100% recommend! I had an inspection of my roof done after the many storms over the past 15 years and seeing my neighbors getting roof work done left and right. Hugo Cordova showed up directly on time of my appointment... to the MINUTE! After a brief conversation, up the ladder he went, walking every square foot of my roof. He came down and told me my roof is in great shape and doesn't need anything. Wait! What?!! In 2023, being told by a tradesman that you DON'T need to replace something, especially when it would go through insurance, is beyond refreshing. Yes, there are still honest companies out there! My roof was pretty beat up after several storms so I called this company and Hugo walked me through how to file the insurance claim and went step-by-step with me. I’m very happy with the new roof and I was happy with their professionalism throughout the process. These guys are just amazing. They are very professional. I called them for my Roof inspection as it was more then 8 years old and we had some hail recently, Tos.Fawehinmi texted me his timing and came exactly on time, did my roof inspection for free and told me the roof is in very good shape and need no repair. However while inspecting the siding, he told me one of siding has poped-out and shown me the picture and he just climbed up and fixed it and didn't charge me a penny. Earlier, when I called some guys to estimate to repair those siding, almost all of them were quoting more then 500$, which I felt was too much !.... Tos told me, just spread the word about them with my friends and neighbors about their good job. Wow !... It is very difficult to get such a good-hearted, honest and genuine people whom we can trust for our housing repairs. I'm very happy to recommend these people to anyone who needs roof/siding repairs !...

Storm Guard was the first on site after a minor fire that destroyed our siding. Hugo Cordova, Restoration and Construction Specialist was responsive and first on the scene to work with us and the insurance agency to remedy the damage. It was determined by our insurance company that the entire house required new vinyl siding. Hugo and his team of installers were courteous, knowledgeable, available day and night and even weekends to answer our calls and questions. Their work was exceptional; they were here when they said they would be here and did the work with professionalism and expert skill. Hugo was always available to answer any questions, changed his schedule to accommodate our needs and made everything come together in a timely and professional manner. He went above and beyond in making sure everything was completed on time and worked with us on a very tight timeframe. I highly recommend this company!

I had a roof leak after a storm and multiple contractors suggested to go for roof replacement, without climbing up the roof and doing a full inspection. I called Storm Guard and scheduled an inspection. Hugo came right on time and was very professional. He climbed up the roof, performed a thorough inspection, and showed me the pictures of what may have caused the leaks. He said I don't need the full roof replacement but would need caulking. Without providing estimate he said he will do it for free as is not that big job. He caulked affected areas in a couple of minutes. It has rained a couple times since he did the fix, and the leaks are gone. I'd definitely recommend Storm Guard for their honesty and professionalism and will also use them in the future.

They did a great job diagnosing/repairing some damage around the windows on the front of my house as well as gutter removal and installation. Excellent communication and very professional. Very pleased with the quality of the work and the overall experience. Will definitely use them in the future.

We worked with StormGuard after a hailstorm caused more damage to our already 35 year-old roof. They were able to get us $8,000 from our insurance company to help with the install of a new roof.

The new roof design was updated from the original to include more advanced technologies. We worked with Hugo and Heather mainly to ensure we liked the look of the new shingles and would be out of the house during install (it's loud).

The entire process took two days, which is apparently longer than their usual, since we have an unusual home design. The teams were professional and courteous. My wife and I love the new roof look and are pleased with the extremely long warranty it comes with. No hassles now for a long, long time.

My first interaction with this company was after some hurricane force winds struck the area in 2016. They're the only company that responded to my phone calls and we're out there late in the day the day after the wind storm guides surveyed the damage gave me a range of the cost. After paying a deposit our roof was the first one to be tarped in the entire neighborhood all the other companies did not get a chance to get out there but storm guard did and we were carved before the next rain storm hit. Install the correct shingles on the roof waited till the weather was warm enough to do so. 5 years later I ended up having some other shingles that got blown off by another windstorm called storm guard again they came out discover that it wasn't there shingles that I got blown away and immediately repaired the damages. Once again their professional service was amazing the work quality is impeccable and I do know that at least five other homes in our own neighborhood have had their roofs by this company.

