Their price was great but their service is terrible
I would not recommend this company at all

I strongly recommend Superior Roofing for your roofing and gutter needs. Not only do they do a great job initially, but also follow up promptly if a problem exists. I had new shingles and gutters put on approximately 3 years ago. I had a small leak with one of the heavier downpours. Nick came out promptly, identified the problem and then fixed it. All is good now. Thank you Nick!!

Excellent customer service and the workers were great!!! I love my new metal roof and gutters. I’ll definitely be calling for their services again. They were prompt in calling me back when I left a message requesting a quote. I called 6 places and I’m so thankful Superior Home Specialist called me back. I’m 100% pleased with the services provided and the cost was affordable.

My 87 year old father has contacted them multiple times about a roof they replaced last year that has a fifty year "guarantee" His entire breezeway roof is leaking and coming through to his porch ruining the underside, multiple boards will need to be replaced. Rain is running off the roof over the gutters they had him replace due to the roof replacement, either the new gutters are blocked or the gutter shields are faulty. They have already been out two times to fix other issues, 2 vents that were improperly installed. I wouldn't recommend them for any type of work. Hard to get in touch with, hard to get a date to repair any issues and unreliable when they say they are coming to fix.

Superior replaced my old gutters with continuous, 6” gutters with mesh guards and they look fabulous! The office called me three days in advance, did the job in one day and had several options for payment. I would highly recommend them for anyone’s gutter job!!

Paul was very easy to deal with. He was very informative and kept me informed of any issues. The crew that did the roof worked a 16 hour day, and it looks great. The gutters also went up very quickly and also look great. I would highly recommend Superior Home Specialists for your roofing and gutter installation.

We had a great experience with our gutter installation. They followed up with phone calls and kept us informed thru the whole process and we were very pleased with the workers and the finished product. I would definitely consider them for any future projects.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This company refuses to answer the phone and address issues, takes payment from customers but refuses to perform the actual work for which it is paid (which is the essence of fraud) and overall is a straightforward scam. DO NOT BELIEVE the positive reviews on here about this fraud of an outfit. The positive reviews are likely paid contributors or friends of the company. Maybe at one time this company was decent, but it has fallen into utter disarray presently. You are better off just doing the work yourself.

I was genuinely disappointed with my experience with this company. The glowing reviews initially gave me confidence, but the actual experience revealed a disorganized operation that doesn’t reflect the same reliability others have described.

I contacted the company in early 2025 for two projects: a quote for a new roof on our new home, and a gutter repair on the home we were preparing to sell. The roofing quote was reasonable, with helpful information and good product options, which gave me hope about working with them. However, the gutter repair was where things started to go downhill.

A few snowstorms caused damage to the gutter on the house we were selling, and I reached back out to have it repaired—hoping this smaller job would help build rapport ahead of the roof replacement. The initial issue was a loose 3-foot section of gutter, likely separated from the fascia. They scheduled the repair for over a month out—not ideal, but manageable. On the day of the repair, they canceled due to weather. While weather can be a factor, it was mild and only for part of the day, so the full l-day cancellation felt unnecessary.

They pushed the appointment to the following week. When that day came, I got a text from the project manager asking if the scheduling manager had contacted me—which they hadn’t. In fact, I’d never heard from the scheduling manager at all. The project manager then told me the crew was mistakenly sent to the wrong location due to an internal scheduling error by the crew lead. I was told this had happened before and that the crew lead was “unpredictable.” They delayed the job another week.

Unfortunately, during this delay, the remaining support for the damaged fascia gave out. The fascia board was nearly torn off the house, the soffit was hanging loosely, the gutter was dumping water into the flowerbed, and sharp metal was dangling over our front door—creating both an eyesore and a serious safety hazard. Some soffit pieces even damaged a nearby holly bush.

When I updated the project manager, they deflected blame, suggesting the failure was inevitable due to poor installation by a previous owner. They also increased the invoice. After some tense back-and-forth, they offered a 10% discount but took little real accountability.

Eventually, the scheduling manager/owner called to confirm the crew was finally coming out—this was the first time I’d heard from them directly. When I raised concerns about the delays and damage, they seemed unaware and indifferent, quickly ending the call.

