I have used Synergy a few times, and EVERYTIME they've delivered. I had to get the main room on my house replaced in 2018, and Joey and his crew did an amazing job. In 2021, after one of our hurricanes, I called him again for one of my rental properties, and in 2025, he still checks up on me to make sure everything is going well. Quality work, local craftsmen and roofers, and an honest price. You can't beat it.

I love this company! I had a problem yesterday and he showed up the very next morning and fixed it very professionally and very inexpensively! He’s great!

Synergy Roofing does outstanding work with highly skilled workers in a timely fashion with superior products and materials, attending to every need of the customer, including excellent communication and explanation, and most reasonable prices. The owner, Joey Harsdorff, is personable and easy to know. He shoots straight. He is hands on all the way, start to finish. He is present on site regularly throughout the day every day monitoring closely every part of the job and his workers, supervising to insure everything always is proceeding toward excellent results. Plants in the beds around the house are protected with large tarps. Site cleanup is complete and careful. When they are gone, you hardly would have a clue they were there, except for the beautiful new roof above. Joey has been in the business a long time and knows roofing deck to shingle, inside and out. He carefully helps the customer navigate today's chaotic insurance waters. He is licensed and insured. Do yourself a great favor and give Joey a call.

Highly recommend. I had a timeline to get this done from my insurance company and he knocked it out in plenty of time left for me. Sent me tons or pictures, and being out of state that made me feel at peace. Also, just seems like a really good guy which goes a long way

Synergy did an excellent job on my roof installation, and it looks clean as a whistle. Handled everything I needed for insurance reimbursement, too. When I had a shingle crack due to storm damage, Joey had it repaired within a couple days. Great service and easy to deal with.

Joey was very thorough in explaining the condition of our roof and advised when and how to maintain it. He also was able to guide me in the process of determining the next style of roof for replacement.

Contacted many roofers after Ida and these folks were the only ones who would do a difficult job that had some additional work required to make the job be done correctly.
One and a half years later I had a leak around a vent and they came and fixed with one days notice. Refreshing.

Just had a new roof installation done by Synergy Roofing. From the time I requested a quote to the completion of the job was very expeditious. Joey and his team were on location early and worked nonstop except for a short lunch break. The foreman Javier and his crew worked in a well coordinated pace. I recently purchased a new residence and wanted a qualified roofer inspection. I was referred to Joey by a friend and reached out. Joey was unable to complete the inspection due to his current high demand. However, he gave me three other names to contact for help, one of which he called personally to ensure I received prompt service. Even though Joey was unable to help on my inspection this time, he has gained a customer for the future when I need future roofing repairs.

CAUTION: Synergy Roofing seems to be operating without a general contractors license. If you are repairing or replacing your roof after a storm using homeowners insurance, you will be asked to show proof of repair from a licensed company. I am going through this now and cannot renew with my current insurance company because Synergy is not providing their contractor license number which is required to show proof of repair. It is costing me several thousand dollars on an increase in insurance rates through a different company. I have reached out to Joey multiple times to clarify or rectify this issue. To date, he has not returned my calls over the last several weeks. The company nor Joey are listed in the state contractor database.

Edit: Following the reply from the business owner on 11/8/22, I checked the Louisiana Contractor database and confirmed that he was recently licensed with the state as of 8/15/22. He was not licensed in 2021 when the work was performed as he indicated in his response which is VERY misleading as he was never in communication with my insurance company. Move forward at your own risk.

After hurricane Ida, we had the representative for Synergy Roofing come out to inspect roof damage. I decided to have the roof work done by him and his team. They not only did a great job on the roof, but an amazing job removing the debris.
I'm so happy I followed my heart and not my head. Thank you Synergy Roofing and your team for a great job!

Synergy was extremely prompt in coming out and doing an emergency patch after the hurricane and then replaced the roof 2 weeks later.

I’ve used Synergy Roofing twice in the past year: first to have a wind turbine installed, and then to have some post-Ida roof work.

The owner, Joey, is very responsive and fast with communications, which is important to me.
He was very hand-on with the turbine installation - coming out to check my home, the square footage, and the layout. I was planning to have two turbines installed, but he explained why one would be sufficient for my home. This saved me money, which i appreciate.

After the hurricane, i needed someone to protect my roof after patches of shingles were blown off. Even with the high demand, he was very responsive and provided very fast service. I was very thankful. Synergy will be who i call when i get the approval to move forward with repair work to the roof.

Synergy was amazing to work with! Generally, with any contractor, it is necessary to be on location overseeing the job daily. The communication from the owner, Joey, made this unnecessary, allowing us to focus on our lives outside of the project. He sent pictures of the work daily, was proactive in responding to complications due to the age of the property; his billing statements were clear, accurate, and predictable (not the case with other contractors we have worked with), his estimates were spot on, and he was pleasant and professional in all of his communications. We have never seen a roofing crew work as hard as this crew worked. Their knowledge of their profession goes way beyond the norm. They were extremely professional and a pleasure to have as visitors on the property. This was a large, brutal, extensive job. Joey and is team were diligent to the core each and every day. They were punctual, diligent, and finished when they said they would, which required working from sun up to sun down every day. Synergy Roofing is a top notch company that goes out of their way to provide superb professional service. From start to finish, Synergy was responsive and helpful, in guiding me through the process and optional materials, even before I closed on my new home. As soon as I closed on the home, they started work right away and did not miss a beat in letting me know and quickly resolving issues like termites and rotted wood, which they found during the full re-roof of my main house and back shed. Soooooo apparently they say they came out and they say they called and left a voicemail non of which actually happened so when I leave a negative review days later then it is ok to call and badger me about the bad review. Maybe if you were this concerned about your work this wouldn't be on here. You could of just as easily called and tried to better the situation instead your star rating is more important than actual work. Be warned if you call this company because if you leave a negative review they will call you.

I had one company come out and give me an estimate for roof repairs and they told me it would cost $1500. I was a little suspect so I decided to get a second opinion. I called Synergy. Joey came out and inspected the roof with me and gave me an HONEST assessment of the problem which I agreed with. He calked a few potential cracks in tar along a roof flashing, charged me $20 (twenty dollars), and that was the end of that. I can't stress how much appreciation I have for this guys honesty and integrity.

I recently moved to the area and reached out to many places but Synergy was able to provide a quote and fix the issue, faster than other companies would return a phone call. *Update: It's been two years and two major hurricanes (Zeta and Ida) with 100+mph winds. This roof is still going strong with absolutely zero problems. This is what I call a roof that's built to last.

Working at an architecture firm I had access to countless recommendations for roofers. None came even close to as highly recommended Synergy Roofing came. Joey promptly returned my call and set a date and time to survey the roof. I received an estimate for the repairs within the next day. The scope of work was to replace the ridge cap which was mismatched and not properly installed.
Through my interactions with Joey I knew he was knowledgeable and trustworthy. I was traveling when the repair took place. Joey kept me updated with photos of the repair throughout the repair. He also kept be abreast of any issues and called to advise when the work was completed.
Once I returned home I could not have been anymore happier with the job Joey had done. The new ridge cap was beautifully installed. The work site was also thoroughly cleaned with no trace of debris in sight. Fortunately, the repair occurred a day before heavy rain and high wind returned to the area. There were no signs of any leaks!

Joey was prompt and addressed all my concerns. He fixed my problem and walked the roof, to make sure everything was good. He does not overcharge, very fair with pricing.

Very satisfied with the professionalism. Synergy came in got the job done in a timely manner and the finished product is everything I expected and more!!
