Joshua was great from start to finish! He responded promptly, kept me updated and did exactly what he said. He stayed on the roof with workers the entire time, monitoring the work and progress. I did get other roofing estimates, but they did not address the issues I knew were there. I feel like Above All Construction was committed to quality. Everything was spic and span when they left.
I really appreciate the honesty and good work. They will be on speed dial for other home projects!

Was referred by my son-in-law to contact Pete to see if he could help me out, we had a short timeframe and the recent Artic Blast did not help. Pete was very easy to speak with and delivered on his promise to complete the job in a timely fashion! Steve and Boyd showed up on time and even cleaned up behind themselves removing all debris created with the job task!!! This is rare to say the least in this day and age.......

Above All did my flat roof a few years ago and they did a good job so I called them when a sudden leak occurred where the flat meets the tile roof. My call was immediately answered, Josh called me back 10 minutes later and we set up a time to meet. Pete, Josh and a roofer came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed the leak which was caused by wind driven rain near a roof drain. This was one of the best customer experiences I have ever had from a roofing company. They built me a solid roof and they stand by their work.

We are newer to NOLA and had to have major repairs to our roof after we purchased our home. Fortunately we found Above All Construction. From the first meeting with Josh to discuss our options, to the crew who worked on our roof, to addressing our concerns we were with respect and patience.

The quality of the workmanship is solid and when we had a leak, because we decided not to get a new roof at this time, they came out fixed the leak and explained why there was a leak.

So when we finally get a new roof in a couple years Above All Construction will be who we hire.

I am very pleased with the overall process and finished work from Above All Construction. The quote process was timely. The contract and paperwork was very seamless and straight forward online. And the workmanship and professionalism was top-notch.

If there was an example of unprofessional in the dictionary, this business or at least their employees would be it. My husband and I have been dealing with Pete for almost a full year and my roof is still leaking!
At first, we were told it was an easy patch job, the workers came out in a couple days and it was done in under an hour. A few months later, my roof leaks again in the same spot. Under warranty, they come out again to fix it but this time stated that we need new shingles and the AC could be leaking.
1. The AC was already ruled out as a cause
2. Why wasn't that stated during the first assessment and quote consultation?
Nevertheless, it was worked on yet again.
As of today MY ROOF IS STILL LEAKING IN THE SAME SPOT. My husband texts Pete once again to go unanswered and then proceeds to have the most unprofessional phone call about fixing it AGAIN and possibly applying a tarp to the area because all the while, my interior ceiling is still taking in water damage. I understand that may not be a service you provide but could you not simply answer a text implying so?
We were told in the beginning we would be valued as customers and that has not been our experience at all. Do yourself a favor and find someone else who takes pride and ownership of their work because you won't find that here.

When looking to install a replacement roof on our newly purchased home, Joshua with Above All Construction was prompt in his response to our inquiry and was very well informed about all the aspect required to replace our old roof with the latest GAF roofing material to qualify our home in the Fortified Roof Program. After receiving the estimate, we were put on the scheduled promptly and his crew was very professional in their workmanship and accomplished the roof replacement in one day - all under Josh's supervision and in coordination with the Fortified roof inspector. The crew and Josh were also very meticulous in their cleanup after the work was completed. All in all a very good experience in replacing our old roof just before hurricane season!

I think they did a fantastic job on the roof. The communication about the scheduling and times to arrive was spot on. I was very happy the crew was big enough to get the job done in one day. They seem like they worked very hard and fast. The supervisor on site to monitor and update us on progress was great. I would definitely recommend your company to anyone looking to get a roof replaced or installed . The cleanup was a big concern for me, but the team was awesome . They had everything handled to keep the mess contained and they were very thorough with their cleanup. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate them as a 10.

Love this company. They do GREAT work. Pete has more commercial and residential knowledge on roofing than almost anyone in and around the city and Josh cares about each job he manages and sells as if it was his own home or business.