The repair was finally completed, including the installation of a snow rail. Unfortunately, the result was underwhelming: some edges were still bent, and the snow rail looked hastily installed. The old soffit was used in several spots and showed the prior damage.

After I paid the invoice, I never heard from the company again. No follow-up, no confirmation of completed work, and no mention of the much larger roofing job we had previously discussed. It felt like they had more business than they could handle—and didn’t care about losing ours.

Overall, I have very little confidence in the company’s leadership. There’s a clear lack of internal communication and accountability, and they don’t prioritize customers who are affected by their own mismanagement. Even from the start, the lengthy, braggadocious phone message from the owner felt off-putting—and unfortunately, it turned out to be indicative of the service that followed. I give them two stars merely for the fact that the repair was completed and a snow rail was installed.

Absolutely amazing job. I’m so happy with my new metal roof. Excellent and professional company. Any questions I had were answered promptly. They made quick work and cleaned up everything afterwards. Price was good for the services I received. I even had them come back to do another job for me because I was so happy. Thank Superior for making my house look so nice! Definitely recommend this crew.

I would not recommend Superior Home Specialist, at 1St I thought they did a good job on my roof , then found they didn't put one of the vents on my roof right causing a leak to come down through my attic and on my bed in my bedroom. Called them to come fix it or at least check it. At first when I called was told the warranty had expired as it was a 3 yr warranty , I checked and the warranty shouldn't have expired because the 3 yrs wasn't up til Dec and I called in Oct. Was told they would come out to check it and would call when they would be out . The whole month went by never heard a word so called again in Nov. They promised they would call and come out. Again never heard anymore from them . So called again in Dec , was told " oh yes we forgot about that and again was told they would call and give me a time to come out and look at it but this time was told they had called around to other contractors and they only had warranty's for one yr and mine had expired . So I told them I needed them to come and fix it anyway as every time there was a hard rain it was leaking in my bed. SO again was told they would come out to check it this went on until

These guys do a great job. They put my gutter in a year ago and then a limb fell on it and messed it up and they fixed that too. You don't even have to be home.

My wife and I would rate Superior Home Specialties a 5 out of 5. The employees at Superior Home Specialties answered the phone when we called, eagerly explained their process and aided in scheduling a free estimate with a professional individual. The contract was sent digitally which made this process simple and clear. Our quote included different options which helped us compare and contrast our decision. Payment was secure and effortless. We had no issues with any member of Superior Home Specialties. The employees at this company displays the integrity and behavior all other contractors should pursue.

They arrived right on time and completed the job earlier than they estimated at a price lower than our other estimates. Highly recommend them!

Nick will continue to work with you long after the job is done to make sure you're satisfied and that issues are resolved. I'm not an easy customer to please but they did a great job

I had a very positive experience with this company. Communication is extremely important to me and Nick was a great communicator. He always returned my calls or texts in a timely manner. All my questions were answered.
John and his work crew were professional and did very good work installing new siding and gutters with leaf guards. John explained the process of the installation and was knowledgeable about the products. The job was finished and looks great. They left each day with materials neatly stacked out of the way and cleaned up everything very nicely on the last day.
I highly recommend this company and will call them again if I have a need they can fill.

Superior home specialist replace the roof on my house. The quality of the work was fantastic. The professionalism of the workers was on par, and the biggest and most important thing the entire worksite was cleaned up before they left. You would never know they had a been been there. The crew that showed up to do the roof showed up at my house and started the job right away. They were professional, fast, and efficient. They did an excellent job. We needed guttering for our home in Procious West Virginia. There are several choices for guttering in our area, but one stood out far beyond the rest. We called Superior Home Specialists and we soon found out that they were definately the right choice for our job.
We explained to the intake person that our home was located almost fourty minutes from Charleston ---- no problem, we got you they said. We have a metal roof and get high volumes of water fast --- no problem, we got you they said. We are getting damage caused by faulty existing guttering and need your help asap ---- no problem, we got you they said.
Superior Home Specialists showed up a couple of days later with a well seasoned team that installed beautiful six inch guttering and downspouts that sufficiently handles all of our roof drainage with ease. The crew were very knowledgable and considerate and most of all very fast. From arrival to clean-up they were flawlessly professional. All of this, and the price was very affordable. We are grateful to Superior Home Specialists for such an amazing experience ---- we will definately highly recommend you to anyone that needs amazing old time service with great results!

