Great experience with Skylor Gomez. Skylor was early for the appointment, did a thorough inspection of the roof and attic. He pointed out a potential ventilation issue in my attic as well. Showed me via a display how the roof replacement would be done and with what materials. When he was done, I received a very competitive estimate with options. Very polite young man who is definitely on top of his trade. I have had multiple estimates and by far, this was the best experienced. If you are dealing with Pyramid, ask for him by name!

Drew came by on a Saturday to discuss the work I need performed on my property which was very convenient for my schedule. He was respectful of my property while finding a place to access my roof and shared his findings and thoughts about multiple options to address them. He was very informative about what each option would do as far as warranty coverage and life expectancy of the material. Even after we found the right scope of work while considering my budget he is going to look into some additional questions I had when he is back to work Monday. I appreciated the his timely arrival, our straightforward discussion,
and the flexibility of options I had been presented. I’m looking forward to see the quality of the job performed by Pyramid so I can update the review.

Carlos was better than 2 other company's we had come out for attention to detail, inspection our roof and explaining everything to us. We have not decided on what to do yet as the quote was higher than the others, but Carlos did make us feel more at ease, and was more knowledgeable than the others. More company's should have employees like him. Punctual, respectful, knowledgeable, and honest

Terrific job by Drew, with the roofing inspection & estimate we had 3 weeks ago from Pyramid Roofing! He was knowledgeable, straightforward, no-nonsense, and listened to what we were looking for, before giving any recommendations. His inspection was thorough but quick. He clearly knows roofs and shingles from experience, not making it up. Even though we had a lower cost estimate from another roofing company, we chose to go with Pyramid. Drew’s work had a lot do with our choice.

I hired Pyramid to replace the gutters over the front and back porches of our home. When I signed the contract, I was told the work would be completed within 2–3 weeks. Instead, the project wasn’t finished for 7 weeks—and only after I made multiple follow-up calls to get it scheduled.

The actual installation was well done. The gutters look great and function properly. However, the installer left behind a significant amount of debris, including screws and aluminum scraps, scattered across my yard and porches. I had to clean it all up myself.

Overall, while the job was eventually completed and the gutters work as intended, the poor communication, delays, and lack of cleanup reflect a lack of professionalism. I expected a smoother and more respectful customer experience.

Carlos, You are the man, thanks for sharing your expertise and educating me on issues to be mindful of. Looking forward to doing business with you.

Had Carlos Cintora come out to look at leak that was occurring around a vent pipe. He was professional and knowledgeable of what needed to be done. Showed the estimated cost of which was high I thought but when you have not done any repair to roof at all. You do not know what the cost is.

My review would be higher…but there are 2 parts to my review. The first part is customer service, product, and workmanship. This definitely is 5 ⭐️! The consultation with Erik was nothing but professional and he didn’t pressure me into anything and explained everything and answered all my questions. I was originally quoted 3 weeks..but was called after a week on a Monday and informed they would be installing on Thursday. Thursday came and everything went off without a hitch. Everything looked good from the pictures as I was out of town. Here is where the low score comes in. I get home on Friday and was disappointed with the “clean up”. Sure…all the major pieces and trash were cleaned up and they used a magnetic broom to catch all the nails. Well…I have picked up no less than 30 nails and am still finding more. There was asphalt all over my driveway and back porch. My fence and patio box were inexplicably covered with asphalt and dirt. I also went up into my attic and found large pieces of shingles and broken plywood along with clusters of leaves attached to the branches. No…they couldn’t get into my attic to clean…but how did those items get there in the first place? So I would give the clean up 2⭐️.

All in all…I would definitely recommend Pyramid Roofing for all things roofing as I have been utilizing their services for the past 10 years…just disappointed with the clean up effort.

The employee who initially look at the problem never went on the roof to investigate the subjected area , end up charging me $3,100 for a job I didn’t even need, thank goodness for the employee who came out after I reported a leak in the same area, he was vary professional and did an outstanding job to repair the problem.

The manager was very nice and the job was efficient. The manager was very sympathetic when the banging and hammering caused the globe on my light to fall and shatter.

Eric was great. He came out and inspected our issue looking for the leak. He even called apologizing that he was going to be late (10 min). He walked me through all the steps and even let me know what could be unforeseen and what that might cost as well. very respectful and courteous. Once again Pyramid Roofing has provided me with excellent service. Beginning with their technician Craig coming exactly on time and troubleshooting my roofing leak in an efficient and timely way. After explaining what he determined to be the probable cause of my roof issue he proceeded to make the necessary repair. Before leaving for his next call he showed me the repair area with an explanation that even I could understand!