If I could give it 6 stars I would. hands down one of the best roofing companies I've had work done by in my life. Extremely professional, very punctual and great communication. Supervisor was there the entire time communicating with us as well as the guys doing the work. Even went to my neighbors afterwards to clean up any mess they may have made. Was here before 7 AM and completed by 2 PM. Complete tear off as well as replaced a couple portions of rotted plywood, still got done before the day was over. beautiful end product and great quality. What else more can you ask for. Highly highly highly recommended, Above All the others.

From the start with the estimate to the installation they were professional, informative, and most of all up front on every aspect of the roofing job. Pricing was competitive and the warranty is unbeatable. For the next 10 years, no matter the wind speed of our next storm we won't pay a dime to fix the roof. And with a $9000 deductible that is huge both for our finances and peace of mind. The roof looks great and they were able to repair deck damage we had no idea was there. Above All was the only company I reached out to that was willing to agree to a small project (<$10k). Handyman companies didn’t feel comfortable with structural repairs, and no other general contractor felt that it was even worth coming out to give me a proposal. Fortunately, Above All happened to be far more responsive, efficient, honest, flexible, and reasonable than I could have hoped.

Joshua, the project manager, was able to come out to our house the next day, and he provided a proposal the day after that. They were able to schedule the work for a week after I signed the contract. I decided to expand the scope of the project after Above All began work, and they had no issues accommodating the requests and quickly communicating costs, which were very reasonable. The work was complete in just 3 days, and they meticulously covered all furniture and appliances and cleaned up after the job was complete.

I highly recommend Above All and will absolutely work with them again.

This company was the only business willing to do a small repair post Ida. They kept in touch with me for months updating me on when they could get to me due to staffing and supply chain issues.
The proposal process was painless and the price for the job was very competitive. They completed the siding job and updated me on everything they did after completion.

They came out gave us a quote with a booklet to pick out our shingles. Once me made our decision, they were out the next day to drop off the materials and get the job started. Pete and his team were a pleasure to work with. Extremely responsive and prompt. From the time of inspection to job completion, it was only a few days. Given that we had a roof leak, he made an effort to get it repaired asap to prevent more damage. Every time I spoke with anyone from this company, they took their time to answer any questions and were always polite and respectful. Erwin, who worked on our roof, was able to locate and fix the damaged spot within about an hour, when other roofers/inspectors could not identify the problem area on multiple trips. Another consideration: Pete did not recommend any extra work that was not necessary. There was a question of replacing sheathing, but I appreciate honesty/transparency in telling when a job does not need to be done in order to save money. Will definitely do business with them again and I enthusiastically recommend!

Brand New Roof held up during Hurricane Ida! No leaks! No shingles missing! No damage from the Category 4 winds of Hurricane Ida! Pete and his team did an excellent job installing our new roof in November 2020. The team kept the area around our home clean and completed the job on time. Arrived when they said they would and finished when they said they would. Pete is who you need to call to install your new roof and if you need any skylights serviced.

These guys did a great job. Roof looks amazing and they did the entire thing in one day. Pete is very responsive and personable, and he does what he says he's going to do when he says he's going to do it -- Something I really appreciate.

Unlike a lot of contractors, they also did an excellent job cleaning up which I also REALLY appreciate since we share alleyways with our neighbors uptown and I've stepped on a roofing nail before, so it's a bit of a sore spot for me (literally).

I also quoted this job out with three other reputable firms, and these guys not only beat the other quotes by a bit, they also had a superior warranty by a lot with the GAF shingle system we were looking to use.

Since they were referred by a contractor I trust, I was already looking to use them for the job, but they made it easy to make the decision. I have another job coming up and I will definitely look to use them again.

Pete and his team at Above All Construction were absolute pros. In our first meeting, Pete took the time to explain every part of the roofing process with my wife and I, from technical stuff down to which shingles would best suit our needs. He was transparent, friendly and patient. What I was really impressed with, was how he kept referring to the shingles as “our” shingles (Ex. “We want to remove anything that can damage our shingles.”) To me, it really highlighted the sense of ownership and accountability Pete dedicates to projects. He wants to deliver lasting quality to his clients.

Pete ordered the materials we requested and his team went to work about a week later. While they were working, it began to rain heavily and we thought for sure the job would have to be postponed. But to our surprise, the crew waited out the rain under our carport and once it stopped, they climbed back up and started working again. They completed our main roof and garage in ONE day. Wow!

