After getting five quotes for a new roof, we decided to go with SB Roofing. We felt they were the best value for the money. From the product quality and warranty, to all of the extra pre-installation, installation and post-installation services that they provided within their service contract. Starting with Eric, who came out and walked our roof to diagnose any potential installation issues. Then later that day, he sent us a fair quote with different options so we could decide what upgrades we wanted and still stay within our budget. Once we decided on options and signed the contract, it was Hector and his crew’s turn. They showed up @ 7am and started prepping the area with netting to protect everything close to the house. Once the prepping was completed, they started scraping the old roof off and were very thorough in preparing the roof for the new installation. The cleanup process was unbelievable! Once completed, they took the netting down and used magnets, all of the way around our house to collect metal debris and stray nails. Then they went around and picked up any other debris that might have been missed the first time around. They even reached into and around my wife’s rose bushes to get items, that’s dedication! All of this was completed in one day and we are extremely happy that we decided to go with SB roofing. New shingles look FANTASTIC!!!!

Had a leak for a few weeks. Hector came out for the repair and did an excellent job. My wife and I are very pleased with the repair. I highly recommend them, ask for Eric and if it's a repair ask for Hector. He was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job.

SB roofing was amazing from the start!!! Eric came out and completed a thorough inspection of the house and answered all question my husband and I had about the project. He even took the time to update the quote with things we wanted for a fair price. The crew showed up promptly at 7am and worked nonstop to get our roof completed that day! Scott the owner even came by so he could check things out and was very nice and professional. They were very communicative and even checked with us periodically to make sure everything was going well. Our yard and surrounding property was protected with catch-all nets and they even picked debris out of our plants to make sure everything was clean. You wouldn't even know they were there! Overall they are an amazing company and I highly recommend them for any roofing project!

Anyone who’s ever had to replace a roof either on their home or business knows it’s a high dollar investment along w/generally a large mess & several days of disruption to your life. Had I known what a great job SB Roofing would do & that they would finish in a day & a half; I could have saved myself a lot of angst.
First, they lay plywood around all the major glass areas & doors for protection, then they set up a net collection system that hangs beside the external perimeter of your structure to catch the majority of debris.
Their 10 man crew works like a well oiled machine utilizing every minute of the day.
At the end of the day, they clean up leaving the area just as pristine as it was before they started their job. Same for the next half day when they finished.
They are GAF Certified Master Contractor along w/manufacturers warranty & extended warranties.
The worker(s) in charge of detailing the clean up also blew off w/a blower sidewalks, decks, porch, driveway etc. Used a large magnet they roll over the entire yard to pick up any metal objects that may have escaped the net system.
My house is 2 stories w/high pitch roof & a fairly good size home. My neighbors were in awe of the quality of the workmanship, efficiency & the finished product.
From Eric who’s the estimator, with pleasant demeanor, always return calls & ready to answer any questions. Owner Scott is easily accessible, very conscientious & willing to jump in if the need arises. Nothing is ever a problem; their attitude is how can we make this right.
Their business is heads above the competition. I highly recommend SB Roofing & any other service they provide.

If you’re in the market for a new roof, look no further than SB Roofing, Inc. Scott Byrd and his team of uber professionals handled all facets of the roofing process for me including several initial and follow-on roof inspections, homeowner’s insurance support, removal of old shingles, new shingle selection, flawless roof application and cleanup and more. Scott was instrumental in providing critical information to my insurance company that finally approved a whole roof installation. During the contract negotiation phase, Scott was very clear on what things should be included to enhance overall roof integrity, like ice and water shield in the valleys and starter strip shingles on the rakes and eaves, and those that were only incidental, nice but not necessary. Once the contract was complete, Scott gave me a start date and told me it would take two days. As promised, the SB Roofing Team, led by on-site Manager Bill, arrived early on the day we agreed on and began site preparation which included the covering of all important landscaping and hardwood decking close to the house. They put up guards along the edge of the roof to prevent any of the heavy debris from falling directly on our fragile boxwoods below. Bill explained everything to me as they went along. All members of the team appeared to be masters of the trade and had the old roof off by early afternoon on the first day. New shingle application began soon after. By mid-day the next day they were finished, brand new roof, expertly installed and all trash and debris removed. Arrived on time. Took less than two days. Right on cost, no surprises. Bill walked me around the house to see if I had any questions or issues. Asked me If I was satisfied. I said yes.