Took a bit of time to get repairs. Fellow who came to repair, didn't know that vent pipe for water heater also went thru same exit. Now have to get plumber to re-vent. Did repairs and clean-up in professional manner.

Pyramid Roofing stood behind their work and fixed both problems that were caused by their installer. After three visits they matched my skylights and repaired the leak. I appreciate their prompt attention to both issues, but it would have been so much easier to do the job right the first time.

I was truly satisfied with Pyramid service, installation, and credit team. They all were very friendly They completed the job on the same day. The clean up afterwards I really don't have nothing negative to say. I really appreciate the service I received so much so we had one minor problem where the installers had left a tiny bit of tar on the white siding that my wife noticed. I pointed it out to the site manager he had them to try and clean it. A few weeks later they replaced the entire siding piece that was damaged. We were truly grateful because they went above and beyond to keep and maintain our business. I would definitely recommend them in the future. Oh and they pricing was the best quote we received from anyone in the area.

Pyramid Roofing did an outstanding job replacing our son’s roof in Norfolk. Craig Grindstaff, the salesperson, arrived right on time, was professional and friendly, and provided a very competitively priced quote. The quote also included installation of ridge vents to replace the turtle vents that were there, something other contractors did not include in their quotes. Craig also made sure our installation would qualify for the extended Atlas shingle warranty. The Pyramid office staff was a joy to work with, always very friendly and responsive. When my wife and I notified Pyramid that we had some travel time constraints, they went out of their way to schedule the roof replacement only two days later while we were still in town. The roofing team showed up on time, and Dave Lassiter, the roofing supervisor was wonderful to work with, talented and experienced. I monitored the work crews, too, and they did excellent quality work. Our son's roof looks wonderful! I highly recommend Pyramid Roofing.

After a rainstorm we discovered a leak in our garage. We called pyramid and the phone representative was very kind and set up an appointment for us on the 26th. OK. This is a lengthy. review. Short version is that Craig and his leads David, Tony, Michael and their crews are highly professional roof installers, and you would do well to give them a call if you have roofing concerns and want a job done well.

So, our house was 2 years old when we moved to this near-rural neighborhood eighteen years ago. the attached garage sprung leaks about 2 years later. We were new to the area and had no idea who might be a trustworthy roofer - you hear so many stories of fly-by-night home repair businesses, and we had our share of them in our previous home.

After some internet searches, we settled on Pyramid Roofing. Craig came out and did a very professional roof inspection, and determined that the sources of the leaks were around several roof vent openings. He arranged for a repair crew who corrected the problems - never another leak.

Fast forward seventeen years, and we contacted Pyramid again to come and assess how many years we had left in the original roof - all the houses around us had roofs replaced about 2 years ago. Craig came out again, did the inspection, and gave a quote that included removing the dozen or so old and outdated 'mushroom' style vents and replacing them with ridge vents.

We waited a year, and signed a contract to do the roofs on the house and shed with some very good Atlas roof materials rated to 130 mph winds, and replace the multiple old-style vents with ridge vents. Not sure that the crews were actually from Southside or Hampton or a combination.

Finally, the appointed day arrived, and David Lee called to notify that he and his crew were on the way with an early 7 AM start. David needed a fairly large crew considering the ambitious project to remove vents and do the roof replacement was going to take time and coordination if it was to be completed in a day. Dave worked with another lead - Tony - who brought together a lot of the roof vent system reconstruction work.

Then after David turned over what they thought was some simple cleanup to Tony, a weather alert came in that evening thunderstorms were on the way. Parts of the house roof had not been completed, and the shed roof had been removed but was unprotected.

Well, after notifying David, Tony and the crew worked way past 'normal' work hours. They worked until sundown and beyond until the last light at 8:45. They managed to finish the house roof, and replace the mushroom vent area with a plywood sheet, cut in the ridge vent, and cover the shed roof with the protective underlay materials that would 'waterproof' the shed roof. They did some quick cleanup and did not leave until well after dark. And as predicted, two bouts of 'pop-up' very drenching thunderstorms came through the area later that evening.

That was a very dedicated effort. The next morning David and the crew were back on the job to complete the shed and the house, perform a thorough cleanup, and put all our deck furniture back in place.

Ten or so days later Michael Shornak and crew arrived to do the gutter replacement part of the job. There was much less drama, and Michael and crew finished the job that included larger gutters and a leaf-guard system, as well as reconnecting the underground drains to the gutter. They did all this in half a day, and included installing some splash-guards and other 'water-management' features as Michael called them, on our fairly complicate roof lines.

Needless to say, we are extremely pleased with Pyramid's work. They are total professionals, and they know roofs. They are not always the low bidder, but the peace of mind we have knowing through experience that they have a great work ethic and stand behind their work make it worth every penny. We highly recommend them.
