Starks Roofing Co.

This company is a scam. They are not registered and probably not even licensed. Give out 15 year warranties which aren’t worth the paper they are printed on. They setup fake business address and disconnect their phones after they screw you over. Will overcharge and not come to fix the problems they caused. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY

I had a terrible experience with John at Starks Roofing. I hired him to repair approximately 130 square feet of roof shingles that were blown off by strong wind. He was the first to arrive and quoted me $5,000+. It was raining that day so I negotiated the price down to $2,800 and hired him on the spot. A few days later my home insurance company sent an inspector over to investigate the damage. The inspector concluded that the fair price should be around $1,400 and the repair that John did was of poor quality and would need to be redone. I then did my own research from other sources and found out that the job should cost $1,200-$1,500, consistent with the insurer's estimate. I provided evidence to John and after a few rounds of negotiations, he agreed to refund me $1,200. However, after citing various reasons to not make the payment of the refund over the past two months, he finally went silent, until this day.
