I called Summit and they responded within the same week to take a look at my issue. Two gentlemen arrived on time and did an inspection, they were very friendly. They said the office would provide a quote within a couple of days. The quote never came. I called and left multiple messages and I still never heard back. I wish they would have told me they weren't interested in the work rather than keep me waiting.

Although they couldn't come immediately - who can - they really worked with us to make it happen as soon as possible, slotting us in to the busy schedule. Asked for three proposals for a new roof. Summit's proposal was the best, quality-wise, and was also the lowest cost. Sammy had come by and inspected our old roof prior to issuing Summit's proposal. We accepted Summit's proposal and the work was performed on schedule and very well. The clean-up after installation was excellent. We had asked for a couple of special considerations, including coming back later to install two cupolas not available at the time the roof was done. Not only did Summit's team come back to install the cupolas, but a piece of the weathervane was missing and they came back a second time to complete the installation. The job was completed within the estimated time frame and was started on schedule. Communication was excellent throughout the time from proposal acceptance to job completion. Our roof looks beautiful. We could not have asked for a better experience.

August 7, 2023 a branch poked a hole in our roof, I contacted Summit Roofing the next day and Mr. Anibal Delgado came out and inspected the damage and provided a quote for the repair to give to the insurance company. Mr. Delgado worked with me and the insurance company to reach a fair resolution on October 3,2023. Because the insurance company would only cover the cost of the roof section damaged by the branch. I worked with Mr. Delgado to replace the entire roof. On October 5. 2023 the roof was replaced. Summit Roofing and Mr. Delgado’s installers were Fantastic! They were quick/response and did an excellent job, we couldn’t have been more pleased. Even thou Mr. Delgado was going to training at the time our roof was being replaced, he made time before and after class to check up on the job.

This is the second roof I had Summit Roofing replace and as the first I highly recommend Summit Roofing.

I didn't realize that a roof could be replaced so quickly. Whole ordeal took only 4 hours. Summit was friendly, professional, and efficient. They even cleaned up afterwards, and they even covered our plants with plywood so that they wouldn't get hit by debris. All of this for a super competitive price. Highly recommend.

We secured 8 bids for this job. Our zip code attracts contractors with very high estimates on a lot of common services. Summit was honest, up front, and engaged in the process. The owner came out to talk with us, gave us leads to see their work, and shared their reviews. Their bid was honest, fair, and more very detailed. Timeline, materials, services, delivery, and contingency were spot on throughout the project.

Summit Roofing is a family owned business that is vested in every client relationship they have. The project manager was in touch by phone, text, or onsite every day. Best part is that they are big enough to have the materials needed on hand, if not 24 hours away. They shaped and cut the panels in the back yard ensuring that every piece fit and waste was eliminated. Fit and finish was outstanding. The recent rain and wind storms (late June 2023) were the perfect test, our new roof was unfazed.

The staff is personable, sincere, and pro-active with their communication. The installation team stayed on schedule, and never missed a timeline or project goal. The work team checked in with us daily, gave us progress updates, and set expectations. We used Summit back in 2018 and were very happy with them. In early August 2022, we requested a quote from them to fix a small non urgent leak in our roof.

They were able to quickly schedule someone to take a look but we never heard back about a quote.

Almost two weeks after not hearing back I called to see if they were planning on getting a quote to us and the lady I talked to said someone would be in contact with me. It's been almost another two weeks and we haven't heard anything.

Edit: Sept 2022, the owner has personally called me to resolve the issue. We are looking forward another positive experience with Summit.

In a nutshell, this company showed up last minute. I proposed that my neighbor might appreciate a roof inspection, per permission. They climbed two houses over? Never presented an accurate photo of MY roof, instead jacked up a verbal quote of $1200 to $8000. ...he's been doing roofing 26 years? Quite a miscalculation. Waiting to hear from "the owner".

We had our roof replaced about 4 months ago and could not be happier. Carl was so communicative throughout the process and it was a pleasure working with him. Our new roof is beautiful and has held up well over the last few months. His team was efficient and completed our roof in half a day which was awesome. They cleaned up nicely too.

