Just bought a new Ram 1500 from Stalker. Joe was my salesman. All around good experience. Joe was low pressure, friendly and knowledgeable. I met the service staff and they were friendly and thanked me for purchasing my Ram from them. No complaints at all. If you want to get away from the big city wait, sales pressure and lines, etc., I suggest going to Creston to check out Stalker. Good, honest folks.

After searching around Des Moines for a Traverse. I was able to locate one at Stalker. I was hesitant to travel away from the metro. I was pleasantly surprised on my experience there. I was VERY pleased with the top knotch customer service and knowledgeable service as well as their willingness to work with my extended warranty company. They even gave me a loaner car at no extra charge the whole time my car was there awaiting repairs. They even found 2 other repairs was unaware of, called warranty company and got all repairs covered by warranty company except the $100 deposit and oil change. They kept me updated with progress. When they found out the transmission sent by warranty co. Wasn't functioning properly, they immediately informed me and contacted the transmission co. & Warranty co. Made it so much easier for me and less stressful. Now my car feels like a brand new ride. I'm usually very leery of mechanics and dealerships because I've had so many bad experiences. I only trust maybe 2 people to repair my car, add this repair shop to my list, I wont hesitate to go here again! Satisfied customer here! Thanks guys!!

Called about a truck listed online, salesman went above and beyond to provide needed photos of truck. Drove 10 hours and am happy to say it was what he said it is and better. Needless to say, it went home with me, 574 miles. Trustworthy people to work with.

Eight or ten years ago I scheduled a front-end alignment, and I was told that the service manager would do unnecessary repairs. I specifically told him that I had replaced all the ball joints myself and not to do anything but the alignment without notifying me first. When I picked up the truck he said in passing, “we rotated your tires for you”. I thought that was nice of him but when I went to pay he charged me $22.00 for it. I paid it but never went back. If I couldn’t trust them on a $80 front-end alignment why would I buy a new or used car from them?

I drove past Stalkers to by my 2018 Colorado from Karl Chevrolet. It came with two free oil changes and a twelve-month bumper to bumper warranty. I went to Stalkers for the oil changes because I thought with bumper-to-bumper warranty they could not rip me off.

I was very mistaken.

I had a taillight out and I thought with bumper-to bumper why not let stalkers fix it during my second oil change? At first they tried to charge me $112 dollars. I had to explain that I still had a free oil change and 12 months of bumper to bumper warranty. They covered the oil change but charged me over $70 to change a freaking taillight bulb. Eleven dollars for the bulb and $60 in labor. I checked on my way home from work, NAPA has the same bulb for $2.78. I now understand that a bulb is considered maintenance but why wouldn’t you mention it isn’t covered under “bumper-to-bumper” before charging me $70? Stalkers better enjoy that $70 because it will be the LAST TIME I ever go there. The next time I get a GMC certified vehicle I will drive past stalkers to go to Stuart, DesMoines or Ankeny for a free oil change. Stalkers will never have a chance to cheat me again.

Ron and Trish were absolutely fabulous to work with. I spoke to Ron about a vehicle that is impossible to get in my city and he held it until I could drive the 2 hours to see and test drive it.

I've had Stalker Chevrolet service my vehicles every time and they have always done a fantastic job! They come and get my vehicle and return it so I don't have to leave work. Their service department responds quickly and always gets my vehicle in quickly.

The buying experience was good - I appreciated that they don't tack on extra fees like administrative fees or service plans, or less negotiable if you don't use their financing, which I've found to be the case at other dealers.
