Beware of this company!! Damages will not be taken care of if they occur on your property or your neighbors.
Our experience was the end of March 2022. They were building a single family home next to our home on 68th street in Virginia Beach. The winds were blowing 20-30 mph with gusts 40-50 mph. Premier Construction hired Strong Ridge Roofers to install the roof on that day.
Shingles and nails were blowing all over our driveway. We went out and picked up nails and shingles off our driveway. Walked over to let someone know what was going on. NO CONTRACTOR on the premises. Noise so loud with the roofers working. Needless to say I got a nail in my fairly new tire. Took it for repair and was told the tire had to be replaced. Repair wasn’t an option. We called the realtor and he said to call the Builder Premier Construction.
I’ve made a minimum of 40 calls since last April to Lisa with Strong Ridge, Premiers VP Steve, the owner and numerous calls to Stephanie of which no one has been able to give me a response. I sent receipts. They blame the Strong Ridge. Owner Lisa from Strong Ridge originally told me it was Premiers responsibility and Stephanie from Premier says it’s Strong Ridge’s responsibility. Doesn’t each company have insurance?? Obviously NOT!!
Now it’s not about the 250.00 it’s the principal. Even the owner (our neighbor) says Premier should just write a check to us.
Our only recourse is to write this review.

I needed to repair vinyl siding before selling my house located in Chesapeake. Other contractors were estimating three to four times more than what Strong Ridge estimated. In addition, Dwayne Callahan made sure that the repairs completed before the final walkthrough. He was highly professional and understood my problem and urgency. If not for their help, I would have paid a lot more for a simple repair. I gave his phone number to my real state agent and she is recommending them to her other clients too.

Strong Ridge just completed a roof replacement on our Dutch Colonial and we are very happy with the results. They also installed copper on our front portico and side bay. It all looks fabulous. Dwayne and his crew were wonderful, installation and clean up was great, and communication and follow-through was impeccable. We highly recommend this company.

Completely professional from start to finish. Strong Ridge was very helpful in assisting us with our reroofing project as we prepare to put solar panels on. Would recommend to all friends and family, they are the real deal. Was amazed at how much better the roof looked after installation and how quickly we were able to get on the schedule.

We had the pleasure of selling David a van for his fleet. He and his father are spot on... They did everything they said and were very professional. I would not hesitate to give them a call for their services. Small family businesses like theirs & ours are providing excellent jobs and services in our local communities. SHOP LOCAL---

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
