We were extremely pleased with Mauricio and Summit Painting. Mauricio is very friendly, super attentive and responsive. He gave great advice, and was happy to accommodate changes we made after painting swatches in paint type and color schemes. His team were friendly, carried out the work professionally. This is the second time we have used them and the experience this time around was amazing.

Mauricio and his team at Summit Painting recently painted my entire house, inside and out!!! This was a paint job like none I’ve ever seen. It was more of a restoration. The attention to detail and the quality of the work was more than I’ve ever experienced with any other ‘paint job’. The prep work was meticulously and the team spent more time prepping than painting- the product is beautiful!! It looks brand new. Mauricio and his team were recommended to me by a colleague who had used them several times and I am so thankful. Wonderful people, wonderful work. Also, they show up early, work a very long day and immaculately clean up at end of every day. I’ll never use another painting company.

This is a great professional outfit. They did not have lowest quote initially but we had seen them around our subdivision quite a bit so we thought we’d give them a shot and we couldn’t be more pleased.

We are currently half way through a large project where they are painting every room in our house including 20+ new solid core doors and all the trim millwork. Sergio is painting our mid-1980's natural stained wood trim a clean modern white. The quality is a 10 and it looks awesome. They aren't the lowest cost painters that you might find, but they are the very best. I highly recommend them.

Summit Painting did an excellent job repainting the exterior of our house. Power washing, caulking, minor carpentry, body painting and trim painting was all completed quickly and according to schedule - and without any overspray or incidental drips. After Summit Painting stained / painted my deck in 2022, I decided to request a bid for a full exterior paint job. Mauricio gave me a detailed estimate in the fall of 2022 and I signed up for the summer of 2023 (yes, well, you know it rains a lot so sign up in advance ...). Mauricio gave me some guidance about paint type and paint samples to pick the colors. He is very well organized with forms and the format of his written bids. In June 2023 the Portland weather cooperated and Mauricio had his crew paint the full exterior of the house at the time agreed to the previous fall (on time very good!). First they prepped, then they painted. A port-a-potty was temporarily delivered...very professional. The neighbors hardly noticed that they were there.
Sergio (crew leader) and the crew were careful and hard-working and now the house looks fantastic ! Fortunately, there were no surprises and the job came in close to the original budget. Thank you to Mauricio and the crew! (I was going to write a separate review for the exterior, but I couldn't find the tab, so updating the deck review)

Last summer Summit Painting stained / painted my deck with solid stain (in Summer 2022). The paint job looks great! They also repaired some of the deck and used better technique and screws than what was there before. They were all very professional and hard-working. Mauricio kept the mid-summer commitment as scheduled several months ahead. He made recommendations about the paint product selection when he came to do the estimate. He and the crew made recommendations about repairs to the wood. They seemed organized and well equipped with a cutting table and other items. The amount charged for the repair portion that was charged by time and materials was very reasonable. Thank you to Mauricio and the crew!

I am a painting perfectionist. I’m not easy to please in this area, because I understand the job and have done it myself. You can not find a better crew of painters than Summit. Mauricio gave us a surprisingly good and competitive bid, but the work on a VERY difficult exterior NW Tudor house was exceptional. This is an extremely tall house, we had it painted during 100 degree days, with at least 5 surfaces—-stucco, wood, cement, plastic, stone. I paid to upgrade to the highest grade of paint made( Benjamin Moore Aura) because that is my personal preference, but I tell you——the results are simply PERFECTION. I have never seen such workers. I was able to communicate preferences as things came up, and did my best to help them stay hydrated and happy. Do not go with anyone else. This is your team. On budget. On time. On point. PERFECTION.

As a commercial real estate broker and property owner, I rarely see a construction crew that is so well ran and professional! They are the hardest working crew I have ever hired - hands down! Incredible work ethic and amazing results. I hired them to paint the outside of our house. The owner, Mauricio, came out and gave us a quote. He showed up on time and followed up. He walked through the whole project going over the timelines and what they are going to do. We changed to a new color and the end result is incredible! Maurico would text me to let me know when they are going to be there and then the next day at that time the ladders were going up against the house. We were introduced to Summit Painting through a neighbor having his home painted by Summit. The quality of work Summit did on our neighbor's home was excellent. Fast forward to our own painting job and Mauricio's crew found that our siding was rotten on at least two sides of our house. It crumbled when touched! Long story short we decided to replace all siding on our home (LP Siding) and have it done correctly. Sergio and his crew were meticulous in how they put up the siding. The final touch was the painting of our entire house, front door, and trim. The quality of the painting was above any I've experienced (and we've dealt with other contractors and painters through the years). I can't emphasize enough, the quality of Summit Paining and how awesome Mauricio is to work with. He also kept us constantly informed of next steps and Sergio and his crew worked tirelessly (14+ hours a day) to get the work done and exact. We wouldn't have been in this mess with our home siding if the quality demonstrated by Summit Painting had been around back when our home was built in 1996. I will never have anyone else paint or side our home (we will never have to redo the siding!)!