When I needed to replace my roof I called my neighbor who had recently contracted Superior Home Specialists to replace his roof. He was very pleased with the workmanship and his new shingles look flawless. I also had a positive experience with this contractor. The product specialist was very responsive and provided excellent, detailed information to help me select my new shingles. Scheduling the roof replacement was easy and the work was done in less than a day. I am very happy with the outcome. My new roof is much brighter and the leaks are gone too.

Excellent work. Was there at 6:30am and by 7 they were on the roof ripping off the old shingles. Was upfront about some minor repairs that needed done and done them and then completed the job in one day. Would recommend to anyone needing a dependable contractor.

The receptionist, co-owners, and workers kept me informed about everything. My questions were promptly answered. The finished installation was superb and met my expectations! The scheduling was communicated well and overall expectations were met and quality of work was excellent. The most important thing they did was keep their word on everything promised. This is a great company, and Jesse's customer service skills are amazing! He always responded to my phone calls, my messages, and kept checking back with us to see where we were as far as making a decision without being pushy. We had a lot of trouble even getting anyone that wanted to work, they would call and say they were coming and never show up. This company was a breath of fresh air, and Jesse is wonderful! I contacted Jesse about a new roof and I think it was the next day he was here to give me a estimate. It was the shingles that I was looking for and I liked the color that matched my brick. The people that came out to install were nice and they did the roof in one day. The price was right for me compared to the other roofing people. So it hasn't rained since the roof was installed to see if I have any leaks, so far everything went ok except for 1 small problem were my carport hooks on to my house but they came back and put flashing on it, so I will see what it does when it really rains. Superior did our gutters, so we decided to go with them again when our roof sprang a leak. They were very responsive and had us scheduled very quickly!

The entire process from start to finish was great.

I need to update my review. As I said earlier they were easy to work with, but honestly I have had nothing but problems with my gutters. To be fair, they have tried to correct the issues, but so far they have not been able to. The gutters overflow at even a slight rain and water pours out from the non downspout end of at least two gutters.
I never had this problem with my old gutters. At this point I cannot recommend them.

It took from August 2022 to November 2022 for them to fit me in for some warranty repairs on gutters that they installed. I also requested some additional work along with that for which I was paying for. They did not fully complete the work in November per the agreement. It is now February 2023 and the job is still not complete nor are the warranty issues fixed. I have continually communicated with the owner, over the 6 months of trying to get this work completed, who has stated multiple times that he will get me on the scheduled. I would not recommend this company if you are needing timely installations or repairs.

I am so happy I found this company. We needed gutters because ours were falling off after all the wind and storms. We were so lucky to find Superior Home Specialists. From the time I contacted them till the completion of the job I was so impressed. They were very professional. I will definitely call them when I decide to put a new roof on my house. You can't find this kind of proffesoinalism and quality of work very often. I am a very happy customer.

The installation itself was done well. However, the cleanup was not good. There was debris, trash and nails left all around our house. Additionally, when installing the siding to one part of the house, they went too far in and punctured 3 holes in my kitchen wall. I was told they would return to fix, but it has been 3 weeks and have not heard from anyone.

We had Superior Home Specialists out to install our new Shingle Roof and couldn’t be more satisfied. Their quote was better than the 3 other roofing companies that came out, and they were the most responsive. From the first call thorough the install, they were polite, professional, and communicative. They answered every question we had along the way. The installation crew that showed up on installation day showed up on time and they were personable, polite, and professional. They explained everything they were going to do, and then did it! Then they cleaned up before they left. You can tell that this company cares about its customers. We will absolutely be referring them to all our friends and family who are looking to replace their roof!

But I can sincerely say that the owners and installers at Superior are among the most professional I have ever had the pleasure to hire. We had Superior Home Specialist install new vinyl siding on our house. Nick Holmes showed up at our scheduled time to review our needs and measure the house. He prepared a quote and and had it to us when promised. The original date for install was several months out, but material arrived sooner than they anticipated. We had to reschedule installation several times due to the winter weather and they were great to work with. When work was completed the came back to review everything to make sure we were happy. We were very pleased with their work!
