Dan Skelton from Summit Roofing and Solar came out to my home in Bartram Park Springs and inspected my roof using drone technology. He identified damage that wasn’t visible from the ground and helped guide the process of getting it fully replaced through insurance. Once work started, they found two layers of shingles, but his crew handled everything efficiently. It took some time, but in the end, I got a brand-new roof and couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend Dan and the entire Summit team!

The professionalism of this company is unmatched in businesses these days. They were always on time and did exactly as they promised. Working with Joe and Sam turned a headache into something I didn't have to worry about. My roof needed repair and the insurance company only approved a partial repair. When Joe and Sam came out to do their assessment, I told them the roof was 20 years old and I really wanted to get it replaced. They took over and dealt with the insurance. Once the full repair was approved, Joe sent the request to the HOA and got it approved. The repair was made within a week after the insurance and HOA approval. I would recommend Summit to anyone that needs roof repairs.

I live at Leese Dr in St. Johns, FL (12-building complex) and just want to say hats off to the entire team at Summit Roofing and Solar. Our roofs were old and our stucco was cracked and in bad shape. Summit re-roofed the entire complex and completely restored all the damaged stucco — it took over a year of work, but they stayed on it through Florida heat, cold, even hurricanes.

The final result? Absolutely perfect.
The buildings look brand new and everyone here is thrilled. Cleanup was spotless. The crew was respectful, hard-working, and professional the whole way through.

Summit Roofing just replaced our roof after a hurricane in October. They did a beautiful job. They were on time, worked very hard all day, and when they left, everything was clean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

They arrived early , did an excellent repair on the roof using better quality underlayment and shingles. Even replaced a length of 2x4 that was not in the estimate. These guys are good, I highly recommend them.

We live in The Villages in central Florida. Our roof was damaged after Hurricane Milton. We called 8 roofing companies in our area to give us repair quotes. None of them showed up - they were too busy with other customers. Jovanny Trujillo from Summit roofing in Jacksonville, Florida, was driving by our neighborhood the day after Milton and saw our roof damage. He stopped and talked to me and a neighbor about repair/replacement. The following day, he sent a representative to discuss details. He was thorough and said he would work with our insurance company. Since no one else showed up, we decided to go with Summit. Hurricane Milton was on Oct 10. Our roof was finished on Dec 5. Everything went smoothly. Cleanup and communication was great. We would recommend Summit for anyone wanting a quality roofing company.

I was very pleased with the initial meeting. Dan helped alot with researching my insurance policy, and explained some things. We just had our roof replaced by this wonderful company, the job went smoothly from beginning to end, they came early with a few man, every single shingle was taking off, new special paper, double, put on, them the new shingle was put in, the job was incredible, neat, clean and talking about cleaning the clean every single piece of paper, nails and with a magnetic tool that picked whatever was left, we don’t want to have to replace another roof but if for any reason a gigantic storm comes in, they will get the first call. We recommend this company 100%.

First of all the response time was amazing. I left a message last night, I was contacted this morning, and they were here at 11:00 am. As soon as Dan learned the house was new he told me to contact the builder because they had to cover the roof for 3 years. I recently moved here from out of state and had no idea. Summit Roofing could have charged me for repairs and I would have never known the builder would cover them! I can’t speak on their work but I can say that they were friendly, extremely helpful and HONEST! I can definitely say this is who I will use in the future.

What an awesome company & awesome crew! We had damage from Hurricane Milton & decided to the repair roof. With that being said, we called "Summit Roofing" a little after 5:00 pm & asked if they could send someone at their earliest convenience! Within 15 minutes Sam & Yuri showed up, said they could repair it the next day! They were here less than 24 hours with a perfect match to our shingles & brought Mel with them to complete the job! I recently had my roof repaired by Summit, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service! The manager, Joe was professional, knowledgeable, attentive and showed he really cared about the customer and doing what is right. He thoroughly assessed the damage and explained the necessary repairs in detail. He applied a temporary patch to hold me over till the recent storms passed and they could complete the repair.

The work was completed on time with excellent craftsmanship that exceeded my expectations. They also took the time to clean up the area afterward, leaving my property spotless. From the top to the bottom, these guys are kind, knowledgeable, extremely efficient, hardworking and go above and beyond. We have found the process seamless working with this group. If I could define it, I’d say a fine tuned machine is what this group operates as. They replaced our roof, multiple water damaged walls, gutters, and replaced our popcorn ceilings with knockdown texture. We felt like we didn’t only do business but we gained friendships. I called Summit Roofing and Solar after Hurricane Idalia and they arrived 2 hours later; They sealed my roof and guided me with the Insurance Claim.

The best contractors I've ever had

I had my roof done by Summit and they did an amazing job. They were very kind to do a free home inspection and walk the entire home with me. I was very nervous about the process especially being a first time home owner and not being familiar with process and insurance. Summits team was very patient and explained everything is so much detail. Very easy to have communication and felt I was a part of the process the whole way. Had a leak during a 3 day weekend, right before a large storm was about to hit. Sam and team came to our house quickly accessed the damage we had, helped us get the roof covered and prepared for the storm. The team was so helpful walking us first time home buyers through the process of dealing with our insurance. We used Summit Roofing and Solar to help with some consultation work for a roof repair. We contacted them late afternoon on a weekend and quickly talked to Jovany who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with our repair issue. We were pleasantly surprised by the high level of customer-care demonstrated by the company as we were immediately taken care of and prioritized among the company’s other jobs during the off-hours on a weekend. Summit’s customer service, thoroughness, and employee professionalism are second to none and I would recommend them to anyone ESPECIALLY if they need help outside of the normal business hours of other companies.

I recently had my mobile home re-roofed by Summit. The entire experience was above and beyond. The project manager was friendly and evaluated my needs efficiently...and gave me a wonderful price. The day of the project, the work team was prompt and courteous. They took care to put tarps down around the entire building, to protect my property. They then went right to work with tear off and replacing my old shingles...repairing any sections of plywood as they went. They completed the project in just a few hours and cleaned up all debris afterwards. And they did a fantastic job on the roof. The best experience ever!
