Storm Guard Roofing of Slidell

I have worked with Stormguard on several houses of clients and 2x on my own house! I am so happy, they just completed a fortified roof and looking forward to seeing my insurance go down. They were great to work with. I grew up in Florida with white roofs. Not sure why more people don't have them here. Rick and Tommy worked to make sure I got my white roof (for the 2nd time) and it looks great!

Needed a repair for a roof leak, and Storm Guard did an excellent job start to finish. Their surveyor Marshall came out and was extremely thorough and professional in his examination of the roof and interior crawl spaces near the leak. He was able to confidently identify the cause of the leak and propose the work and quote based on his findings in an expedient manner.

When it came time for the repair itself, they were able to squeeze us in to beat out a lot of forecast rain showers we were expected to have the next few days. The two who arrived to do the repair were polite, extremely fast and safe while working, and also cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly. It definitely was a positive experience start to finish, and the lack of leak while it is raining it also a nice thing to have again.

It was a pleasure doing business with Storm Guard roofing. The sales force and the owner both made every effort to accommodate our needs and requests. The work was done quickly and efficiently. I would recommend them to anyone needing a roof. Below are the before and after photos.

The work team (thanks Ricky) did a great job and finished well ahead of the time I expected given the size of the roof. We had our roof replaced by Storm Guard on February 28, 2025. Before I hired them I did my due diligence to get 3 different quotes. Storm guard wasn’t the cheapest option but I still decided to go with them because they had outstanding 5 star reviews. I had a very pleasant experience with Marshall Holt who came to my house, did the inspection and worked with me on the quote. He was very experienced and easygoing. Ricky was our production manager, he stayed with the crew the entire day and was monitoring and making sure that everything is going smooth.
The roof was done in one day. The crew cleaned up nicely upon completion. I would recommend Storm Guard to everyone who is looking to replace their existing roofs. They are professional, honest, punctual and leave the work site super clean! The entire process was stress free.

After making the big decision to replace 22 windows in my house, I had 3 companies come to my house to give quotes. Tommy Waguespack just completed a roof inspection at our home. Tommy was very responsive to my initial request, scheduled the inspection for the next day and arrived at the expected time. He was very courteous and professional.

Mr. Tommy Waguespack was great! He helped us with making decisions on our roof. I had received several quotes and Mr. Waguespack suggested that I look into other aspects of my home that may need repair instead of just giving me a quote to repair my roof when it may not be needed. It’s hard to trust people in industries that you may not be very knowledgeable and I really appreciate the transparency.

Marshall showed up on time to give me a quote on a new roof. He was very detailed in his description of the work to be done and the materials to be used, and unlike other roofers I contacted wasn’t interested in upselling me or telling me I needed anything that I don’t, even when I gave him the opportunity. I don’t have a new roof yet, but so far so good!

Cannot recommend this roofing company enough. From initial request for services and throughout the process, communication and transparency was top notch. I never felt pressured or pushed into getting something I didn’t need or want. Storm Guard gave me a competitive quote on my new fortified roof. Once agreed upon, the work as performed quickly and professionally! I even had some additional work recommended and Storm Guard was able to connect me the correct outside resource at a time when securing this work is otherwise a lengthy process with difficulty finding services. My new roof is exactly what I wanted. Note- my roof was completely optional and I wasn’t using insurance to cover costs because there was no damage or requirement, so I was grateful for the honesty of Thomas at Stormguard not to “push” unnecessary work. This made me feel I was in control over all decisions through the entire process and for me, that’s very important when sourcing services and making large investments. Would not use anybody else other than storm guard they know what they doing. They get the job done right away and they’re very favorable.

After discovering a leak on my roof, a friend of mine referred me to Storm Guard. An appointment was scheduled and Marshall was sent out, and he was prompt, respectful, and very helpful with guiding me in the right direction to fix the leak. We got scammed with a terrible roof replacement after Hurricane Ida and had to replace the entire roof again due to multiple leaks. Stormguard did such high quality work and made us so comfortable that we were in good hands. Not only did they replace the roof, but they changed all of the vents to match the roof color without being asked. I never thought I would think a roof was pretty but our new roof looks great and has actually improved the curb appeal of our home! Would absolutely recommend Stormguard and we are so grateful to have a reliable roof for our family.

Storm Guard sent out a contractor quicker than I expected which was great! The Roofing Consultant was very professional and engaging. He followed up as promised the next business day. He explained every step of the claims process and gave me all the information I needed to know and what to expect going forward.

We had someone out to look at the repairs needed but have not received an estimate yet. Look forward to hearing from them.

Edit/update: Caulk wasn't enough, work had to be done, at least 2 rows of shingles were to be replaced over each dormer. Leaking persisted even after that and since I've paid them in full (because they did come do the work) I have not been able to schedule them to come out again and help do more investigating as to the cause of the issue. They did work fast and were professional when I talked to them/when they were here.

Initial: Sent a message in on their website. Was called about an hour later and they were able to get someone out same day! Marshall Holt came to give me an estimate for couple areas of concern that were leaking. Turns out it just needed a little caulk and was good to go. I will be calling Marshall again if I have any roof concerns! He was polite and professional and arrived within the time he said he would.

Excellent prompt Roof Repairs at 2 different properties. I used Storm Guard Services on an investment property because they had completed a repair on the roof at my personal residence 6 months ago. It was done right the 1st time. No hassle. Priced right. They installed shingles I had on-site which saved me $$$. If you have a roofing issue, call Storm Guard 1st and you won't need to waste time calling anyone else to get a second bid.

I can't speak highly enough about this company. Tommy and Ricky made the entire process super easy and stress free. Mr. Waguespack was very knowledgeable in regard to Fortifying Roofing. He explained the entire process to me in great detail. He arrived promptly at 9am as promised. Storm Guard Roofing is located here in Slidell which is a plus. He stated if problems arise from the work done by Storm Guard, they handle it quickly.
If I am accepted into the Fortified Roofing Program in Louisiana, this company will definitely be one of the roofing company to be awarded the job.

I had scheduled a number of companies to provide quotes. Marshall, with Storm Guard was by far the most professional where it came to information and presentation.
There was a miscommunication with the materials, and when I discovered this halfway through the installation, Storm Guard took every opportunity to remedy the situation and make sure I was comfortable with the final product. The roof looks great and the team did a fantastic job cleaning up the site after they completed the work. We felt safe during the entire process and would definitely recommend them for roofing and repairs.

To anyone looking to have a roof installed, look no further. Storm Guard is "The Best". Everything was clearly explained, no hidden fees, bad customer service, etc, etc ! I am very pleased to be working with Cliff Falls on our roofing situation. He did a most thorough inspection, effectively patched our leaks, and patiently explained the squirrel damage to me and my wife. We are looking forward to discussing a new roof with him next week.

Was able to get Marshall out within a day or two of calling for an estimate. He was very thorough during his assessment and good at explaining everything. Won't hesitate to call them again in the future.

Horrible experience! Just know they WILL NOT abide by price you sign and agree to on your contract. After the roof installation is complete they will charge you $3K more than your agreed upon price. And that increase was not based on any hidden damages or repairs. DO NOT trust them to go through your insurance company. Avoid the surprise billing, avoid at all cost!

Thomas Waguespack did a great job getting everything lined up to replace my roof after the hurricane last year. He answered all of our questions and followed up on making sure everything was to my satisfaction upon completion of the job.

From the time of my first phone call until the end of the project, I was treated well by Cliff and others that I corresponded with via email. I'd use them again without a doubt!