Summit Roofing was a pleasure to work with. My sales rep Carl was extremely professional and very responsive to my questions. My contract price was the best price out of four companies I interviewed. When my job was started, the roofing team consisted of eight roofers and they were able to get the job done and cleaned up in one day -- in spite of the minor rain delay in the morning. My roof looks great and they went above and beyond with a lot of little extras -- like painting the rusty old vent for my microwave and removing a defunct attic fan from the roof. I just had my roof replaced and a new attic fan installed and Summit did an excellent job. The 5-man crew arrived on time. The crew did an excellent job ensuring my plants and lawn were covered and they cleared all the debris from my roof after the job was completed. Summit Roofing was recommended by a friend. Unfortunately, there’s nothing positive I can say about this contractor. I have a leak in my roof, and when I called them to come take a look, it took forever for them to get out here. Then, when the guy did come, he wasn’t able to do anything because he had no ladder so he couldn’t go look at my roof. When he came back, he said that upon inspection, the leak was coming from my dryer vent being blocked. This made no sense to me, so I didn’t pursue fixing it. After going up into the attic myself while it was raining, I can clearly see where there’s water dripping down. This went completely unnoticed by the guy who came. So to recap: they took forever to come to my house, needed to come multiple times, and then misdiagnosed the problem. I don’t know how a roofing contractor can be worse than that.

Summit put on our roof on 3 years ago and did a great job. We didn't have any leaks this year with all the heavy rains. They also fixed our gutter by putting a heavy sided aluminum block on the ends of the gutter to prevent it from overflowing onto our deck. Great service and extremely polite and on time which is a big plus for our area.

With the high winds NOVA area has been experiencing lately, it few off the shingles from my 4 years old house. Summit roofing responded to our call and sent their personnel for inspection. Luis was very professional and quickly performed the inspection and sent the quote for the work. A follow up call from the office scheduled us for the next available appointment. The installation personnel, Julio was very thorough with his assessment and installation. He even went ahead and inspected if any other lose shingles needed to be addressed. Over all the work quality was excellent and Julio was good at answering our questions.I will recommend Summit roofing to my friends

Summit Roofing was friendly and professional throughout the process. Their quote wasn't the lowest I got, but the quality of the materials and work is well worth the difference in their price. They finished the roof in one day, and left no trace they were here except an amazing looking new roof.

Summit Roofing repaired several small leaks, replaced a small section of roof and replaced my entire roof cap and vent for a very reasonable price. The technician was courteous and the job was clean and professional. Only time will tell if the repairs will hold however I can say I'll be using them in the future for more of my home improvement needs.

Overall Summit did a great job with the installation. The quality of work was great. The only issue we had was that our installation went over two days instead of the alloted one day. I'm not sure why, but they started very late in the day and ended up not finishing until the end of the following. Other than that, they did a great job with quality of work.

We have used Summit Roofing twice now, to replace roofs on two different homes. In 2018 when we bought our first home, we had roof damage and a significant leak following a storm with two months of moving in. Summit did a quality, efficient job in replacing that roof at a competitive price. We needed that fixed quickly and they took care of it! So when we moved to our new home just a few months ago and yet again had significant storm damage within a few months of ownership, instead of being worried, we knew who to call! When my skylight started leaking I didn't know who to call or have any idea how much a repair would cost. Luckily for me, my home's previous owner left me all their receipts for all of the major work that had performed in the last ten years. It turns out Summit Roofing Contractors had installed the roofing 10 years ago which in my opinion appears to still be in pretty good shape and well installed. I figured why not give them a call. Summit Roofing was able to schedule for someone to come out and give me a free quote within a few days.

I spent some time researching expected price of repairs for skylights and found Summit's proposal to be within the expected range. I was also impressed that Summit furnished me with their certificate of insurance and provided me with a 1-year labor warranty as part of their quote. This struck me as pretty professional! I went ahead and got the repair work scheduled.

For both the original trip and actual repair trip Summit came on time within the quoted window. Their small crew completed the repair as promised and did not leave any mess. While it hasn't yet rained (to prove to me the leak was repaired) I have confidence that quality work was performed (and if not I know they will come back and make it right).

