Woke up around 5:30 AM to it raining inside our house! Unfortunately with the strong winds and storms 2 of our skylights had blown off. After a frantic google search I came across summit roofing and spoke to Mark at around 6. He was out at our house within the hour and had the skylights back in place quickly after. Mark was very thorough in explaining the damage to our skylights/roof and we look forward to having them replaced by him. We are just so thankful to have the house sealed up before the water caused damage to the rest of the house. Thank you!!

The roof installation took place over 2 days for a relatively large structure. They obviously have a great deal of experience with residential roofs. This contract also included new gutters, which went quite smoothly. We are exceedingly pleased with the work that Summit did and the value delivered.

This was my second time using Summit Roof Service to replace my hail damaged roof and they provided excellent service on both occasions. My roof, fence, windows and gutters were all damaged on May 19th. Mark at Summit roof not only replaced my roof, he coordinated all other repairs as well. We even had some difficulty with my insurance company but Mark Scamardo was very professional and patient and was able to provide them will all documentation needed to finally close the claim. He kept me informed of the plan to complete all repairs and his crew was very efficient and professional, working through some very hot days to get all the work done on time. They also were very careful to clean up all debris and nails from my yard, driveway and alleyway. I will definitely use Summit Roof Service, Inc. again and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone.

I reached out to Mark for an emergency repair for some shingles lost during a March 2023 storm event. Mark got the shingles replaced within a day and identified that my roof had suffered damage from prior hailstorms. As I worked through the claim Mark supported us in dealing with the home insurance field adjusters. He ensured that pre-existing damage to not only the roof, but to several windows was recorded properly and provided justification for full window replacement (not just the plastic trim). With Mark's backup information, I was ultimately able to get full roof and windows replacement despite initial denial during the insurer's initial judgment. The roof was removed an replaced in one day and the crew did a good job on cleanup. I would recommend Summit Roof Service.

As a result of the recent thunderstorm & tornado, my chimney cap & spart arrestor was blown by the high wind, got severely damaged and ended sitting in my backyard.
Consequently, I ended reaching out to several roofing companies and because of the high demand caused by the storm, I was unable to find a reputable roofing company who could come over to my place, assess the damage and remediate it accordingly.
Luckily, one of my relatives referred me to Summit Roof Service and upon contacting them, I was greeted by a very pleasant gentleman (Mark) who happened to be the owner of the company.
After discussing the issue with Mark, he assured me that would stop by my home as soon as possible.
Sure enough, about a couple of hours later, Mark did stop by my place, assessed the damage and not only did he recommend a solution, but ordered a custom chimney cap & spart arrestor and got the issue remediated within a week.
The crew who came to do the installation were courteous, professional, did an awesome job and cleaned up any debris caused by the job.
Also, although the whole job took only a week from A to Z, Mark kept me informed along the way.
I am very pleased with Summit Roof Service and will highly recommend them to anybody looking for an honest roofing service.

The owner, Mark, is extremely reasonable, and honest. I had him repair a roof to a rental house, knowing that the roof was very very old. I expected him to come back telling me I needed a whole new roof. He did say I would need one eventually, but the repair would last several years and it did. I now hired him again to replace the entire roof and it looks great. His price was 37% less than other bids I received. I just visited the house, as I live out of town, and it is day and night!
I wish I could find a roofer just like him that is local to where I actually live.

The owner Mark had been to the house before making repairs. Always professional, honest and timely. His inspections and assessments don't always lead to expensive repairs. The 20-year old roof needed replacing badly (Mark told me months ago). We met at the house Wednesday evening, he got a quote to me Thursday morning.