I can’t recommend Above All Construction enough. They treated our property with the utmost care, safely removing and disposing of multiple satellite dishes left on the roof by the previous owners, trimming branches that could harm our new shingles, reinstalling our string lights after they were finished, and even blowing our driveway clean. If it weren’t for the new roof, it would be hard to tell that they were even there. That’s how small a footprint they left.

Professionalism that you won’t find with other roofing companies. Pete really takes pride in his work and it shows. They had to fix my roof on a new construction home that was improperly done. Their knowledge and expertise about all things roofing is unmatched. Highly recommended!

Pete and his crew are awesome! I called Pete over an annoying little leak coming from roof jack, my roof is fairly new. When I explained to him what and where it was coming from Pete eased my stress cause I've been freaking out about this nagging leak for weeks (with all these crazy NOLA showers). Pete scheduled a day that works for me and sent Earwin, a very professional gentleman with years of experience. He then saw where the leak was coming from and from there I got an estimate. I'm very happy Pete gave me a 1-year warranty, the little leak after the repair was leaking just a tadbit. I called Pete up with no problem and he will be sending Earwin to check on it again. The customer service that Pete and company show is great. My stress about the leake is gone. I am recommending this company to the rest of my friends that are in the process of buying homes.

When Hurricane Delta hit last year, Pete with Above All was the only contractor I contacted who was willing to come out to "repair my roof." Everyone else wanted to put a tarp on it. My hurricane deductible was $9,000 and I wasn't ready to replace my roof. I needed my roof repaired and time. He sealed air vents and replaced missing shingles and gave me the time I needed. Now 6 mos later, I just replaced my roof with All Above with Lifetime GAF shingles with a great warranty too.. Thanks Pete...

We called Above all to work on a complicated water ingress situation that needed to be remediated in order to prevent major damage to our warehouse and its very expensive content. We also contracted them to build some custom very large louvers to create passive cross ventilation in the building during the hot summer months. Pete, the owner, and his team worked tirelessly to make sure our needs were met and more! The louvers were designed, fabricated and installed flawlessly and his team made sure that the work was done on time and with great care. Water ingresses are hard to troubleshoot but Pete and his team of experienced roofers made sure these issues were fixed once and for all even when it meant coming on site in an emergency on a Sunday!

In August 2020, All Above Construction LLC came to my house to repair a leak that was coming into my office from a dead valley or area above the valley. They charged me $875 to apply Gaco Roof to the dead valley and to take care of exposed nails. On October 28, the roof leaked into my office in the same area that was supposed to be fixed. When I called them the next day, they said they would come asap to do a redo. They showed up on the following Tuesday and said that the leak was due to 5 missing tiles; however, the missing tiles were on the other side of the house on the main roof. They were to send me an estimate and photos and when that did not happen, I called another roofer. I was told that Gaco was not applied at all and that they had used caulking to repair some cracked tiles which he thought they had broken themselves. When I called Pete, the owner, he denied it all until I sent him photos that the second roofer had taken. The following Monday, 2 men came and put Gaco on the dead valley and would not answer any questions. I have not heard from any of them again! Gaco Roof is around $230 retail. I think I was ripped off. I will add that the 5 missing tiles are on the other side of the main roof and the dead valley is not downslope of them. I was given a verbal estimate of $850 to replace 5 tiles. Mr. Pete NEVER got up on a ladder to look at the problems and his workers and he were late every time they came. So far the "repair" job has not been tested as it has not rained so we shall see!

In 2022, Pete and his crew installed a new GAF Timberline roof at my home. He has done everything possible to make sure that the job was done right, including some services that he did at his own cost. I could not ask for more.

Following Hurricane Zeta (2020), we thought we were going to need some roofing services related to chimney damage. Pete was extremely helpful in discussing with us how we might proceed and was poised to come out to our home quickly to get us watertight. Ultimately, we took another approach to the problem, but Pete's assistance, cooperation and friendly communication were invaluable in getting us to the point of that decision. We certainly will turn to Above All if we need more extensive services in the future.