We have had Summit paint the entire exterior of our house twice now (the first was ~10 years ago). Both times they were great quality and service for the price and their service was prompt and professional. We also have a very steep roof which caused some companies to refuse to paint our house but Summit had no issues with.

Our neighbors referred us originally and we had our home exterior painted, then our brother just had his home exterior painted this summer. We had another great outcome as the crews were efficient, and concientious with this older home in need of care after 30 years from last painting. The power washing team did an excellent job as well including a composite deck and stairs that had seen better days. Another family member is considering the same for thier home. Great job!

From the beginning they were professional and paid close attention to details. They fixed what was in need of repair before they did the work. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough!! Our house has been in desperate need of painting and dry rot repair since we moved in five years ago and we were dreading both the process and the cost. All their work is done in the time they estimated it would be done, if not before and they clean up after themselves while on the job. They do great prep work and take care of replacing or fixing things like damaged wood and such before even painting. They even built a special platform or scaffolding to go above and over our awning in the backyard and used extreme caution, so as not to cause any damage. We have used them for indoor painting as well, and again, they were awesome and did a fabulous job. I refer friends and family to them all the time. I won't use anyone else! We had a great experience with Summit Painting from start to finish! I was nervous given these Covid times and how much interaction might be needed for our exterior paint job but Mauricio instantly made me comfortable over the phone and explained every step ahead of time. He always showed up exactly when scheduled wearing a mask and talked to me outside about all details of the project. We asked to schedule a specific week out in the future to coincide with our kids being away for less disruption and Mauricio made it all line up to the day for us. All repairs were explained and were extremely reasonably priced. We are so happy with the final product!

We used Summit Painting for a second time, this time to paint 8 rooms in our new home. We cannot say enough good things about Mauricio Santiago, the owner, and his crew including Sergio, Adrian, and Francisco. It was a complicated project involving wallpaper removal in several rooms, texturizing walls, several different paint colors and changes that needed to be made along the way. We have worked with Summit for several painting jobs and will never ever look to anyone else. They are hands down the best people to work with. They are exceedingly professional and courteous. I had them inside my house with me for several days (painting) and I could hardly even tell that they were there. My sixteen year old son even noticed that they would arrive to our house about ten minutes before their scheduled time and then wait outside until the exact scheduled time to ring our doorbell. Once you work with Summit for any service they provide you will never look elsewhere. I cannot speak highly enough about the entire team.

We had a great experience with Summit Painting on our recent exterior paint job. We hired them, in part, because of their experience and expertise with lead abatement (common on the many 1950s houses in our neighborhood). The cleaning and prep portion of the job was extensive, but we felt confident that they handled it very thoroughly and professionally. The paint went on about a week later and looks great. They worked hard and got the job done in one day. Our project manager was experienced, thorough, and highly communicative. We were very pleased overall.

Needed to book them about 6 months in advance (good sign in my opinion). Job took 4 days, with a break for the weather. They also had to replace a bunch of wood trim that had rotted out underneath the old paint. I was a bit leery of the opportunity to pad the bill, but it turned out fair, appropriate, and very well done. The crew was careful and hardworking. Recommend without hesitation.

Quality and quick. They were very professional and did a fantastic job helping sell me sell my place for more than asking price! They do home inspection too. Can't be more positive about the experience.

Summit painted our entire interior, including high ceilings, when we moved in to our first home 16 months ago. They did an outstanding job and was very efficient and communicative. As soon as we found out we were having a baby, I called Daniel and Mauricio to schedule time to paint the complicated nursery that included not only the walls, but all the trim and wainscoting. Again, impressed by the work of these guys! They are all very nice, professional and communicative. I highly recommend Summit Painting. Look forward to possibly redoing our exterior by Summit next summer!