Thank God for Hugo Cordova. He was instrumental in getting our insurance company to accept our claim. And when the insurance company finally did accept the claim (after three different roof inspections and an engineer’s report), Storm Guard’s workmanship and professionalism was bar none.

Storm Guard was very professional, competent and efficient when replacing my roof and trim. Doug Toler was personable and knowledgeable, answered my emails and calls promptly and oversaw the project beginning to end. After sending Storm Guard a few pictures of my home, I chose my shingle style and color and received a quote the next day (work began the end of the following week). The work crew was very respectful, cleaning up all debris from the removal and replacement materials.

The only cons of my Storm Guard experience was the time to get larger samples of the shingle colors I was debating. The online manufacturer’s colors are not representative, but I realize that putting full size shingles on a board isn’t realistic.

I'm not big on posting reviews but for this major home repair project, I just wanted to pass along my experience working with Storm Guard. Two of my neighbors had already used Storm Guard and recommended them. From the beginning it was clear they were a professional organization. They came and did an initial assessment, walked us through the insurance process, came out and talked with the insurance inspector during their inspection, explained what the next steps were, and kept the communication going through the day and a half of the roof replacement. The crew worked their butts off and did an outstanding job. They even circled back and inspected the roof and had the crew fix something that I, as the homeowner, didn't even notice. When you are spending a small fortune on a home repair project finding the right contractor can make all the difference. Storm Guard in Chantilly is one of those companies. He did not try to sell the company or services. He just gave me straight talk advice which I really appreciate.

They fairly determined that the damage was minimal and did some minor repair WITHOUT the hard sell of a whole new roof. I found out on the internet that Doug is HAAG certified which is a big deal in the roofing industry and gives Doug extra authority when dealing with insurance companies regarding damage to my home. So I had Storm Guard come out for a FREE roof inspection. Another gentleman by the name of Hugo, came out and walked my roof, took pictures with state of the art software, thoroughly investigated my siding and windows for damage , walked around my home, and then presented me with his results. I was so impressed with how much detail in a matter of minutes Hugo had in his hands about my home. Hugo then told me that they have the same software the insurance companies use to write up damage assessments which simply means their software speaks the same language as the software insurance companies use so it cuts down on time and they can get claims done faster since they are speaking the same language as the insurance adjusters. Storm Guard went above and beyond in fixing items required in the home inspection in record time for the sale of my house — after running out of time trying to fix most of these items on my own. I noticed some leaking coming through the roof in my house and gave them a call and left a voicemail to set up a free consultation. Jamar called me back almost immediately and was able to set up with a timely appointment. On the day of, Jamar was timely, friendly and I was very impressed with how knowledgeable he was. Even on a very windy day, he didn't hesitate to climb on top of my roof to do a close up inspection and even took pictures of some problem areas he noticed. He explained what he thought the issues were and thoroughly laid out what repairs needed to be done. Because I plan on paying for the repairs out of pocket, I will be shopping around, however, I definitely had a very positive experience and if they end up being the most affordable, I wouldn't hesitate to go with them.

Our house was hit (like many in Chantilly) by the hail storm back in June 2016. I contacted Doug from Storm Guard and he had Hugo come out to inspect our house. Based on their review, they suggested we contact the insurance company for an inspection/claim. We did so, and Hugo was here as our advocate when the Insurance Adjuster came. Hugo worked with the adjuster and we received a full roof. Through the roofing process, their crew was friendly, worked efficiently, and did everything they could to leave my yard looking untouched. My roof looks like a million bucks...fortunately, the bill was nowhere near that! :)

They are extremely professional and let their work speak for itself. I especially appreciate they don't drop off a bunch of guys in the neighborhood to knock on my door 17 times (cough...cough...Katchmark). They also didn't unfurl a bunch of banners and turn my front yard into a billboard. These are small things to some, but they are important to me and I appreciate it.

Mr. Cordova came out to do an estimate and repair and then had to come back to take photos and write a detailed report for a prospective buyer, even after repairs had been made. I can't say enough about how quickly he and the admin, Kim, responded and got us what we needed in time for settlement. They are my go-to guys forever!
