frame replacement of a three window bay (with a gorgeous picture frame), and Jeff's team custom built a molding and chair rail that fit in with the 90 year old intricate molding that pre-existed in the room - going above and beyond what I think most installers would do.

I had a very positive experience with Taylor Rae when I had new windows installed in my home. Taylor Rae came recommended to me on my town’s Facebook page. Very nice, friendly installers and salespeople. I liked that I was suggested a few different types of windows - it was helpful to have the choice as there are many alternatives to a typical double hung window. Very satisfied and I really like my new windows.

These guys are great. Super knowledgeable and willing to spend the time to discuss anything you have questions about. Nick does the sales and thoroughly explains their products and their process. Jeff is the owner -- and I appreciate that someone with an engineering PhD is running this company! They do things right. I found out about them through a website that does windows reviews. Said they were the best window company in NJ. I started researching them myself. I love the videos they have online of them explaining their projects. I had Nick come out about a garden window for my townhouse. It is such better quality than the windows everyone else in the community replaced their original contractor window with. In addition, they pulled a miracle during install and saved my original quartz window ledge, which they thought they were going to have to demo. When we moved, I had them do our roof and gutters and all that stuff. It not only looks amazing, but my interior contractors had to get on the roof to check our hood vent, and they said Taylor Rae did an amazing job. When doing the roof, Taylor Rae replaced our three skylights and I am soooo happy with them. We've had so many storms and so much wind this year -- the perfect test conditions -- and we've had zero problems. I appreciate that Jeff always responds to my emails, even about the dumb little things. I have had such bad luck with construction - it's such a relief to know that you're working with smart, dependable people and that you don't have to worry. Oh, and they finished the roof in a day - the hottest day last summer, too! It was amazing. (The person who replaces the gutters comes back and does that on a different day, so 2 days total!)

They are mid-range in terms of price - definitely not the cheapest but not anywhere near the most expensiveness. I think they deliver an amazing quality for a reasonable price. And the warranty is on parts and their labor. I actually did not choose them to replace my windows and regret it. We were doing a lot of repairs at once and I needed to cut costs somewhere. I went with another family-run local business, who did fine, but if I could have afforded it, I would have much rather gone with Taylor Rae and their superior product.

I used Jeff and team to replace siding, install new windows, install a new door and replace a roof. He is thorough with explaining the work involved and he is not high pressure. In fact he gave me his recommendations on where to upgrade and where not to upgrade and save money. The quality of material and most importantly the quality of work is top notch and his pricing is reasonable and fair. I recommend Taylor Rae without hesitation. And I will only use them for my home improvements and repairs.

I used Taylor Rae to install 16 windows in our home. The crew was clean and professional. The windows look great and the one plus is the trim around the windows they install comes painted. Other companies that I quoted left it up to the homeowner to paint the interior trim.

We had a new front door installed and the installation team was amazing. They put the molding and everything back just the way it was before they took the old door out. Excellent job and I would use them again, no doubt.

We had a new front door installed by Jeff, Nick and team and they did an awesome job! Couldn’t be happier with their work. Looking forward to having them come back in the future to tackle a bay window! They are awesome.

We had our Roof and Gutters replaced . From the first phone contact thru the quote process and actual installation I was impressed with the professionalism , knowledge and quality workmanship . They were very flexible and understanding of our individual situation because we just moved in and we are in the process of having other work done so they were very accommodating in scheduling the work . I would recommend and consider using Taylor Rae again for a future project .

Update 2/15/23: Chris had called us a few months ago to schedule a one year check on our windows. During the inspection he noticed the string that keeps tension on the window was broken on one of the windows in our bedroom. He took care of everything! Ordered the replacement piece and came back and installed it. Such a great company that stands by their work and the products they use.

Just a pleasant and positive experience all around. Nick came, educated us on windows and showed us our options. Jeff helped us with the financing process and did final measurements himself. Windows took a while to come in, but totally not their fault...everything is longer since COVID! Installation was scheduled within a week of windows arriving. Crew was fabulous!! Hard working, professional and did a great job cleaning up. Jeff came by while they were being installed to make sure everything was right.

It's now just over a week since our windows were installed. They're beautiful! They've made such a difference in the noise level and even the brightness of each room as compared to looking out old, dull windows.

This company does it right and made the whole process painless!! We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Taylor Rae installed several new Sunrise windows in our home in April. We're so happy with the quality of the work and so glad we chose this company. I really appreciate that Taylor Rae doesn't use any pushy sales tactics (unlike the other window companies I contacted). Everyone we worked with throughout the process was very helpful and professional. Nick explained our options, answered our questions, and showed us what types of windows we could choose from. Jeff came to do the final measurements, explained more about the windows and installation process, and kept in touch while we were waiting for our windows to arrive. Jeff also stopped by after installation to fix a small issue. The installation team did excellent work and cleaned up very well after the job. We had a great experience replacing some windows, skylights and a patio door by Taylor Rae last fall. We got several estimates from different contractors i.e. Andersen, Pella, a few local contractors while making a decision on the replacement. Although, it was not the cheapest, our experience with Jeff and his team at Taylor Rae was top notch and worth the peace of mind. When Jeff came out for the initial estimate, you could tell he was an expert in his field but humble and not pushy like a salesperson would be. When we went out to his showroom, he gave us his full attention in showing us the variety of options and answering every question my wife and I had. This meant a lot of us and goes a long way in saying what kind of person he is. I say this because we definitely spent over an hr and a half asking him questions. After the decision to move forward was made, and contracts signed, Jeff even reached back out to recommend a change to a higher quality patio door at no additional cost due to quality issues his install team was experiencing with what we had contracted. Communication was kept with us while we waited for our replacements to arrive and John, Manny, Maria and the rest of the install team were respectful of our time and space, arriving on-time every day, wearing masks, cleaning up as they went and at the end of every day. John was the head man on-site and was always in tune with the team’s progress and status and communicated them to me. I was really impressed by them all. I would definitely recommend Taylor Rae to my family and friends for the high-quality professionalism, customer service and great experience.

We couldn't be happier with our new front door. The front door is the first thing we see when we pull up to our house and I love the "clean" look that the house now has. The first picture(the green set of doors) is the before and the second picture is the after. Jeff and his guys were so easy to work with through the whole process- especially because we had a very hard time finding a set of doors to fit in our unique size space. Jeff and his crew did an amazing job from start to finish. We went through all the quoting process with competitors as anyone would. The only thing I regret is wasting all that time with others. The windows were top rated, the install was great. Jeff was upfront and a joy to work with. A whole house full of windows is scary and a big investment. After discussing the job with Jeff I had nothing but confidence and he delivered. His crew fought the elements to get the job scheduled and completed as soon as the windows arrived. I look forward to doing business with Taylor Rae in the future and have already recommended them to 2 other friends. Taylor Rae was not the cheapest or the most expensive. But we weren't looking for cheap nor overpriced. The windows and the job are worth every penny.

Taylor Rae replaced 14 windows in my house. It was a difficult job because we needed 3 of them to be done as new construction as well as enlarging the opening for the bedroom window. I have to say they did a great job and even my father-in-law was impressed with their attention to detail and how well they cleaned up. Their price was very reasonable for such great windows and I was impressed that Jeff, the owner of the company, was on the job the whole time.

We hired Taylor Rae construction to replace a 2nd story leaking bay window on the front of my house. They did a great job and installed the proper flashing so the window will never leak again. Excellent workmanship and cleaned up very well.
