I was in town for work and stayed at the Super 8 in Iowa Falls. The staff was very polite and accommodated my weird work schedule, making my stay very easy. Room was clean and comfortable, wifi was fast and the air conditioning worked very well. Would recommend.

I’ve stayed here for about two Weeks constantly and I have never had the experience of them cleaning the room every 2 to 3 days. The owners and family are super nice easy to work with and that there is anything wrong. They get right on it right away. Probably the best super A I’ve ever stayed at.

This place is gross!! All the pictures that are posted of the hotel online are stock photos from nicer motel 8’s. The pool in the pictures is beautiful, the one they have is 4ft deep and about 10 x 10 ft. They also tried to accuse me of having a dog and double charging my card without asking, I was traveling for work and alone. Overall really bad experience here I will not be returning.

I am elated to say everything was clean and quiet and did just what I needed I was bringing my son up to college from Saint Louis we were very tired from the 6 hour drive. The lady at the desk was polite over the phone and once I got here she even remembered talking to me hours earlier. She made things very easy for an already stressed out tired mom. 5 stars ⭐️ I give this hotel it gave more than I was expecting.

We have stayed at several Super 8 hotels. This was by far the nicest we have stayed in. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were so nice and helpful.

A short visit back home to visit family and decided to not bother family and stay here. Great choice! I stayed with my 5 year old for 3 nights and we were on the 2nd floor just above the pool! Glad for that as she was a bit rambunctious! The room was set with 2 double beds, a microwave, a great working fridge, iron, and safe! The beds were extremely comfortable,and thankfully the AC worked great as it was HOT outside! The pool was heated and was fun for my kiddo! We didn't take advantage of the morning breakfast so I can't review that, but it smelled great and there were always people in there! Our room was cleaned daily and beds were made nicely. Towels were stocked as well! The front desk attendants/owners were super nice too! I would HIGHLY recommend the Super 8 in Iowa Falls if you need a nice place to stay! Is it the Hilton? No, but it's nice, clean, and comfortable and that's what matters! Thanks for a great stay for me and my kiddo!

Booked a pool party was quoted 60$ refunded deposit for pool party, plus room get there and was told it's actually 60$ cash plus 7 dollars per person and it's not refundable so we ended up just paying 35$ cash.... Cuz mind you I already had everything set to come here for the party to be there ... We get there a little before 3 expecting to swim until 6 for this 35$.... At 530 they come tell us it's past time and we need to leave and that is was 7 dollars a person for only 2 hrs and we need to leave... I tried to explain that wasn't explained in the beginning since the reservation for the sorry was until 6 That's when I wanted it till .... They eventually just let us stay the extra half hr but Then harassed us until we left while I was packing up and getting things taken care of I also caught the owner husband looking in the back of a customers truck and the WHOLE family sat outside and watched us the whole time while we swam. ..also would like to add that while I was getting dressed after swimming I also saw a cockroach in the public bathroom... Don't waste ur time these reviews are bought and paid for this place is a wreck and isn't friendly what so ever.....also they use bleach instead of chlorine for the pool so swim at ur own risk .....

This small town hotel is all you can ask for, the property has some age, but the rooms are clean and well maintained, the service is great and the family who runs the property is very welcoming

Great service and very friendly staff. Pool was refreshing after a hard day at work. Also rooms were nice and clean, I had a jacuzzi tub in mine that was very relaxing. Not too much going on in this town, but I was here for business and the hotel couldn’t have better locale for what I needed. Definitely recommend and I’ll be back again, just as I said last time I stayed.

I've stayed in some pretty bad hotels this might be up there on the list for the worst. Everything is very dated, room has a musty smell to it, breakfast was under served even after getting down there at 6:30am. There wasn't a whole lot of food for the guests. You are 100% better off finding an air bnb for half the price or just sleeping in your car.

Close to grocery stores and the staff is friendly. Great place to stay for long or short stay and there is room for your four legged friend to play. I recommend.

Terrible I do not recommend staying here it’s dirty no staff around no one at front desk the pool was more like a hot tub the temperature was at least 100||And the noise from the drunks partying in parking lot below our window kept me awake along with the smelly cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke that was coming in through the AC!! I’m not happy with this place at all and the msngr- was absent we never got to tell him or speak with anyone because there was never anyone at the front desk and they didn’t answer the phone either

Great location right next to Walmart and Hy-vee grocery stores. There’s an area to grill and plenty of space for your four legged companion to roam outside. Staff is friendly and they keep the place very clean! Recommend based on price and cleanliness.

I have stayed here for almost 4 weeks and my room is clean and bed sleeps nice. It is quite no noice coming from other rooms they have hot breakfast and always willing to help when needed I will be staying next week too.

