They did a lovely job, replacing one of the roofs of a rental property of mine. Also, they replaced the roof of a shed at another property. I was so appreciative of their honesty and integrity. They found that they had leftover material from my house that they could use on my shed in which they saved me $300 off the original quote. That was so kind of them because they did not have to do that. I am sure most roofers would stick to the quote. Thank you again.

Stephenson roofing replaced my roof, added more vents and replaced 3 skylights. Several years later we are selling our property and the buyers inspection suggested an issue with our skylights. I called Gord, he immediately came up with a plan of action including bringing in the Owner Brad and offered to use their own inspector or one of my choosing to check their work. I went back to the buyers with this information and immediately the insoector backtracked in his claims! Talk about standing by your work! Thank you Gord and Brad for your professionalism quality and belief in your work! Highly recommend! *****!

Recommended by our home inspector to replace a very old torch on roof and plywood underneath. Excellent job by a professional, courteous, friendly team. Would highly recommend.

I am so, so glad we went with Stephenson Roofing for this project! The results are fantastic. We just bought a house whose roof was at least 20 years-old; it was covered in moss, most of the fascia boards were rotted, and the paint was peeling off the wood. Everything including the chimney cap and flashing were in really rough shape. But Brad, Gord and their team really completely turned it around. Their work was extremely clean, professional, and high quality. The new gutters look so good!

On top of all that, their quotes were very fair for how much had to be redone. I've included a couple photos of the before and after, but they don't nearly do justice to show the complete transformation. Even the technician who came to check out our attic insulation today noted how good the work was!

We recently had our roof and a skylight replaced by Stephenson Roofing and were really happy with the experience. Communication was quick and clear, the quote was thorough and competitive, the team who did the work were professional and friendly, and the quality of the work itself is great. They even finished earlier than expected. It’s a solid local company that I’d highly recommend to anyone.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