Bottom line: I strongly recommend SB Roofing for new roof installation. I found SB Roofing to be the complete package; over-the-top professionals in every way, experts in what they do and people who truly care about customer service. They explained what they were going to, did it, all while ensuring the customer was kept in the picture and happy.

SB Roofing just installed a roof on our house, and we couldn't be any happier with the work. We had 3 estimates and SB Roofing was in the middle. However, we chose them because the contract listed a GAF certified roof. They followed the contract to the letter. The crew was friendly and hard-working. SB Roofing performed an excellent job with our asphalt shingle roof replacement. The staff was always on time, courteous, and considerate of our property. The finished product is exactly as defined and, the quality & workmanship exceeded our expectations. Eric recommended replacing our skylights due to typical damage occurring during shingle removal. I was hesitant but, ultimately agreed. The Velux replacement skylights are a vast improvement of our previous builder quality lites. Their solar powered internal shades perform flawlessly. I would highly recommend Scott and staff for roofing projects.

I cannot give a high enough rating for SB Roofing...Scott, the owner, did several roofing jobs in our neighborhood with amazing referrals, and after several estimates we decided to go with SB roofing. Not only did Scott and his crew show up both days at 7 am.. they were meticulous, stuck to their timeline and did a fabulous job in just 2 days! Scott is very receptive and communicative with text messages and updates .
On top of it all, he helped us tackle a bee problem we noticed coming out of our roof and bees coming into our house. Needless to say I was panicked! Scott had his workers go through layers of plywood to uncover the biggest bee nest he had ever seen. He never asked us to get a pest control company to handle it. They just took care of it. Extremely happy with SB Roofing! Very competitive pricing, estimate was clear with no hidden costs. They were able to complete the roof on a 2 story condo in 2 days. Clean up was excellent. Scott installed our roof a year ago. I called him because there was leak coming from the ceiling. He came out right away to check on it fulfilling his promise to warranty his work.

It ended being an HVAC leak instead. Not only did he go the extra mile to find the true cause of the leak, but he actually unclogged the drain so I didn’t even have to call another company to go out there!

1st picture, “Roof before” had two minor leaks and a unused fireplace. Eric inspected the roof and determined previous roofers 15+ years ago, didn’t add plywood to existing roof above the attic and front porch to our shock. Marvins crew worked the first day 12 hours straight, with only maybe a 30 minute break for lunch. The roof was completed the next day as promised. 2nd picture “Roof after”. What a relief to have a perfect roof, our home was given the crown it deserves.

I received recommendations from neighbors about SB roofing when I needed to replace my roof. When I called the company, they set up an appointment for Eric to come out and talk to me. He suggested what needed to be done, what didn’t need to be done and some optional things such as replacing the 35 year old roof fan with one that is solar powered and replacing the 35 year old rusty chimney cap. He sent an estimate within a couple days with prices that were reasonable and in line with other estimates. The crew they sent out was outstanding and efficient. They kept the area clean, protected my landscaping and finished within 2 days. These are really great people to work with. They addressed my concerns with no problem and I would certainly use them again in a second. I have no qualms about recommending them to my friends and neighbors.

Eight years into a 10 year warranty, I called with concerns about one tricky low slope portion of my roof. Scott was prompt and pleasant when getting back to me. Despite the arrival of the remnants of hurricane Nicole, Scott arrived as promised and completed a thorough initial inspection and estimate in the middle of a tropical storm. I’m not exaggerating when I say the neighbors were taking pictures and asking questions about the guy on a ladder completely soaked.

The bid was highly competitive, accurate to the last detail, and all worked completed in about 2 weeks total. SB roofing saved the day for me! I had a water leak during a storm and called SB roofing for help. Eric came out the next day and inspected my roof, gave me a quote, and explained everything to me and what to expect. The process was quick and easy for me where SB roofing took care of everything for me. Roofers came out and removed old roof, installed new one, cleaned up after. The hardest part of this process was picking what color of roof I wanted. I absolutely and unconditionally recommend SB roofing to everyone!

