Our house was built in 2003 and we needed to have the entire outside including the casita and brick wall painted. The job took 10 days due to delays caused by the high winds. The painters were friendly and professional, and did an amazing job. They removed the knickknacks and furniture from the front and backyard and covered everything windows, etc. to make sure that paint did not splatter or stain anything else. They did stucco repair to our pillars and miscellaneous areas which was sorely needed too. This job was not cheap, but it was money well spent, and these hardworking men deserve every penny!

I recently had Straight Edge Painting refresh my front door, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The paint job is absolutely beautiful—smooth, flawless, and perfectly executed. The team was punctual, professional, and incredibly polite from start to finish. They took great care to ensure everything was done right, paying attention to the smallest details. Can not say enough good things about this company. We are getting ready to sell our house and attempted to take on repainting on our own to a more sell-able color. Well, with a newborn and a toddler in tow, that proved to be too overwhelming so we decided to look into hiring the pros. We were prepared to have to spend an arm and a leg to get everything to look the way we wanted. However we were amazed when we got such an incredibly affordable quote and the job was done within a week of us inquiring about the project. 100% recommend to anyone looking to revamp their home.

Jay and Straight Edge Painting is a company that not only stands by their work, but goes above and beyond. We recently completed an interior project with Jay and Straight Edge Painting. The communication, scheduling flexibility, and quality of work done were all great (see my previous review below).

However, what's happened after they completed the job is even more impressive. Our agent sent us pictures of a few areas around the house where paint didn't quite match or where there were spots on the wall due to chipping / paint scratching. I thought this was from Jay's crew and sent a follow up asking about these areas. Long story short, while these were not the areas that Jay and his team worked on, he did us a major solid and sent someone out to clean up these areas.

I cannot recommend Jay and Straight Edge Painting. If you are looking for a company that is ethical, great with communication, and goes above and beyond, Straight Edge Painting is the company for you. Your only regret will be not contacting them if you have a paint job. Do yourself a favor and reach out to them.

We hired Jay and his team to repaint and repair drywall on various parts of our home. Some of the areas were entire rooms (with holes in the wall), and some were just parts of a wall. Jay and his team were fantastic from start to finish. We were remote at the time, but Jay was able to coordinate everything, and I really appreciated how smooth, consistent, and clear his communication was. Most importantly, the job looks fantastic!

Jay was also very flexible in scheduling our smaller sized job in between other work. Also, even though we didn't go with Jay and Straight Edge on another project (nothing they did wrong) a while back, Jay was very professional about this engagement from quote to finish. I really appreciate the end to end experience here.

I would use Jay and Straight Edge Painting again in a heartbeat. Even if you are hiring someone else, do yourself a favor and get a quote from Straight Edge Painting.

We had paint & drywall repair throughout out house from roof leaks. Jay had done work for us years ago. I was happy to find that his phone # hadn't changed and he was able to do our current job. The workers were polite and professional. The job was done quickly and was cleaned-up nicely after completion. We are very pleased with the result.

Jay Schellenberger is the owner & operator who comes with credentials, experience, and high recommendations. The house is in a unique HOA subdivision located within the Summerlin North Community Association requiring compliance to specific approved exterior color scheme. Mr. Schellenberger and his staff are professionals and competent in every respect and were able to address provisions in the approved application for exterior painting. Straight Edge Painting professional approach, in place process & procedures, the paying attention to details, and the completeness & accuracy of their work will not disappoint you!!

We bought a new build home build that, for some unknown reason, was only going to be delivered in white. We knew that we were going to need something a little more inspiring than that, so we worked with Jay and his team to make the interior of our home feel more like us. From start to finish, the whole process was clearly communicated, facilitated and executed. If his team had a question, it was asked promptly, and no work was interrupted while they waited for our answer. Not only is our house absolutely perfect, the level of commitment from the entire team was unparalleled. Neighbors and colleagues are stunned when they learn how amazing the whole team was. Simply put, it doesn't get any better than this!

Jay was very accommodating when we first called him for an appointment. He was thorough and gave us great suggestions for our property, and pricing was competitive.

Jay helped us to pick out the exact color we wanted for the cabinets and then suggesting to do a feature wall in the same color was spot-on. They completed our project was amazing. They are all very meticulous with the quality of their workmanship. It's a very enjoyable experience.

I had our main level and upstairs painted. The painters were very attentive to the many dings in the drywall and did an amazing job making the walls look new again. Reasonable price! Overall was very satisfied with the outcome.

Straight edge did a really good job painting all our doors, baseboards, walls and ceilings. It was a pretty big project, with virtually no delays on their side. And the results were super impressive. David the project manager was super professional, responsive and helpful at all times. Will definitely use their services again down the road, also big thanks to Cindy the office manager!
