The guys that came to our house were respectful, competent, efficient and communicated everything they were doing very clearly. We had a very rusty chimney crown and they were able to give me an alternative and cost effective solution than replacement. I really appreciate that they left our home clean and tidy and the fireplace looks clean and beautiful!

To the young man in the picture. You claim that I cut you off while we were both traveling in the westbound lanes of North Avenue approaching Route 83. You are dead wrong young man. I remember the ordeal quite clearly. I activated my turn signal for approximately 8-10 seconds with the intention of squeezing in front of you so I can access the only lanes ahead. You obviously and desperately did not want me to get in front of you, so you expressed your frustration at me when you stopped beside me on my right side by shaking your head at me. So in other words, you became but-hurt. When I rolled my window down to ask you what was wrong, you became verbally combative with me about getting in front of you! To the owner of this business: I hope you read this and pull this young kid aside and COACH him! He needs to exercise better judgment, learn to maintain his temperament, control his emotions, and have thick skin when operating a company vehicle. See attached photos to identify him. If he becomes this agitated over something like this, then I sure hope he doesn't treat your clients this way. I hope he has a better day.

My chimney cap blew off and they came out on short notice and estimated/repaired same day. The technicians were great people who were extremely knowledgeable. No pressure tactics and layed out all current and future issues for me to consider, and were honest about what actually needs to be immediately addressed.

We’ll be back when we decide to do some fireplace work in the future. And they have my total recommendation.

From online form to final fix, everything moved fast and efficiently. The crew showed up on time, diagnosed the broken chimney caps right away, and had them replaced in no time. Appreciate how simple and hassle-free they made the whole process.

I easily made an appointment to have someone come out to look at and estimate what kind of repair work would need to be done to fix the hole in the flue liner of our fireplace. And Alan and Mark came out and were scheduled to do a full checkup and clean up of the fireplace. But once Alan saw the problem with the flue liner he said that Superior Chimney would not be able to do a replacement on a pre-fab fireplace. He wrote down a full description of the problem and did not do any further work or charge us for the visit since there was no point in doing any further inspection or cleaning. It was helpful to have him explain to me the exact issue and Alan gave me a reference to Northwest Metalcraft which could do the type of repair or replacement work needed. I have since contacted Northwest Metalcraft and they will be able to fix the problem for us. I very much appreciated Alan's expertise and advice. Will definitely keep Superior Chimney in mind for future fireplace maintenance once the fireplace has been replaced.

Great service, very friendly, and great to work with. They gave us a quote this morning and then told us they could do the rest of the work today if we wanted, and here we are a couple hours later and it's all done and looking great!

Would strongly recommend. The entire experience was positive. It was very easy to book the appt, I received calls in advance to remind me of appt and again when the technician was on the way. Technician was very thorough with the inspection and explanation, providing pictures of the issue and also possible additional preventative services, if/when we are interested. When they arrived to do a quote, they were honest and transparent about what needed replacing (only the flux cap) without any upselling. In Feb of 2024 we had some black goo seeping from our furnace chimney. I called Superior to come and take a look. They did a great job of documenting the chimney and showed me that I needed a new lining. They did a great job with repairs and we reasonably priced. I call them every year now for routine cleaning and inspection

Nick came out today and thoroughly worked to diagnose the issues we have been having with our wood burning fireplace. We found them by accident when we moved here. They were Top notch people! They took pictures of our flue and the way it was in there. We got pictures show where water is finding it's way thru brick. He explained all the pictures and what was needed to correct it before the repairs became enormous! He explained the product they'd be using and gave us pamphlets to read too. Very friendly efficient and cared for our home while working, like shoe covers and more. On a scale of 1 to 10.... we give them a 20!

Knowledgeable employees! Took time to explain to us what type of fireplace we have (both my husband and I never had one before). Nick and nick came out to give me a chimney inspection and sweep. At first I was reluctant bc they “charge” for inspection. I went with the company in the first place bc of all the positive reviews. So even though the fee was throwing me off (basically becomes the cost of the chimney sweep if you go with then on the spot), I decided to call them out. From start to finish it is clear this company knows what they are doing. Nick was very professional and knowledgeable about all things chimney care and how to get the best from your fireplace. I was lucky that I didn’t need any major repairs, however years of lack of attention definitely meant I needed to do a few extra investments to bring back the chimney’s glory (Not saying the cost was cheap, but fair enough for me at this time). I’m really glad I took Nick's advice on a few things and put in the heat reflective shield. It looks great and will keep the back of my chimney looking clean and prolong and protect the clean tuckpointing. I was hesitant, but this company comes in with the tools, knowledge and experience to really take care of your concerns. I was looking for someone who could clean and inspect our chimney since we just moved it and wanted it ready for the season. Nick and his partner were so professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions, and we had quite a few. They were very thorough and made 0 mess. He explained everything in a way that we could understand given we have never owned a fireplace before. I would highly recommend using them. We will be using them for all our annual cleaning services.

Revised Review: On 10/29/24, they were on time and cleaned the fireplace but the tech said because we skipped a year doing the chimney sweep with them, it would now cost $600 w/ tax for a more in depth cleaning. While watching them…I realized it wasn’t anything different than your typical chimney sweep. You guys lost a customer to this sales tactic.

Superior Chimney Service Corp. were very informative and professional. We feel safe using our fireplace this year. We would highly recommend Superior Chimney and will be using them again next year for our cleaning.

Because of high winds, SCS had to reschedule me, but they rescheduled me for the next day. I appreciated that they worked around the weather and their schedule to accommodate the job at my house without a long delay.