S.B. Roofing just completed a major job on my home. A new roof with much needed repairs, gutters with guards, new soffit and columns were all completed in timely order. SB was one of a kind! They were quick to respond and answer any questions we had. We aren't exactly sure of the age of our roof so we have asked a few companies to come out and give us an assessment and estimate. Another company (not SB) told us our roof urgently needed to be replaced and that all of the plywood underneath was 3/8" and did not meet city code. SB came out and took a look and confirmed that iur roof was still in good shape and we had a couple more years left before it would need to be replaced. They also confirmed that the plywood was the correct thickness and only some sheets would be in need of replacing due to damage not due to wrong sizing. I have such a respect for companies who tell the truth and don't try to swindle their customers. Thank you for your expertise and professionalism! We will be calling you in a couple years when it is truly time to replace our roof. 20 of 10 would recommend SB!!

Having our roof replaced after 24 years was one of the hardest decisions to make as homeowners. After going through 7 roofing presentations, we decided to go with SB Roofing. Scott did a super job of walking us through the whole process. He uses the most modern technology to accurately measure the size of the roof, and he orders materials with incredible accuracy. We selected GAF because it has all of the upgrades we wanted to protect our home and give it great curb appeal. Our roof was an extremely difficult project with lots of hips and valleys. Scott waited until the weather was perfect, as he does plan for the precise timing to do the work. His team was awesome. Some of the hardest working group in the business. There was always a supervisor on site, to address any of our concerns. They are constantly on the roof, documenting through photos, the entire process. The crew was very professional and did a thorough job on my new roof. They effectively communicated the process to me, even reminding me to cover any open boxes and/or other objects in the attic, as it is a messy job. At the conclusion of each day, the crew did a careful job cleaning up; I did not see a single nail around the house.

I had 6 total estimates before deciding on this company. They were not the most expensive, and they were not the least expensive. Though, what stood out was the knowledge, integrity, and professionalism of the owner. This was why I originally chose the company. They did not disappoint either. They did a top notch job on my home, and I have had many compliments as well. They showed up in the morning and were done in the early evening. They did a good job with the clean up. I really liked the fact that they also sent pics to me of the job being done from beginning to end; this was a nice surprise. I highly recommend them. They have also done a lot of other houses in my neighborhood, which I found out later.

About a month ago our roof lost a decent amount of shingles in several places due to a storm. Our homeowners insurance said they wouldn’t be sending an adjuster due to the COVID travel restrictions but they would accept a licensed roofer’s estimate and recommendation. Not only did Scott come out within a day of us calling, he was also amazing to work with during the insurance process. He was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable about what information they would need and made several extra trips to the house to take more pictures and conduct more tests at the insurance agents request. Once the insurance process was done, Scott came out again so we could select the shingle type, underlayment type, and pipe boot options and sign the contract while he walked us through how the work would be done and what we could expect while his crew was here. This was helpful since we had never had a roof replaced before.

The crew got started on our roof less than a week later thanks to Scott’s thoughtfulness of putting us on the schedule ahead of time so we wouldn’t have to wait 2-3 more weeks to get it fixed (this was awesome because we had a few small leaks pop up in the interim due to the previous damage). They were very professional and hardworking, and completed the job in just two days - an impressive feat since our roof is large and they had to replace more plywood than they originally planned. The finished product looks amazing (we’ve received several compliments already and it’s not even been a week) and Scott’s crew left our property practically spotless when they left. I contracted SB Roofing to replace the roof on my house and workshop,. In addition, they removed my attic fan and box vents replacing them with a ridge vent system.

The crew arrived on-time and made quick work of removing the old roof. It appeared to me that the crew had worked together often. Each person had a role and always knew what to do next. They used top quality materials and took care to install them correctly. The installation was completed quickly.

The team did an exceptional job on the clean up. They picked all debris, even the smallest pieces. They made several passes with the magnetic rollers to collect the nails.

SB Roofing did a great job start to finish! They were very professional and worked efficiently and with attention to detail the whole time. We have skylights and they were still able to replace our whole roof with quality as their goal in one day, cleanup included (my neighbors yards were addressed as well)! It looks great and I can breathe a sigh of relief that we now have a fully functioning, high quality roof. Also, they arranged any furniture and outdoor items that needed to move for them to work even more organized than how they found it. I appreciated the courtesy and respect they showed to both my home and to my neighbors property as well.