I couldn't be happier with Summit. I was up against a closing deadline for selling my house and needed some gutter repair work done. They were responsive right from the start despite it being a small job (multiple other roofers never even returned my calls), and competed the work well within the deadlines. I know they were busy and I really appreciated them being willing to take this on, as I would have been in a tough spot otherwise. Anibal Delgado explained everything thoroughly and clearly, and fixed the problems perfectly. He was professional, courteous, and genuinely friendly. I'm especially impressed with Summit Roofing's quick response. During a recent intense rain storm, a leak (needing four pots and pans) developed around one of the skylights. I called Summit on a Friday afternoon, they came out the following Tuesday morning to figure out what was needed, and delivered the estimate the next morning. Once I took the decision to hire them, they were able to get me on their schedule within about a week. All the people I worked with -- Ryan, Luis, Shannon and Sam -- were knowledgeable, helpful and personable. With the new skylights in place and the leak taken care of, I'll be bringing Summit back to replace the entire roof.

I first used Summit at a friend's recommendation to check a suspected leak; they told me it was a freaky windstorm the prior day and no need for work. That led me to trust them to replace my whole roof when the time came. Fifteen years later, I just had them back to repair the chimney cricket. Very prompt and professional personnel, both in the office and onsite. Highly recommend you give them your business!

Jim explained the needed repairs and the team arrived on time and finished the work. They were willing to come to my home and fix the problem on a Saturday. The office employees are polite, professional and efficient.

After going around with our previous roofer being told nothing was wrong despite it leaking into our attic, we decided to call Summit for an inspection and estimate. Luis came out and was very courteous and listened to all of our concerns. He inspected around the vent pipe and looked at the leak in the attic. This is the 3rd time I have come to count on Summit Roofing to assist me over the last 7 years for my home roofing needs. Today is a repair for a minor roof leak that was causing a stain in my ceiling, and replacement of the attic cap that blew off during a wind storm. The repairman was on time, professional, and provided advice on what was needed, and was honest. Summit's staff want to get the job done right, without doing more that's unnecessary. I am in the process of selling my home, and in doing so an inspection revealed that my old roof needed to be replaced due to some leaks developing. I was recommended Summit Roofing by my realtor (do not know how he knows of them), and simultaneously reached out to Summit and another company for a second estimate. I was initially told it would be a few weeks before they would be able to do the job, but when they knew it needed to be finished before the closing inspection, they rearranged their schedule and completed the job yesterday (to include cleanup!).
I am impressed with both their timeliness and workmanship, and would recommend them to anyone (in their servicing area) who may need any roofing work done in the future.

Wow! Summit Roofing Contractors has always done great work for us, including a full shingle roof replacement on a past home. This time, it was full replacement of the cedar shake roof and right sizing all new gutters on our current home. They we're great from the beginning. No pushing salesman,Joe was perfect. The guys came on time, just after 7 am and done before 5. Great job, great cleanup. Update, I had a roof installed over my deck last week. Went to the very back of my yard to admire it. To my surprise, the shingles on my bay window were never replaced with the rest of the job. My other bay and shed roof were done. Pure oversite. This was done 5 years ago. Called monday about the problem. Summit was here the very next day. YOU CAN NOT GET A BETTER ROOFING COMPANY!

Three years later! No issues and no leaks. I still wake up at night periodically worrying about my old roof leaking just to realize it has already been taken care of and is new by Benny at Summit Roofing. I had a leak before that was minor but bothered me and caused me to wake up at night. I should sleep soundly now that I have no leaks and a new roof but I still have a night or two a year with a nightmare dream thinking my roof is leaking but soon realize I do not have an issue anymore since the mew roof.

Summit came in, and in 1 day had all the shingles removed and all new ones installed.
They were extremely professional and left nothing for me to pick up afterwards. I would recommend them for any of your roofing needs.
I had to call them again for a problem around my chimney. The found some water damaged plywood and the siding issue that lead to the damage.
They repaired both and my roof is great. I still would recommend them to all.
Once again I needed a roofer for a broken skylight, I called Summit knowing they do excellent work. They had a new skylight ordered and installed in less than a week. I could not be more pleased with my new skylight.