BUYER BEWARE!!! We purchased a two night stay in advanced. See photo for proof. We arrived at 5:20p and checked into RM 121 with a mattress that was grossly stained and smells of dried urine. See photo for details. Therefore, I immediately went to the front desk. The clerk was not available and you must wait for them to return since they do not always man the desk. While I was waiting in the front lobby, I noticed it grossly reeked of a pungent musky, earthy, moldy odor. After calling the clerk and patiently waiting for his arrival, I showed the front desk clerk the photos of the mattress and my concerns. His only available offer was actually a downgrade in room status from a king to a much smaller double bed room. He did not offer a refund, rebate, nor discount. ||I exchanged keys for RM 112. Upon entrance, it immediately smelled of a musky moldly odor. Multiple areas of the ceiling within the room and bathroom was clearly stained with water damage. The acoustic ceiling tile in the bathroom was darkly stained and still damp providing ample concerns of a potentially active leak. After already spending time getting our luggage transferred and now spending less than an hour in the new room, we both started experiencing biting at our ankles concerning for fleas or pests of some sort. I was not about to become pray at this motel. I went back to the front desk to ask for a refund with hopes of finding another hotel or even worse to sleep in the car. At this point, I really don't care. Once again, the hotel clerk was not manning the desk. However, this time I noticed staff were actively burning an incense at the front desk which helped mask all of the putrid odors within the lobby for new clientele. "How clever", I thought to myself. Now take a moment and ask yourself, how many motels light incense at the front desk that you have stayed? A new red flag for me. ||I informed the clerk and the owner, who introduced himself as the owner, of the situation. He continued to shake his head in disbelief repetitively saying "no" as if passive denial negates the gravity of this situation. I guess this form of regressive behavior has obviously worked for this man in other challenging situations. He refused to provide a full refund stating in a well-rehearsed tone, "I can't do that". I informed him that I will remain a gentlemen in composer since he is now clearly swindled me out of my hard earned cash, but in return I told him I will be posting my negative experience for anyone and everyone who takes their money as serious as I do. He verbally agreed to the proposition. ||DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! ||We fortunately were given a spare room at the Holiday INN EXPRESS in Waterloo at the very last minute much thanks to Shannon who immediately laughed on the phone and verbally acknowledged my concerns when I told her the name of this motel. Seems as though news travels fast in a small town. ||To the owner: I really hope my $170 serves you well. I hope you take some of that money to repair any potential leaks and the wall damage. Or perhaps spend some of the cash to replace the rough blankets tattered with what appears to me as cigarette burn holes. At a bare minimum, please retire that grossly stained mattress. Or perhaps some of it could potentially go to better pest control. I truly hope that it isn’t going to be used on more incense which is only masking the many problems that need to be fixed in my opinion. In the end, I truly wish this review actually serves you well and I hope it incentives (no pun intended) you to clean up your establishment. Your patrons deserve better.

I stayed a few months on a work detail and the everyone was very friendly, clean, and helpful throughout the entire stay. I enjoyed the breakfast. The room service was amazing. I have nothing to say but good things about them.

We had a great stay, even though the water pipes broke, they fixed it..the heater didn’t work in our room, so they gave us a space heater…|Other than that, they were very accommodating and accepted our Sophie, who is my husband’s ESP, she of course in return was a great guest also..

This was one of my very best experiences of all my travels!||Due to mechanical issues with my vehicle, I was forced to spend the night there.||Super kind!||Clean rooms.||Right across from Walmart.||Free ride to a nearby restaurant.||Helpful in finding a good mechanic nearby.||They made sure that I was comfortable and offered extra amenities. ||In spite of the stresses of a vehicular breakdown, the hotel staff created beautiful memories that will be treasured for a long time to come.||Super 8,... has every reason to be proud of this particular hotel and it staff!!!!

Over all the owner is really nice and easy to talk to , the rooms are clean, and the pool is too. |The Wi-Fi is strong and my 15 yr old never got off it , breakfast is hot ( I think donuts should be added) but they have eggs sausage and waffles, there apple juice is awsome

The stay was really worth it for the amount you’re paying. It is a great quiet area with some basics around. There’s a Walmart & dollar tree across the street and some restaurants down the street. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly & helpful and greet you with a very welcoming smile. Andy & his wife have been very nice to us. Try to get up early for the breakfast. We will stay here when in the area again! Thank you super 8!

Stayed here passing through town, good price for a good room. Decent truck parking. Had truck troubles the following morning and staff let me stay past checkout time with no extra charge waiting for repair. Very accommodating.

Nice and clean motel friendly staff . Rooms are clean and smells good. They have hot breakfast. Waffle are best. Front desk girl is so sweet and help full. I enjoy my stay at super 8. Best motel. Everything was perfect.

BAD, BAD, BAD, BAD....

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Okay, here is my honest opinion of this place. I am an official Google reviewer with more than 7,000,000 who have read my reviews. All that means is that my reviews are typically posted on top.

I have been here about 6 times, and every time is the same experience.

The young lady seems to work there 24 hours a day with little to no help. Arriving at the property, there seems to always be a wait to have someone come to the desk. Most hotels have staff at the front desk waiting for guest to arrive to welcome them.
the rooms are old and smell musty. They use the old comforters, and we all know those are not cleaned between every single guest.
Breakfast is cheap and sub-par.

Now, it's not all bad. They are a great value for this small town. they are in a great and very safe location.

In my opinion, the young lady is not honest to me when I try and walk in. I saw a rate on the app for $72 a night, and she told me that it was not available anymore, and she asked me to refresh the app, and she is typing away. All of a sudden, the rate goes to $110. When I get to my room, surprisingly , the rate drops back to $72.

I just tested that assumption, and it was true. She was messing with the computer as I was checking in.

This hotel is not clean and not honest.

I will never stay here again.
